I have a requirement to link a newly created Service Request to existing Service Request using ETM. Complete process:I am triggering an ETM Channel on a task of Service Request. From this ETM Channel I am creating a new Service Request. Everything is working fine.The only issue is that I am not able to link this new Service Request with existing Service Request.Please help.

Hello, I am using IFS Apps 10 and we have enabled Control Plan Mandatory and Create Analysis Mandatory in the QA controls. This has been working as expected, however, we have to disable the controls when a Rework Shop Order is opened. As an example we need to Rework PN 123456. So a SO is opened for it and the Rework flag is checked. The Operations are modified to suit the rework (deburr, sanding, etc.). All original operations are removed and the rework operation(s) are added. All original materials are removed and the top level part number is added (for rework) to the material. The connected control plan still has all the checks for the original steps, which I mark as not included. However, when you attempt to receive the Shop Order, the system errors out stating that is expecting you to complete checks for operations that you have removed and checks you have not included. I have found no way around this other than to disable the QA controls, report the rework Shop Order and turn them

Hello,I'm looking for advice on how to exclude a specific list of suppliers from a payment proposal.The requirement is to exclude a list of 26 suppliers from all payment proposals, while allowing the rest to be paid. Is there a way to set up parameters or automated tasks that can accomplish exactly this—either during the creation of payment proposals or through another method?I’d prefer not to create separate supplier groups if possible, as some suppliers are already part of existing groups. This is more about excluding certain suppliers, rather than selecting which ones to include.Additionally, I’d like to avoid putting a central payment block on the supplier accounts, as we need to keep the option open to pay them in the future if necessary.I've tried separating the suppliers with commas, semicolons, dots, and dashes, but none of these approaches have worked. When we used 23R1 in latest viewed page we could mark blue to set the page as Home so next time when you click the Home Icon it goes to the blue marked page instead of standard Home view. Now we have upgrade to 24R2SU2 and we can not do that anymore. Is there anyway to change the link in Home Icon?

We are trying to build a Fault Tree based on the FMEA built by our company. The configuration today is:ELECTRIC MOTOR (Item class)  CONVERT ELECTRIC ENERGY TO MECHANICAL ENERGY (Function)     BEARING FAILURE (Fault Type)           OHE - OVERHEATING (Symptom)           OIL CONTAMINATION (Cause) This is the standard IFS functionality, is someone using in a different way? Where you can put the effect of the Failure, or using the  “Failling component” inside the Cause?If someone can share how is the tree inside the FASN.

We have purchased some LTU licenses and I have uploaded these permission sets into our IFS Cloud environment.  Can anyone tell me if I need to get an updated version of these LTU permission sets for Service Updates?  I am aware I need to ask for updated permission set for Release Updates, but unsure if I need to do the same for Service Updates.  If it is dependent on if the Service Update affects that particular area the LTU covers, is there an easy way to check to identify this?  

We are currently trying to use the order cover time on a manufactured part by setting it to Planning Method G. We want the demand as seen on MS Level 1 to be assessed over the cover time and used to generate shop order requisitions for the demand within the order cover time. However, Planning Method G only appears to work for Purchased Parts. Has anyone managed to get this work for manufactured parts?

Hello there,We are using IFS Cloud. I am trying to use GL Automatic Posting Rules to post certain revenues (original GL coding will come in via manual customer invoice; voucher F) into other accounts based on a certain percentage.  I have set up the "original code string" tab as below. I have allowed the project code part to be "%" to allow any value. When setting up on "Automatic Posting Rows" tab, the below error message popped up. The project code part is not the budget/planning code part and it is in the valid time interval. In this scenario, my intention is to retain the same project code part value from the original posting. The project code part value may vary in the original posting, which makes it impossible for me to set it to a specific value.Can you please help? I would greatly appreciate any insights or guidance you could provide on this. Thank you! 

​@Thommy ​@Nethmini Kosvinna  On this original post Book Invoices on Finished Work Task No  it’s described the following: “This issue is fixed in app10 UPD 16. In UPD 14 & 15 you will not see finished work tasks in the LOV ( of the posting proposal window) , but you can manually add the WT number without any error . In UPD 16, it is not even possible to add a finished work task manually, it will pop up an error message when you try to save the record.”Has this logic been changed in IFS Cloud? (We are currently running 24R1 SU6)In the screenshot below our Finance Lead created a posting from a manual supplier invoice towards a Finished Work Task without the expected error message. We have several companies in the same environment, and some of them would like an error message for this scenario, and others likes that the system allows this.Are there any planned changes for this functionality in 25R1 & 25R2?   

