Hello, I have a question regarding stopping users from making transactions in a prior period after the date as passed.Ideally, I'm looking to see if IFS can support stopping any back-dated transactions in a prior period like a Shipment after the date has pasted in that period.Example: If the current date is 6/1/24 and the period ends on 5/31/24. Any shipment that is attempted to be dated with a 5/31/24 date or earlier should not be allowed.We would like to prevent any inventory/labor/shipment etc. transactions from taking place after the end of the period, while allowing for Journal entries to continue as needed.Wondering if there is a Company or Accounting setting I could be missing or if this level of granularity exists in IFS Cloud.

We have been trying to use the substitution keywords to get a mailto link to send to customers through an action template that sends an email to our mailboxreader/etm This is mostly working, we can get the  event reference in the subject line,  but cannot get the substitution keywords to populate the body of the mailto. we have tried a few things and its so close but just doesnt put the subject/body in the right place, seems to not be picking up the ? correctly if we do  this it works great, without a body of the email<vtl>#set($eventLink = "mailto:XXX@test.com?subject=Approved Ref:")</vtl><a href="$eventLink$new.event.formattedReference">approve</a> to try to get the body in we tried<vtl>#set($eventLink = "mailto:XXX@test.com?subject=Approved Ref:")</vtl><vtl>#set($eventLink2 = "?body= Approved%0A%0DAdd%20Additional%20comments%20below%20if%20required")</vtl><a href="$eventLink$new.event.formattedReference$eventLink2">approve</a&

Hello,I am currently trying to run IFS Business Reporter and learn some of the basic, but when I try to pull data from my information sources, I have nothing returning. However, in IFS Cloud there are balances and data in the sources I’m pulling from. I’ve tried multiple different account type but always return a zero value. Is there some permission or setting somewhere in IFS that I need to update? Also, whenever I am putting in row repeaters, the only way that I can get any data at all to return to me is if I select the ALL checkbox on my Design Row Options. This isn’t what is described in the IFS Business Reporter training. Lastly, whenever I am trying to use the sheet repeater, a report that was otherwise working will break and no new sheets are created. Even if it’s an information source that I have already confirmed returns a value in other testing. 

Hello community, I have a question about family configuration management. I would like to know if in IFS, is it possible that we define options that condition the choice of other options?  As an example, supposing that we have 3 configutared parts for a phantom part (upper level) with a family configuration of 3 caracteristics; Color → options value C1 and C2Size→ options value S1 and S2Door→ options value D1 and D2 Part A→ with characterictics rules C1 and S1 and D1Part B→ with characterictics rules C2 and S1 and D2Part C→ with characterictics rules C2 and S2 and D2 What i want is, as soon as i choose value C1 for color, IFS do not display me anymore S2 and D2 as values to choose on other caractestics(size and door) in configuration creation menu by noticing that there is no such an option possible. Do not hesitate if my question is not clear enough. Thanks for your answers in advance Best regards  

Hi,I try to return a loan using the assistant “Create Return Material Authorization”, but I can’t see the line to be returned. I used this feature to return the asset at a different site with the new functionality in IFS Cloud. Note that it doesn’t work neither when we use “Return to Own Site” option.I wonder if the assistant is enabled to rental returns, and if the mentioned enhancement has been limited to sales only and disabled to outbound rentals.

Do other operators have a way they prevent the purchase and receipt of banned parts? Specific inventory at the P/N and S/N level.

Dear community, I wonder if the following is possible? any ideas would be great. Create PR and Convert to PO for non-part line Create WO on serial object Connect PO created in Step 1 to Work Order so costs can be captured on the Work Order?I know you can peg the Material Req demand to existing PO “manual pegging” but this is for non-inventory part or non part coded items. Any help would be great. Thanks.David

We a getting several zero quantity records in Inventory Value per period where total inventory value is not zero.  I understand that the ROUNDDIFF transactions should balance these out at the end of the period but we are NOT getting ROUNDDIFF transactions.  We use the Inventory value per period screen as an audit record for inventory in stock.  Auditors do not like when zero * zero equals a dollar amount that is not zero at the end of the period.  SO I have a few questions:What are others doing for audit records of inventory values? If it is the inventory value per period screen, how are you explaining the total inventory value amounts when all quantities are zero What do you do when no ROUNDDIFF records are created?

Once an inventoried material is added to either Serial Object or Functional Object under the Spare Parts tab, how do you then select that material when you are in a Work Order under the Materials tab?

I have seen a couple of other users raise this question but these were some time ago and the answers not really conducive to our environment.  I wonder if there has been any development on this for either Apps9 or in Cloud.   Our Scenario is that we ‘buy’ a KIT from our supplier and that is what we are invoiced for.  What we put into stock are 150 separate inventory parts.  So, yes, a reverse of the Customer Order/Sales ‘Package Parts’  functionality.  Any thoughts/suggestions gratefully received!

In a Service Order for the open activity you can swith on “Long Duration Activity” for activities with a longer duration then the shift of the engineer. In Disptach Console, you see the actvity split over multiple days. But in the work order in Mobile Edge, the engineer only sees 1 activity.How can the engineer enter the travel and activity executed on both days like indicated in DC?first day: start travel - start work - stop work second day: start travel - start work - stop work - resolve order

Hello,We use IFS Enterprise Explorer 9.0.20.0 in our company. We would like to append static PDF files to the reports generated in purchase order part. Even though I searched for a solution on the community, I couldn’t find any usfeul information. Attached are the screens that show up during report generation. Any help is appreciated.
