Hi,On installed items there is the possibility to update product id, we do this with import to update product id's in bulk.We also want to update the product id’s on Inventory Items, is there a way to update product id's of Inventory items (trough import)? I can make an API to update the product id but de bin_part qty is not updating for old product id and new product id. Thanks,Robin

Hi  I am trying to create a Swiss QR Code in IFS9, to do this I will use the standard one added in IFS10. However the one I can create in IFS10 looks a lot different then the examples you can generate online. Does anyone have experience with using the IFS QR Code - getting it to scan correctly? In the picture, the top one is from IFS. 

We have a situation where we use condition-based PM actions to generate WOs for objects based on run hours.   For example, let’s say the condition is set up as below. So, the maintenance plan is predicted and generated as below.  All good.  Practically, these objects are not getting serviced when the exact value reached.  So, the actual value or run hours on the work task performed date can be lower or higher. Let’s assume that we perform the maintenance at 175 hours.  So ideally the next WO generation should happen 375 hours.  But the system waits till 400 hours for automatic generation.   We can track the actual performed value using generated value and last value fields, but the automatic generation does not consider the actual performed value. No changed to the planned value. Is there any option in IFS to have this catered?  

hi All,I can insert or update the schedule in Employee schedule from IFS client , but I can only insert a record in WORK_SCHED_ASSIGN using DMM and update will give an error at the deployment container.My requirement is to use DMM tool to update the schedule from C to B in below IFS window. the CSV file is attached and it looks like : at the deployment container I get below error and the record did not get updated.Method NEW failed : ORA-20110: WorkSchedAssign.INSOVERLAP: Overlapping date intervals. Has anyone used DMM tool to update schedule in WORK_SCHED_ASSIGN?Does anyone know why I am getting below error and how to resolve this?Or is this a limitation in DMM? Thank you! 

HI, I would like to know the table with the data  :1/ Installed item and customer site (as we could see in Installed item transaction or Customer center > Item Inst)I thought it was the table Item_Inst but it seems that we don’t have the customer site in this table. 2/ Installed item and customer site AND status of the Inst item and the PM_person_IDMaybe a sql is required for this second use case ?  Can you help me ? Thanks and Regardsanthony   

Hi All,ifsapp-odata pod was in ERROR state and the other new ifsapp-odata pod also was recreated on its own but the old pod not deleted/dropped automatically,  we encountered multiple issue in application for example "Reports (PDFs) are not loading/ previewing for the user". when we deleted the error ifsapp-odata pod and restarted the new ifsapp-odata pod then the system came back to normal. Getting error in ifsapp-odata podStatus:       FailedReason:       EvictedMessage:      Pod ephemeral local storage usage exceeds the total limit of containers 1G. Kindly guide us, it will be highly appriciated.Regards,Vivek NR.

Hi Experts, at the moment we are trying to configure DMM too to do the migration for a new implementation. The customer hosting the 23R1 version on premise and we are having some hard time to get the DB links works for  non production environment. We have setup the Template project in PROD and then created a project based on the template projects. However, not clear about how we can create DB links to add non production environments as connected environments.  can someone help me to find out the proper way of doing it  like what user we need to use here and stuff like that. Kind Regards!Niyomal.

Trying to remove the start of a column on a report but the beginning is variable length so I want to remove up to the first space found and I tried this vldtstr:strMid(tns:INVOICE_NO_PP_ID,vldstr:strScan(tns:INVOICE_NO_PP_ID,' ')+1,20) but i get an error - GENREPORTIO:Could not generate report:”TRANS_CONF_ERROR:Failed transforming report data: ‘Syntax error in ‘format:formatDateTime($date_2754,’MM/dd/yyyy’,’vldtstr:strMid(tns:INVOICE_NO_PP_ID,vldstr:strScan(tns:INVOICE_NO_PP_ID,' ')+1,20)’)’.”  Of course there is nothing in the column about formatDateTime so not sure where that came from - looked for missing apostrophe but nothing. I also used this in a column by itself and it works fine - vldstr:strScan(tns:INVOICE_NO_PP_ID,' ')+1 to return the position of the space. 

I’ve spent a little time reading the technical documentation on the Configuration Contexts.  It was a little confusing and was a little confusing.  I’ve taken some time and have rewritten it.  I’d like to forward that to the owner of this help documentation for them to consider whether they’d like to replace the existing help wording.Who is that person?Thank youPatrick

Hello,I’m in a multi-company instance.  Some companies are manufacturing (SO’s) and some of those do project time.  One is a Service oriented company (WO’s/WT’s).  We have the following Time Reg aware Modules activated:  SHPORD, PRJREP, INDIRECT,  WO.Is it possible (how) to limit my Service Company to only the WO button (we don’ want to see SHPORD, PRJREP, INDIRECT)?Thanks, Troy

We have a need for creating DeliveryNote report print on file in a specific folder for some customer ID.   Is there anyone who have been able to do this with a configuration? Maybe report rule in combination with output channel and routing rules?  

Hi,We know that there is an option to allow email addresses to be used for more than one contact now, but we want to keep using that as a way to prevent duplicate contacts from being accidentally created.  So ,we were wondering if there is any hybrid way that we can still get the warnings when someone tries to use the same email address but at the same time we could duplicate an email address when we really need to?  Perhaps just some users being able to do that perhaps?Or get the warning but could ignore it.Any suggestions would be very welcome.Thanks, Chris

What will happens if I delete the previous IFS Home backups?

We are currently using 22R1, but after applying the 22R2 update we lose the Job Rate Management tab from the Active Work Order screen.  I’m not sure if this is something specific to JRM or if other people have encountered anything similar with other tabs when applying updates.If we try to work around the issue by manually adding the JRM tab to the screen using Page Designer,  we can see that the 2 content items that need to be included in the tab (JobSpecificDetail singleton and JobSpecificDetail group) are no longer available/visible in the updated version to even add.Has anyone else encountered something similar with JRM or maybe even another component/tab in the past?The update deployment logs don’t have any issues regarding this area, and no callouts for concern there either in the pre-update validation.Many thanks in advance for any thoughts or input!Nick

We are using Apps10.I want to add a custom field to the Count per inventory part screen.  When you go to add a custom field you are taken to the the Inventory part in stock custom field page.  The custom field I want to add has already been created in the part in stock screen, but I am not able to show these custom fields in the count screen.I thought it would be as easy as adding the view to approval detailed views and approving it. It allows me to do this.The issue comes when I go back to custom fields and attempt to Synchronise, then the error message below is displayed.  Am I missing something or doing something incorrectly? ThanksDarren

A customer asks, I would like to know whether its a possibility to use the REST API the PSO web app uses (i.e. https://host/IFSPSOWorkbench/api/ResourceScheduling/UpdateActivity)Because I am unable to see the usage for the swagger mentioned apis. So, is this a possibility?

We have very large orders that are set up to ship say freight then the customer needs a specific line shipped via air.  Does anyone know how to set this up without having to move the line to a new Customer Order? We could always update the ship via each time but afraid it may get missed moving back for the remainder of the order.  We are IFS Apps 10. Thanks, Donna

A beautiful good afternoon, I am currently trying to add a column from the receipt_Info view that seems to be somewhat customized. Usually I would use the “SQL Column” from the “System Info” Panel.But this one is not a regular term like “STATE” that can be used there but instead “&AO.[...]API.Decode(&AO.[...]API.[...](a list of parameters from the view)”.Can I integrate that column somehow into the information source and if so how?Best regards,Benny (Edit: typo)
