Hei All, We noticed that when creating a Customer Invoice in IFS, all documents attached to the corresponding Customer Order are automatically copied to the invoice. Is there a way to restrict this behavior, for example by Document Class or through another configuration?Regards,Sri

Is it possible to search on Service Groups in FSM beyond level A?We have our service regions in Org Service Group B in Place as shown below.However when you put the Org Service Group B field on the search pane on the Place screen and try to use it the dropdown displays a small black vertical line only as shown below. It should display the active Grp Level B values form the code table below.  What I did notice is tha if you place Org Service Group A on the search, the dropdown displays all active code values regardless of group level. So I can select “Scotland” for example, which is a Group B level however the search returns no results given the application is searching Org Service Group A for a value that is held in Org Service Group B  So it would appear that searching for anything other than level A is not supported - unless there is a workaround.I hope that makes sense.Thanks,Barry

Hello,is there a way to include the copy of report codes when creating a new company form the template company? We think  this is arranged in the component registration but how can see whether it's activated? below we see it is activated however report codes are not copied from template company to new company: 

The scenario is, external customer places an order at the demand site, with the supply code “Inter Purch Direct”.  The purchase order is sent to the supply site, and the internal customer order is created. The supply code of the internal customer order is “Purch Order Direct”, which means the supply site also buys from an external supplier. When this order is processed, the standard way is that first the PO of the supply site is completed through “register direct delivery” and then internal customer order will be delivered. I want to add a Navigation command group on a sub-section of Inventory Part On Hand Development.  In the screenshot below, the “header” section has an option for Commandgroups (yellow), but the sub-section that contains all of the information, Inventory Part Onhand Develop List, does not have an option for Commandgroups (red line).  Is it possible to add a Command group here?

Hi,I use IFS Cloud (Application service update: 23.2.1).I create a new file type in the EDM basic data. This is for the .stp Extension (3D Files from CAD)Then I use this new file type when creating a new document revision. When I try to approve the revision, I have this message :“The number of PDF files and/or the combination of view and original files on this document is invalid for PDF signature and certification. If you are an end-user, talk to your system administrator. If you are calling this API from code, check your data or consider using the more specific method to sign your PDF file.”This file type is not PDF so I don’t want (and I can’t) use e-sign for this file.I use several document class to test and the result is the same.If I use a already created file type, this OK, I can validate it without any problems. Does somebody have any ideas about this issue ?Thanks for your feedback if you have same issue.Nicolas.

I’m testing new 25R1 functionality “Data Access Control” and creating a simple ACL that prevents users from modifying specific records in an Entity (in my case in AbcClass).I’m able to set condition on attribute AbcClass and that prevent ALL users from editing record for Class A but I want to add condition that some users (or user groups) are allowed to do that.So - I’m trying to use “Predefined Parameters” SESSION_USER and SESSION_USER_IN_GROUPS but in that case, “Save” button is not activated for some reason.Question is how those “Predefined Parameters” can be used? We just upgraded our MT OS in a remote cloud with 24R2After reboot of the OS, the MT is completely out of service: all the pods are in unknow statusso I went to the procedure of MT delete an MT installer and everything is up and running. Is there any way to properly shut down the kubernetes pods to avoid this issue ?Best regards

Hi All, Currently, we are trying to enable public access to the application. However, when accessing it from a local machine, the URL is showing as unsecure, and the certificate CN is different—the one listed belongs to the ingress.  When accessing the application via the Management server or through the private network (by routing directly to the Middle Tier private IP), the application works fine.Has anyone experienced this kind of issue previously?

Hello! I’m supposed to build a new delivery for an IFS10 customer, but for some reason I cannot seem to open the IFS Config Builder 10 tool at all. I’ve tried on multiple different machines, but the issue seems to persist. I also tried to download the latest version from developer.ifs.com, but get the same error. Opening the IfsConfigBuilder.exe immediately crashes, and no program is opened. I have a query regarding the Change Order window.There is no field to check the Performed Date and Completed Date for an Engineering Change Order. Below is where the CO Approved Date and Analyzed Date can be checked. We need to know where the Performed Date and Completed Date can be found.Could you please suggest or advise on this issue?  

