What’s the best way to cancel a partially authorized Purchase Requisition [Order Code 5] created through Project Misc Demand? 

Hello, If we need some exterior operations from our suppliers, we are using Supplier material For Purchase Order Line module to ship and trace the material that our supplier needs. After reserving the necessary parts, we are using “Print Pick List for Purchase Order” which creates a “Delivery Note for supply parts”. This is great to share the information with our supplier, but sometimes our supplier sends us a Purchase Order for the required material. My question is how can I indicate our supplier’s PO number in the delivery note for supply parts ? Thank you for your help.Baran

I have a supplier invoice that uses posting proposal. Posting proposal is balanced and in “Auth” state.  But my supplier invoice is in Pre|PostedAuth state as below.  When I checked IEE, I can see under Posting Information that there are minus balances in “Balance” and “Balance in Acc Curr” fields. How can I bring this invoice to “PostedAuth” state?

Hello, I am working with a client on an issue where they converted from Apps 7.5 to Apps 10. They ship non-inventory material from one location to another. The shipping location is set as an internal supplier. The customer is an internal customer. The Customer site enters orders using sourcing code (Int Pur Dir). When the CO is released, a PO is created. The PO shows source (Int Cust Dir). Everything so far functions properly. I have not seen any issues with the setup of the internal customer or internal supplier. Both have the proper flags. But somewhere the initial setup missed something. Proof of concept. In Apps 7.5 system, they can still run the process listed above and everything works. Several CO’s were migrated into Apps 10. Those can be processed correctly as well. However, new CO’s in Apps10 will not complete properly. It gets stuck in Register Direct Delivery. In Apps 7.5, the Register Direct Delivery screen shows the Purch Qty to Deliver and the Inv Qty to Deliver.  In the

I have a customer in 23R1 who have all their data for Requests and Resources coming from SAP into IFS Cloud.  All activity types are set to Yes for SPLIT_ALLOWED.  We found out that some activities with long durations never get scheduled in PSO and a technical resource on our team diagnosed the issue as a missing value for SPLIT_ALLOWED in the RES_SHIFT_ATTRIBUTE_TAB.attribute_id = ‘SPLIT_ALLOWED’.  In Resource Attribute Manager, this is a system default attribute, but I don’t see how we can have a value of Yes to populate in PSO Data Load.

I would want to prevent or hold a Purchase requisition from being “Requisition to Order” or “Requisition to Request” when the custom Boolean field “Hold” is checked.At what stage should the the custom event be triggered…Any suggestions ? 

I have a BR report in APPS10 where I’d like to run multiple reports at once. In this example, the report takes a work task number for input and generates several pages for the work task. I’d like to either be able to pass in a list of work task numbers to the report itself or have IFS recursively call the report to produce multiple. Ideally, our end users would like a single combined PDF as well, but I’m not sure if that’s possible in the recursive case.So far, I’ve tried using sheet repeaters when allowing multiple values for work task input, thinking that the sheet repeaters could iterate over the list. This doesn’t seem to work, as the report just returns the design version, with no fields populated.I also tried to dig into the package (XLR_TEMPLATE_UTIL_API) that I think actually executes the reports, but I was struggling to successfully generate a report.Does anyone have thoughts on whether the above points are possible, and if so, how?Thanks!

Hello all, we are currently using IFS MWO Service 10 App Upd 9 (version 10.20.1419.0) and when we tried to use Revise Document it always creates a Failed Transaction and got confirmed from the Community there is a known bug related to Document Revision option.  Since the option is available Mobile Users still tend to use that functionality and trigger Failed Transactions.1. Therefore, would you kindly advise if there is any possibility to hide it from the MWO App and restrict using that option by any Mobile User?Is the bug related Document Revision option is fixed in Cloud version or any IFS APP 10 UPD.? Hi All, We want to take a backup of our Dev environment and then transform our Dev environment to a baseline environment to perform some training, once the training is completed we want to restore the Dev environment to current state using the database back which we have taken. May i know the process to transform our development environment into a baseline environment ?

in mWO Service, with a Workflow Configuration Type Work Task, we are able to report time for tools and complete the assignment for the Tool.  I am not seeing similar functionality if the Workflow Configuration type Configured Work Task.  Do we know if this is a bug or just missing functionality coming in a later release?

Hi,My client is considering to use only Qualifcation Profiles as a first step, since it requires substantial effort and time to harmonize all jobs on a global level.At this point I am trying to find possible disadvantages not using the jobs. As of now, I can see the Job Analysis cannot be used and the Aggregate Gap Analysis (for comparison) might be restricted.Appart from this, do you see any other points to take into consideration? Any help or shared experience is highly appreciated :) KR,Anny

 While implementation work proceeds the customer has been in touch to say that they are unable to connect to REST apis using both Boomi and Postman Web Apps. Is it possible to change the date format to not include time? For example we are trying to change the “Planned Start Date” for a task so that it only requires a data not a date and time.

according to technical document, IFS Cloud is still support CSV plugin for order report. But when we create a rpl file with csv as output file extension. The output is a excel file other than CSV. is it a bug in IFS Cloud? when we use same rpl file, it works fine in IFS 10 version.

Southwest Airlines is interested in understanding how other operators setup tool kits in Maintenix and provide visibility to batch tools that are included in these kits.  We set up Tool kits as assemblies since Maintenix does not have tool kitting capability, and an assembly approach was the best choice provided by IFS at the time.  Tool kits WILL show serialized tools as children of kits, however batched “TOOLS” i.e. sockets, extensions, etc. are NOT showing in kits because they are issued out of stock to be put into the kit.  Batched inventory is never shown as installed on assemblies.The issue we are having is that Technicians do not have visibility to inventory that is contained in these kits.  We often have to AOG parts, when in reality the inventory was in kits that were in stock.  Southwest Airlines is curious how other operators are managing this gap in functionality.  We are at creating an external database to track the batch parts contained in a tool kit, but this is not idea

In 23R1, I see that the Dataset screen has a tab at the bottom for parameters, but it is not enabled to add rows in the customer’s environments.  How is the entry of new rows enabled?  The customer wants to enable url links to IFS Cloud pages directly from the scheduling workbench, and I’ve told that this is where it can be done.  Is there documentation about this feature?

Hi ExpertsI have in App10 update 15 a wierd behaviour. when i Print the reminder the system somethimes fetches the wrong title. Below you see a invoice which is on level 1 and gets the Titel “Letzte Mahnung”.if i check the reminder template translation title is should come “Zahlungserinnerung” but in this case the system fetched for the invoice level 1 the Reminder Title from Level 3 funny thing is that the reminder text is correct thoughI also checkt that the customer has defined in the customer data the correct template 1 does anyone has an idea what the issue is?

When we import IFS e-Invoices then sometimes the file cannot be found. This means when the invoice gets created the file must be attached to the posting proposal manually. This is a awful lot of work when you receive more than 50 invoice a day. the result is that you dont have a pdf attached to the posting proposal which makes the creation of the posting very difficult.I assume this has to do with the release of 22R1. HISome customers which are in the process to upgrade to V15.4 are asking the following : in V14.5  (or trough the astea browser in V15) you were able to open  for example in the customer support qbe  the customer support selected in a new tab  in the web employee portal in V15.4SU5 we can’t do this or we don’t know how to do this or perhaps it will be in a future SU ?thanks for your feedbackChristophe
