Hello All!Is there a setting in IFS Cloud where I can tell it what context I would like to default to when editing a page via the page designer?  We have several contexts, one of which I am part of, so when I go to open the page designer it defaults to that context.  However, that context is only needed for a couple pages and I am almost always working on the global context instead.  AS an example, here is the context setting when I open the page designer on the purchase order screen -   Notice it defaults to “ACE Part Team”.  This page doesn’t even have a saved configuration for that context, yet it still defaults to this.  I need to remember to change that value to global every time I want to edit, and it is becoming frustrating.

Is there a way in IFS Cloud to set an item as default as non-consumed at part level instead of doing this at the product structure level? If not, where in IFS cloud can done a mass update for all the product structures the articles is used in.

I know that it is possible to set the number of rows returned when querying Assyst data with the REST API, but I don’t know nor can I find an example in documentation on how to limit number of rows returned to “x” number of rows.asking for ALL open service request events, is more than 500 rows.  I would like to limit the number of rows so my query does not error out and will run.any help is greatly appreciated and “Thanks” in advance

Hi,I’m using a Migration Job to import some Customer Orders.  When Customer Orders are created in Aurena we have a custom action in place that creates a new Financial Project, and connects the new Customer Order to the Financial Project.  I can see this running in the Log Window, which shows that the action name is “Cf_CreateConnectFinancialProject” and the Projection is “CustomerOrderHandling”: I can confirm that this Projection>Action exists by looking at the Projection in Enterprise Explorer: What I’m stuck on is how I call this action from my Migration Job, as it claims the method doesn’t exist:I’m familiar with how to call APIs but not Projection Actions.  Can anyone help please? We’re running APPS 10 Release 25.

Hi All,Couple of our customers have raised a concern that they are not getting the option to upload the manifest file from the Excel desktop client. However, they are able to upload it to the Excel web client. Steps that were followed :https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/21r2/020_installation/400_installation_options/010_data_management/030_data_migration/Any idea what the issue could be?

Strange one, one user cannot see all customers, other users with exactly the same settings can. Tried clearing projection cache, metadata etc., problem still exists. I have logged in as the user on my machine the issue persists. Any ideas, pointers much appreciated.

Hello all!Our organization recently updated from Cloud version 23R1.8 to 24R2.5. With the update we have run into an issue when attempting to use the “Create Customer Order” command button on the Business Opportunity page. Specifically, if a business opportunity contains lines that span multiple sites this button used to create multiple customer orders (one for each site) but now it produces an error that states “The Site Object Does Not Exist”.  We have tested this with a mixture of different sites and customers with no luck yet.  It doesn’t appear to be an issue with basic data.  We are working around the issue by using the “New Customer Order” command button on the line level and creating the orders separately with that method but returning to using just one command would be ideal. Any ideas what the issue may be would be greatly appreciated!

What is the default session time before user is logged out of Alliance 15.4?

Hi All I have observed this on previous IFS versions as well. This is 24.1.9 The validity period has passed, but the agreement remains active. Isn't this fundamentally wrong?  Thanks,Asela

Hi Community,I'm currently configuring workflows in the Technician Portal and have noticed that the Service filter in the Workflow Configuration doesn't seem to be applied. Even when I set the filter to apply to specific services, the workflow is  triggered  for all the servicesIs this expected behavior, or am I missing something in the configuration?Would appreciate any insights or guidance on how the Service filter is supposed to work in this context. Thanks in advance!

When we are working with customers on their data migrations, it sure would be nice to have a NON-TECHNICAL list of all system defined mandatory fields and required tabs for the setting up a customer, supplier, purchase order, customer order, etc.For years we have always had to tell the customers to do a search for these fields by attempting to enter something and noting what fields are mandatory.  I think it would be far more efficient to have a published list of these things for the ENTIRE system categorized by application and table within the application.

Hello,I am curious if IFS comes standard with any Quick Reports that a client would get when they purchase the ERP, or if all Quick Reports need to be created by the client. We have a list of dozens of Quick Reports in our system, and I’m wondering if any of them came standard out-of-the-box or if we made them all/had them all made for us.Thank you!

Hello,I'm trying to upload an "extmixedpayment" with a supplierpayment, but I'm unable to link my code message to an identifier. When I process the payment, it goes through without errors, but I always get a warning stating that the identity is missing. How can I resolve this issue?Thank you

Hello,I’m currently encountering an issue when importing external payments of the transaction type “Direct cash trans.”Although the pseudocode is correctly configured, the project activity ID is not coming through during the importHere’s what I’ve verified so far:    •    The payment method has been created with an active connected identifier.    •    The definition of identifier is properly set up (see details below).    •    The pseudo code is correctly configured to retrieve the following elements: local account, project, and Activity Project ID.When importing the file, both the local account and the project are correctly recognized, but the Activity Project ID is missing from the import result. Please find attached the import file and the External File Template (ExtMixedPayment)  Has anyone encountered a similar issue or could provide any guidance on how to resolve this?Thank you in advance for your help!

We are introducing someone to a new part of the business where they’re going to be helping with creating service requests, but even after giving site access, person group access, high level graph org structure access. When they go to select a maint org from the drop down, it’s blank. Is anybody able to help me with what we are missing from their setup that needs to be added in order for this to show?

Hi everyone, We just updated to 24R2.6 and it looks like the Shop Order Scheduling Analysis page has been removed. Is there another page that has taken it’s place? Supply Chain Planning > Constraint Based Scheduling > Shop Order Scheduling Analysis
