Hi All, I’m sure some here can help me.I’m in page designer as the user has requested that a field is set as ‘on’ by default.When I open up page designer, go to the field and scroll to the Default Value it is wanting a Value to be entered - what value do I need to enter to make sure it is ‘on/selected’?Thanks in advance for help received, Sarah

When I use the milestone/staged payment, my invoices doesn’t shows up in “Invoiced Purchase Orders”. My order P8933 is using Milestones and these lines are matched with the supplier invoices. As seen below lines are in state “Invoiced”:But when looking in “Invoiced Purchase Orders”, this order will not show up. Only orders which I have matched using a receipt/arrival are there. The PO is received and closed. Am I doing something wrong? 

My Org is looking to implement mWO for internal maintenance tasks, and we want to be able to automate the transfer to mobile process so an incoming fault report can be put into the pool quickly and without supervisor intervention (faults can occur on 2nd/3rd shift and there aren’t always supervisors then). Seemingly the only option for this is scheduling Transfer Work Assignments to Mobile task to run every 15 minutes.when one manually transfers to mobile, there are the two sliders for pool and pool-keep, how can the database task Transfer Work Assignments to Mobile be configured to do either? Specify the “Allocated_To” setting as “pool”?(I also wish the transfer window option wasn’t “beginning of time until today plus x days”)or is there an API call I can make with a workflow or pl/sql event action to transfer on fault report creation vs. the scheduled task? I can’t find any obvious APIs to use for this.

Hi All,I would like to ask if it is possible to - Run PMRP to create only purchase requisitions on the activities without creating Material Transfer requests between the activities if already items are available in the Project inventory. for e.g. Activity A has the requirement of Part ABC for X Qty Activity B already has Part ABC for Y Qty where X>=Y, but there is no current requirement of the part ABC.in the above scenario, if I Run PMRP then in place of creating PR on Activity A, PMRP will create MTR between Activities between B and A. but the user doesn’t want that. So is there any set-up that I can stop triggering MTR and only create fresh purchase requisition for Activity A while there is already the Same Part qty existing on Activity B?Kind regards,

Hi All,I have been exploring the new Contractor Management solution in 25R1 for Request Tasks. I like the idea of creating the PO Lines based on actual reported items like time reported of the contractor. There are multiple customers who have modifications for that in the Work Order solution.But I am supprised to see that in the Release Notes there is a restriction. Which makes it not possible to send the Request Task to the mobile of the Subcontractor Resource...Mobile Work Order for Service Contractor Resources. It is not possible to utilize Mobile Work Order for Service Contractor Resources. Any Request Work Task that is assigned to a Service Contractor cannot be transferred to mobile. I am looking for the reason why this restriction is build in?I have customers who wants to have both their own employees and subcontractors to work with the same mobile Service MWO Solution. But that is not possible for subcontracted orders, as described in the Release Restrictions and by my own test

Hello, we are upgrading from 11.5 to 11.8.4 and I’m testing the creation of a form, process, stage notification email (smartmail) using action processor.  when I try to close the task before the notification stage in the process, this error appears:  The Action Type 'SENDMAIL_GEDS_ATIP' is invalid for Event Type 'CHANGE'. One or more of the above errors was generated attempting to create Task Events from the process 'undefined'. There may be a configuration issue preventing you from progressing this process. If you are not sure why this is happening, please contact your administrator for further assistance.Bear in mind that the old ones from 11.5 work and I just recreated it from an old action type that does work.I believe I’ve checked everything I can to make this work.  It’s not live yet, were still in the testing stages and need to have this working before we go live.

Just wondering if anyone knows an exact date when support for IFS cloud 24R1 ends. I can see the last SU (SU23) was released last week and I am currently testing 25R1 through the business in our test environment. Just need to get a steer on how long I can take for testing before I need to deploy to production so I am not out of support

When IFS Support staff need to access PRD or UAT in Cloud Managed Services, should they be issued a generic admin username and password so they can investigate problems with ease or should a company set up a new username and password for each IFS support person along with relevant permissions to enable them to investigate each specific issue? How does each option impact the license agreement, for which the customer is responsible?

We are experiencing a strange client error after our upgrade to 25R2. A client error “cannot read properties of null” appears after saving a record in a list or assistant. The save operation finishes, though. But in an assistant the client error still blocks the flow because the page has to be reloaded or abandoned. Reading the failing code in the console in developer tools, it seems to be related to reading the home pages for entities, constructing URLs for those. It only appears for certain permission sets though, but we cannot figure out exactly what is missing. Any clues?

Hi I am looking into a business scenario where we are using project inventory and as a business we need to capture the material consumption cost to the project.Reality material will be stored in a remote location as Project inventory.HTo capture the cost we are planning to issue the material to a workorder using “unplanned material issue” functionality.Work order is connected to the same project activity that the project inventory is connected to. But upon issue of the material via the work order and consumption cost is not moving to the Project monitoring page.I cannot identify how much is consumed at a given time.Anyone worked on a similar situation?Does IFS has a limitation to capture the consumption when project inventory is in used? ThanksChamath

We have setup a report based on a quick information source - Business Reporter and Quick Report.  The query looks like below. The issue is - the results do not yield the end-user who is running the report. We are currently working to implement a single device policy for mWO usage since we have issues with technicians swapping to different devices in the middle of some operations, which causes sync issues.We are attempting to use iPads, but the issue we are running into does seem to apply to iPhones, Androids, and iPads all alike.When we implement our device policy on the iPads, then use mWO, everything seems to work ok, until we go to attach a document to a Work Assignment.  We do this frequently, typically it is a file that we pull from the equipment we are working on with a laptop.  We then upload that document to OneDrive and intend to attach it to the assignment that way.But now that we are implementing Intune, the button that lets us choose which file picker to use in mWO is completely missing.  It should be between the image file chooser and the camera button.  Both mWO and OneDrive are coming from our Company Portal rather than the App Store.  We have attempted to adjust a number

I’m testing new 25R1 functionality “Data Access Control” and creating a simple ACL that prevents users from modifying specific records in an Entity (in my case in AbcClass).I’m able to set condition on attribute AbcClass and that prevent ALL users from editing record for Class A but I want to add condition that some users (or user groups) are allowed to do that.So - I’m trying to use “Predefined Parameters” SESSION_USER and SESSION_USER_IN_GROUPS but in that case, “Save” button is not activated for some reason.Question is how those “Predefined Parameters” can be used?
