In previous IFS versions we were able to see the value of Closed (status) Lost (state) sales quotations in the Sales Quotations view.  In current version 25R1 the total net prices for lost quotations is 0.00 even if there are product lines with values in the lost quotation. Current versions still show values for Closed and Won quotations. Is this is a bug or a change that have been requested? This affect negatively the possibility to deep dive into analyzing sales quotations and specially the lost ones. We have thousands of annual quotations to analyze, and it is not practical to open each quotation separately and combining the quotation value in excels...

Is this possible?The reason I’m asking is that when the part description is too long, the text wraps onto another line, which shifts the Part No. down by one line. Hi all,where can a Package part number actually be used?We trying to use a Package Part in the material Tab of a Request Work Task, but does not seem to work.It cant be added as a sales part in a contract line of a Request Contract as well.Can this somehow be used in anything else than a direct Customer Order?Thanks,

I believe the source is the Lease accounting contract, but I cannot seem to find a section there that has pre-posting details. I would appreciate it if anyone could point me to the right direction.

Dear Team,We are having a situation, where business never executes the capitalization before and from 2026 January they have a prject with periodical capitalization setup and when we try to create periodical capitalization for period 1, with proceedure id created for accounting year 2026 and P01. However, system picks the cost transactions from previous year, as there are some manual postings posted last year.Is it normal behaviour of system, even though we have given accoutning year and period in the proceedure id, system still picks some cost postings from previous year that was not capitalized?

Hi all,I have a question regarding the possibilities of BPA. We have a customer that would like to see an informative message if some conditions are met. This means we are going to compare two values and if they are different from each other we want to inform the user of this. In BPA we have the Validate type which can be used to perform a validation. Except when using the “Terminate End Event” in the workflow the workflow will block the user from saving the record as this is an error message. Is there another way to do this validation, but not to show an error message but an informative message? Because we still want to save the change. Since the check is on a custom attribute, I found out that a custom event on the custom field table with online SQL is not working. The Client_Sys.Add_Info is not working in that case. That is the reason we are looking at BPA as a solution.  Kind regards,Michael 

We are evaluating using 3 part numbers for our rebuilt parts process instead of using a Condition Code enabled single part: a part number for NEW, CORE and REBUILT. The part can only be rebuilt a finite number of times thus serialization is required.Parts received from a customer via an RMA as well as parts that are remanufactured in-house using a remanufacturing shop order trigger the automatic rename of the serial that was implemented with the introduction of the Serial Lifecycle Group functionality.But the majority of CORES are not rebuilt in-house but are sent out instead to a supplier on a normal Purchase Order as Supplied Material. When I try to receive the REBUILT part using the same serial number as the CORE the following error message is triggered:Does anybody know what issue types and receipt types are supported for the auto-rename of a serial to work when the Serial Lifecycle Group has been configured for a Purchase order Receipt:Thanks for your insights!

Hi,  I have a requirement which is to be able to trigger multiple surveys on MWO using the same Workflow Type. E.g have Survey 1 then Survey 2 then Survey 3 trigger on MWO after “Completed - After”.  When I’ve tried this with the the surveys all assigned to the same step to trigger. MWO selects only one of the surveys to trigger which is not correct for my use case as I want ALL surveys to trigger one after another. Is there anyway to do this for with the Workflow Configuration Type = “Request Task”? (IFS Cloud 25R2) The workaround for this would be to create a main survey for Survey 1 and then Survey 2 and 3 as child surveys. Thought I’d check here in case there’s a better way. 

I have just created two requests in IFS-Cloud, the first one via API, the second one via screen.Both requests are identencial (besides of the starting time).Both requests are scheduled in future (07.03.2026). Both requests in the future raise the same execptions (they are marked as green)Why is the exception type raised: “Planned activity in Jeopardy” with more then 17.000 minutes? What das the exception type “Externally violated constraints” mean? How can I fix them? What do I have to insert where to get rid of these exceptions?Please give me some hints.

Hello,  when I open IFS Report Designer → Choose Report Id, how could I know what table/view it is in Oracle SQL Developer? I want open it based on layout name, but I dont know report id.  

We have recently upgrade to 25R2, and there are few screens added recently Service>Scheduling>Resources, Activities, Map, Assistance but unable to see any data in these screens.I can access the PSO and can see all the resources activities etc but these screens are blank.Any idea on the above, thanks!!  

IFS Cloud 25R1 On a Person Resource Group Requirements tab, I have specified the Requirements along with a Requirement Source , Requirement ID, and Requirement Value.In the Resource Requirement Analysis screen, the fulfillment by Resource correctly specifies whether the Resources fulfil the Criteria. None, Partially of FullWhen I create a Work Task and assign the Task to a Resource that does not fulfill the requirement criteria, there is no system message to prevent or warn that the Work Task Assignment should not go ahead due to the Resource not fulfilling the Resource Requirement criteria.Is there a standard function in IFS to provide a warning / error message when the resource being assigned does meet the Resource Requirement criteria ?  

I’m getting reports from Technicians using Mobile Edge (Astea Mobile), on Android devices with 0s 16, unable to select Astea Mobile from Play Store and getting message “This app isn't available for your device because it was made for an older version of Android” Has anyone else encountered this problem, or know of a solution? Hello All,I have a customer requirement, where they want to run a periodical capitalization and revenue recognition. However, they do not want to reverse the revenue recognition postings on next period rather they want to keep calculating and posting the revenue to be recignized on the periodical basis.Ultimately, they are looking for the result fo monthly report and yearly report for revenue recognized for a long term projects which has ifecycle of minimum 3 years?I know IFS standard functionality, will always reverse the previous period voucher and calculate again cumulative amount to be recongnized. but did anyone has similar kind of requirement and solution suggestion for this?ThanksRaj

Hi, Im trying to pass a timestamp parameter into an IFS API call in a workflow. But keep getting the data type conversion error as below. I create the timestamp of sysdate in a javascript task(“Set Sysdate”) and then trying to set it into a variable which is then set into API payload. Could there be any other way to set the parameter other than like ${CurrDate} in this scenario?    Thanks,Regards,Methshika

I’m trying to create an export template but I cannot seem to add criteria successfully. The module I want to use with the export contains thousands of entries so adding the criteria is essential. The export template does not seem to use the search results on the screen which happens when you use the straight “export” function. Running every different option to try and get the criteria, with brackets, without brackets, using “ “ , using = vs IS , all seem to result in a system error. The plain, un filtered template works just fine as per the pic. It’s just the criteria that trips me up, any help or ideas is welcome

When multi-level tracking is required on Lot/Batch enabled parts, there are scenarios where standard quantity of a component in the product structure is not truly required to complete the produced part, for example it would OK to issue 9.8 pounds of flour instead of 10.  Or perhaps the component quantities are not discrete, rather going out several decimal places in quantity required, for example a component UOM is pounds.  And as long as the actual amount issued is close to this it would be OK.  With Multi-level tracking turned on, none of these scenarios are possible, as the tracked structure requires all the required quantity to be reserved or issued, or the tracked structure is not complete.  Has anyone found work-arounds for this? I am thinking it might require a modfication to change the validations to allow some level of tolerance around quantity issued versus qty required.