Just upgraded to 25R1 SU3 and I wanted to do a quick test of the this new widget.Company announcements work fine alone, but if I try to enable the following special event for the same company if fails with date not valid for month specified. Has anyone else had similar issues? Hi.We have a custom field called Remaining Hours in Activity Resource Planning that calculates Planned Hours - Reported Hours into a new field. The query works fine for the most part, but we’ve noticed an issue with the field though, where if there are multiple reports under the same Resource Group, but with different Report Codes (e.g WORK & TRAVEL), one of the rows will not calculate properly.Resource Group 11117 with 2 different report codes, not calculating remaining hours properly for the 2nd row.The query itself is as follows:SELECT (CASE WHEN Qty_Planned IS NOT NULL AND Qty_Used IS NOT NULL THEN (QTY_PLANNED - QTY_USED) ELSE Qty_Planned END)From ACTIVITY_RESOURCE_PROJWHERE RESOURCE_ID=:RESOURCE_ID AND ACTIVITY_SEQ=:ACTIVITY_SEQ Any help with a solution to this issue would be greatly appreciated.Thank you!

We use Expenses in IFS Apps 10 Aurena and are moving to IFS Cloud.  The Add Transactions section has the option to copy object rows - but you cannot seem to paste them anywhere in the Transactions Section?  I cannot understand why IFS would provide the Copy option, if you cannot then Paste.  Am I missing something or have IFS just forgotten to finish this process?  Or was it in the too difficult section? Any advice would be welcome.Thanks Trudy 

I am migrating my IFS 10 database from Oracle 12G to 19C using the export import method (along with other steps to convert the database).  After migrating the database to a new server, I ran the “Prepare Database” step from the IFS Build on the new application server.  After that process completes (without any errors), I am trying to do a simple query from the database:Select * from customer_info as the IFSAPP user.  When doing this, I receive an ORA-01031:  Insufficient privileges error. Any idea what the issue might be?

Hi, I would like to update the list price in the view SALES_PART with the data migration. When i try, i have the same message on everyline when i launch the MIGRATE_SOURCE_DATA: ORA-20122: SalesPart.UPDATE: Field [CATALOG_TYPE] in Sales Part may not be modified. The value of [CATALOG_TYPE] is ‘NON’. Is it possible to proceed so ? Thank’s Julien.    

Hello community, I made setup of two Sales Parts per one Inevenotry Part:I did it because different Sales UoM.  My issue is, that I´m not able to add the second part to Customer Agreement. First issue is that Cloud not allows me to add the Part int Sales Part Base Price. And it is probably because of the same Inventory Part. I tried to creat new Sales Part via copy and let Cloud to creat new Inventory Part as well. It allows me to add this part into Sales Part Base Prices → into Customer Agreement. Can you somebody help? (IFS Cloud 24.2.9) Thank you very muchJiri 

Hello All, I’ve been trying to add some additional languages in a customer environment.I have added them from the BuildPlace: Pull Request was created automatically. I approved the merge to master and run sanity check + created delivery. Delivery was deployed to CFG, but I still don’t see the translations. In Used Languages only EN appears to have translations. Is there some step that I missed? Do I also need to download the language files and commit them in GIT in some folder?I was hoping this is done automatically when the delivery is applied. 

Hey all,We have successfully been using an external file template to import Manual Supplier Invoices (with authorized postings) for over a year. But for the first time we are needing to create an invoice that uses EUR instead of USD, and so obviously employs a currency conversion rate that is not 1.0000.I am able to make the invoice create with EUR as the currency, but I was still forcing a conversion rate of 1.0000. So, the invoice is created, but is obviously incorrect and has to be canceled and completely re-created.My next try was to leave currency rate null (blank in the text file), thinking IFS would go get the rate the same way it would when entering an invoice in IEE. This resulted in a file load error: Net Amount does not match Net Amount in Accounting Currency for Item No 1. I cannot get much detail on just what exactly IFS is trying to do or what is wrong. And I do not know what values to convert so that IFS thinks things balance, because it seems to do that automatically wh
