Hi,

Can someone explain me how the tolerance defined under Maintenance Triggers works for Conditioned based PM Actions?

I entered the measurement where the relevant (Planned Value - recorded measurement) / Recorded measurement value is greater than the defined Tolerance %. But nothing changes in the PM Plan.

So I need to check on this functionality to use it with Replacements + PM Grouping for a business scenario.

Thank you!

Hi,

The calculation is like below.
Tolerance = (Planned Value – Last Measurement at Maintenance)/Planned Value *100%

Planed Value is the Planned Value in the MP line where the Work Order is generated.

Last Measurement at Maintenance is the latest measurement which has been reported before the Actual Finish date of the last work task (Last Work Task Completion Date in the MP line)

When you complete (Work Done) the last work task of the work order,
-    if calculated tolerance > defined tolerance then plan will be recalculated based on the last measurement at maintenance
-    if calculated tolerance =< defined tolerance then plan will NOT be recalculated.

The idea is like, if the last measurement when you do the work is not deviated that much from the planned value then keep the existing plan. If it is deviated a lot then adjust the plan according to the last measurement.
