Why is it that if you want to send document links of Document Type = View, you can only select the Latest Revision option?
Seems like I’m missing something here, but isn’t the view file also conntected to the document revision on the same terms as the original?

Thanks! Same behavior here 🙂 A coding mistake then, why else who those options also for View? Feel free to file a support case for this.
In the meantime, you can experiment with looking at a link for original files as well as view files, and try to manually modifying the view file link, mimicking what's done with the original when you select one of the other options. Then the link might actually work 🙂

Long time, no see… :-)
I cannot think of a good reason to not support the same options for view copies as we do for the original file. Might just be something that was forgotten, or a mistake. When I test now, I can see all three options also for View.
Is that not how it looks for you, or is it that the option is there, but the link doesn't work? 🤔
This is in the latest track (24R2 development).

Nice to see you! What happens if you select Latest Released or Current Revision? Does it switch to Original? At least that is the way it behaves for us (checked 23R2 and 24R1). R2 we have not :-)
