I'm working on a workflow that involves approval steps. At this moment I want to use the approval steps that one can setup per DocMan/Approval Template. I have no problem in the workflow to get the information on an approval template: [myServer]/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/ApprovalTemplateHandling.svc/ApprovalProfileSet(ProfileId='[myProfileId]')However what I want to retrieve is the list of steps that are connected to the approval template. This is retrievable, when one tries via the URL as follows:[myServer]/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/ApprovalTemplateHandling.svc/ApprovalProfileSet(ProfileId='[myProfileId]')/TemplateArrayAt that moment I notice all the steps that are connected to the approval template ‘header'.My question is: How to I use an IFS Projection to read the set of data in task in BPA/Workflow with the /TemplateArray as hardcoded list retriever?

Hi, I generated a WO from a Service Contract and noticed that the Customer is empty. The PM that I used is linked to a Work task Template, and the Work Task Templates DO have the Customer on there. So why do the Work Tasks have the customer, but the Work Order itself is empty. This is rather confusing. Or is there a specific reason for this that I am missing here? Best RegardsRoel

Looking at the documentation for LOV Searching is shows that the functionality should use contains, however when creating a customer order as example. When I try entering a customer the logic used is startswith. Am I misunderstanding the logic here? Has anyone been able to change this logic?Thanks,Jamie

Hi All, I have a question on connecting my Functional Object to a Technical Class (and Attributes). I did following:Created a Technical Class Created Technical Attributes (Numeric and Alphanumeric) Created Technical Class Template and connecting various Technical Atributes to the Class Template, and including ‘Attribute Values’ to the Alphanumeric AttributesCreated an Object Type Connected a Technical Class to my Object Specified the correct values for my Technical Attributes connected to the Object Type Approved my Technical Class for the Object TypeNavigate to Functional Object Add Object Type to my Functional Object This populated the tab ‘Requirements’ with the attributes from the Technical Class connected to the object type But…..Why are the values I specified on the Object Type not copied to the Functional Object? Shouldn’t this be populated as well? Maybe I am not understanding the functionality correct but I would assume the Technical Attributes of the Object Type Technical Cla

Hi one of our customer is asking if it was possible to  use the dispatch console in a “read” mode. The customer wants for some of their managers, to give access to the console for  having a view of the ressources and their schedule but he doesn’t want the user assign/dispatch change data of the service order etc ….Thanks for your feedbackRgdsChristophe

In order to create a recurrent absence for an employee, it is possible to create an Employee Deviation Cycle in IFS standard.In the following example, the employee is absent every friday for “time credit”. The absence results are generated in the time card, but the system still expect job hours booking.But if the employee is absent, he shall not be expected to book any job hours.   Thank you for your help!

Hello,I am currently trying to run IFS Business Reporter and learn some of the basic, but when I try to pull data from my information sources, I have nothing returning. However, in IFS Cloud there are balances and data in the sources I’m pulling from. I’ve tried multiple different account type but always return a zero value. Is there some permission or setting somewhere in IFS that I need to update? Also, whenever I am putting in row repeaters, the only way that I can get any data at all to return to me is if I select the ALL checkbox on my Design Row Options. This isn’t what is described in the IFS Business Reporter training. Lastly, whenever I am trying to use the sheet repeater, a report that was otherwise working will break and no new sheets are created. Even if it’s an information source that I have already confirmed returns a value in other testing. 

HI All,We are having an issue in Synching MWO maintenance with our IFS cloud (version 23 R1 SU6). The synchronization task is created and its state is always posted. Whenever I open the app on the mobile, the Sync is automatically started and never finishes.The logs has no error messages. All the messages are info only.Any help greatly appreciated.Thanks Jaleel

DIFOT (Delivery in Full On TIme) is a measurement of logistics or delivery performance within a supply chain. Usually expressed as a percentage, it measures whether the supply chain was able to deliver: the expected product in the quantity ordered by the customer at the place agreed by the customer at the time expected by the customer.Has a requirement for the Tracking / measurement of DIFOTIS come up and how was this addressed in IFS ?

After upgrading the IFS Touch Apps Server to IFS Apps 10 Update 22.On opening the Touch Apps Server, entering the System ID and clicking Next I received the following error: When installing the Touch Apps Server the IFSTAS and IFSMOBILITY passwords had to be changed as there was no record of them available.We are using Azure Active Directory but changed this IFS Database so that after entering the System ID and clicking Next we would be able to access the Login page and enter ifsapp.Any ideas?

Does anybody have experience with the performance of the repository type ‘File Storage’ compared to ‘Database’?I would expect that it’s a little bit slower to download a file from Cloud File Storage than reading it from the database.But how big is the difference really? (Did anybody measure it? E. g. is it just about 50ms more?) Does the difference depend on the file size? (Means: Is downloading from ‘File Storage’ much slower for big files?) Does is depend on the number of files? (Means: Will ‘File Storage’ get much slower if you have millions of files?)Any practical experience is highly appreciated.

In Quick Report, how can I use calendar Date picker on invoice date. One of our Managers see some remaining hours to authorize against a few employees along with a zero hour schedule. It appears as if employees without a time schedule have reported hours? How should he handle it?
