Fetching calendar information when adding a user to a resource group

Hi all,,

kindly provide your thoughts on the below scenario.

When adding a person to a resource group, what is the requirement to be fulfilled to automatically fetch the calendar information as shown in the image?

@Hasani Aparna It is possible to create a Resource Id for a person using the following assistant, when you do so you can add the Calendar for the resource. Then after when you add the Person to the Resource Group, the Calendar is fetched accordingly.

Service Management > Request Management > Basic Data > Resource Basic Data > New Service Resource

 

If the person is already having added to a Resource Id, use the following page for modifications

Resource Management > Resource > Resource Individuals

Furthermore you can change the calendar for already added resource id (Type = Person) in Resource Details (Query for the Resource Id and Resource Id = Person) General tab.

Note: When a Person is added to a Resource Id in the Persons tab of Resource Details, a Resource ID is automatically created and it can be queried in Resource Details or can be navigated to using the navigator in the Resource Details page.

When the calendar is setup using above methods, the calendar is automatically fetched when the Person is added to the Resource in Resource Details, Persons tab.

Thank you so much for the reply. When the first method is followed, Is the calendar information added from here? But when a calendar is added there, it does not allow to save. Could you please assist?
