In our flat sheet processing dept we run multiple parts per sheet (nesting).  So the employee will Start Production on multiple Shop Orders (same WC on Shop Orders).  Example:  Employee is working on 3 Shop Orders.  Total time = 3 hoursCurrently 3 hours is added to each Shop Order for a total of 9 hoursWe would like to to split the time either evenly across (1 hour for each Shop Order) or split up based on qty/est.  I’m sure there is a set up we are missing, but I’ve been searching for an answer without luck.We are on Cloud 23.1.7Thank you, in advance for your help.JoyGCX

Hello,I want to create a monthly event for items due to expire within the next 6 months, firslty how would I just display items where the expiry date is in the next 6 months and then how would I add all those items shortcodes into a remarks field? May be missing something obvious here but data only shows when I add the [0] at the end of the variable.Thanks

Hey, Here’s the situation, wondering if anyone has any insight that could help ?: I have a Single Step Assistant based on a Structure (not a Virtual), with a Single OK CommandThis Assistant is made of Groups that contains fields based on the Structure Attribute, and also a List which is based on an Entity and is Using a Function to get populated with some parameters present in the Structure.  My Process command in the Assistant basically takes one of the values in the structure and populates/refreshes all other fields, including OrderNo, ReleaseNo, SequenceNo. Once executed populated, this allows the List element to properly get populated with the data I have my button also do a RefreshDb instruction , like this:  Here’s the problem: Everything works fine at first, the list populates based on the parameters.However, when I hit the button again, if anything in one of the fields in the list has changed, it does NOT update client side. The call is made to the server (seen with the IFS Dev

Hi all,We currently have two different companies using Business Opportunities and CRM in IFS Apps 10.Is it possible to restrict Business Opportunities so that users only see records associated with their own company or site — while allowing managers or admin users access to all companies/sites?We’ve seen this kind of access control seems possible in IFS Cloud, but we haven’t been able to replicate it in Apps 10.Example:Joe Bloggs is assigned to TestCompany1. When he opens Business Opportunities, he should only see TestCompany1’s opportunities — not any from TestCompany2. However, a manager or admin should be able to see both.Is this kind of filtering possible in Apps 10? If so, how can we set it up?Thanks in advance!

As part of a redesign of one warehouse we are looking for a way to have a single Kanban pull result in a two-step material move that can be handled by WADACO.The situation is that production cells trigger the kanban, pulling material from the warehouse.  However for the new warehouse design the material must be picked from the warehouse locations and put into a single staging location, and then a separate move needs to be done from the staging location to the production cell.Is there a way to handle this natively inside IFS, accurately reflecting the true material locations and without any of the warehouse team waiting on material that is not yet in staging?  We use Transport Tasks today so that’s where we’ve been focusing to try to solve but maybe there is a different approach?If there’s no standard way to achieve this in IFS, the best thought I have at this time is as follows but it seems like overkill:Use an event to kill any Transport Task that gets created to pull from the new war

In 25R1, when creating a new Opportunity the Company field defaults to the User’s default Company.In my solution, I want the End User to be able to see a blank Company field and select the Company from a list rather than defaulting to the User’s default Company.I looked at using Page Designer but cannot see any options there.Any ideas ?  

The intention is to change the Task Card Description, Subtask Description, and Maintenance Code Description lengths from the standard 60 characters to 200 characters across all pages where these fields are used.For instance, on the Subtasks page, the MaxLength value for the Subtask Description column in the Subtasks List element was modified from 60 to 200 in the Page Designer. However, during testing, the Subtask Description field still remains limited to 60 characters.  Kindly advise why this change is not being applied as expected.

When creating a bookmark for the Maintenance > Equipment > Tools and Equipment page in IFS Cloud 24R1 environment, it opens the Service > Equipment > Tools and Equipment page instead. Steps to reproduce:Navigate to Tools and Equipment via Maintenance > Equipment > Tools and Equipment. Add a bookmark on the Tools and Equipment page. Navigate to another page or log out and log back in. Select the saved bookmark.Can this be identified as a defect?If not, can the service entry be removed from the Navigation designer?

When changing the label name of the fields in the Address Assistance window using Page designer, the changes are not reflecting in the assistance window.Steps :Navigate to Application Base Setup → Enterprise → Supplier → Address. Then go to General Address Information and click on the 'Pen' icon to open the Assistance Window.  Can anyone advice on this? Is this a bug or any basic data missing?

Hello.I’m trying to understand an event action but some informations I need are missing.So basically, we have a custom event which sends an email with an attached PDF file but the PDF file needs a review.This is the custom event that I could find :  But how is generared the PDF file? As I’m now discovering IFS cloud, I think we are on 24R2, by clicking on technical documentation on the main menu, the 24R2 version is selected by default.

Dear experts,The customer wanted to receive 1 qty to inventory which is the same as the PO quantity. However, the inventoried quantity is 8 which is greater than the expected by 7. Please see the below.Additionally, Purchase UoM and Inventory UoM are the same, and the inventory conversion factor in the PO line is 1. The receipt cannot be canceled currently.Need to know the reason for this and a perfect solution to remove the excess qty.Cheers,  

Hello ExpertsIs it possible to upload an attachment for the external supplier invoices via FTP? the invoices get uploaded via external supplier invoice Assistant (not through ifs connect). In the upload file i can enter the path of the document which needs to be attached. How do I manage it via FTP since i cannot enter an FTP path. This concerns APP10. in CLOUD there is an routing address which can upload an document and create an image file. this image file gets stored and viewable under the external supplier invoice Documents. in App 10 i dont have such a window nor a routing address which uploads document as an image.Best RegardsSophal

I have an alternate component set up and the product structure has the Alternate Exist checkbox checked on the component line.  There is no inventory of the original part and there is inventory of the alternate component part.  But when I try to process a shop order the Alternate Exist checkbox is not checked on the shop order and when I right mouse on the line and choose Alternate component/replace, I get an error that No alternate component is defined or component qty required is zero, but that is not true, what am I missing? 

Hi Experts,If I return a serial from a serial object(Service Object) and then try to reinstall the same using a request task, the option we had in work order functionality (Place serial in equipment structure) could not find. Is there a different way to perform this?. How can I again make the serial ‘In operation’? Anyone tried this or has any input please?Thank you,Roshan

In IFS Cloud, we have serialized subcomponents set to Manual Issue so that the manufacturing team can issue the components as they are installed on the assembly. The challenge is that sometimes the team under-issues the required quantity, since Manual Issue allows the shop order to progress without fully issuing the required qty.Is there a standard setting or configuration in IFS Cloud that would prevent under-issuing, so that the team must issue the full required quantity before closing (or finishing) the shop order — while still keeping Manual Issue as the issue method?

In IFS Developer Studio, I’ve got one module with a few entities and a couple utilities in it. The utilities depend on the entities, but when I try to create a topic environment, it’s not deploying in the correct order. FSM's customer recently upgraded from 6U25 to 6U27. The environment is hosted on-premise.After the upgrade, the customer attempted to activate a mobile user. Upon entering the mobile user credentials, the process directed to the sync screen as usual. However, the activation process did not conclude and became stuck on the sync screen.During the investigation, we observed that the "person_mobile" record is created for the individual being activated.However, we found that the mobile database is not successfully being created on the FSM server for the user in question.Could you please share insights into possible causes for this issue? The database has not been properly created in the mobiledb folder