Hello Everyone,We created our first custom component and it was successfully delivered to our use place client. We checked the Component Registration screen and it was not there.We checked the following: Confirmed the delivery installation was successful in the Delivery Registration Screen. Verified that the new component and the entities within it exist in the database. Checked module_tab and our component is registered and active. We checked the solution.yaml file and the component was active too. Refreshed the Server Cache within the client multiple times.Has anyone had similar issue where their component was registered in the database but not in their client after a successful delivery?

Does anyone know the correct date format to use to update a custom date field via SmartMail/update_event_ejb activity?Per the wiki, it says it needs to be in the ‘YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm:ss-OOOO ‘ format, which the value I’m passing is, but I can’t seem to get it to accept that date value no matter what I pass. I’ve tried the following:2025-04-08T12:00:00.00002025-04-08T12:00:00-0000date[2025-04-08 12:00:00.0000]date%222025-04-08T12:00:00-0000%22but none of these formats work.  

I have created a Quick Report (Crystal Report) that has a parameter @OrderNo. Next I created a custom menu on the Customer Order screen that maps the parameter:  Source = ORDER_NO  Destination:  @OrderNo On doing RMB and selecting the custom menu the @OrderNo parameter is displaying the Order No for the Customer Order that was in view at the time which is what I expected.  However, when the report is displayed no data is being displayed. If I run the report in Crystal Reports and enter the Order No the report displays data. I have tried selecting View on the Quick Report and entering the Order No in the parameter field and again no data is being displayed. Any ideas?   John  

Hi all,Why does my custom screen gets cleared when I go back to it from the ’Recent Screens’ button?The ’Back’ button of the browser works fine in this sense, I can see all my previous data there.Most other screens, for instance ’Inventory Part’, retain their displayed data when I return to them via the ’Recent Screens’ button also.How can I make my custom screen retain its queried data on such occasions too, when using the ’Recent Screens’ button?It is Cloud 24.1.4. Thanks in advanceJanos

Hello IFS community, I have a question regarding how the Lot Size Based Product Structure works. Here is a short summary of what I tested:Product Structure  - Lot Size Structure – Anything bigger than 23 pcs should have Alternate “1” and anything smaller should use alternate “*”.I then master scheduled 35 pcs of this part number in one day. My Planning details for lot sizing are set as follows: Max lot size set to 25 pcs (no min or Std).Result – Two Shop Order requisitions: 1 with 10 lot size and one with 25 lot size but BOTH with alternate 1 (only for lots bigger than 23). EXPECTED result: Two Shop Order Reqs: 1 with 10 and one with 25 but with different PRODUCT ALTERNATES. In this case, we are trying to tell IFS to use a different packaging for when we make 25 pcs Lot size. I read in the link below that only MRP checks through Lot Size Based Product Structure:Selecting Product Structure Alternate while performing MRP/MS in App-9 | IFS Community Is this true or am I facing a bug? I've added a custom field called "Project Hours", and I want the process to automatically take a certain path if the value entered in this field exceeds a specified threshold.To achieve this, I tried using the following condition in the Decision:$new.W("PROJECT HOURS").shortcode > 150 Unfortunately, this condition doesn't seem to work as expected. Is it possible to turn off forecast consumption entirely in Master Schedule?We have parts with forecast consumption of 0 (backwards and forward). If actual demand and forecast of the part lands on the same day, the forecast is still consumed. We forecast in monthly buckets and manually delete forecast as actual orders are entered. For this reason both the forecast and actual demand need to be counted towards generating supplies. Regards!Eric

Hi community,One of our users came across the following error when trying to initialize the MWO Services app in IFS Cloud. I’ve tried looking into this any haven’t come across much information. Does anyone know what may cause this error or how to go about fixing it?The user logged in again and the app has been trying to initialize for over 4 hours. They have successfully logged into the app and used it in the past, but recently had been asked to sync again because the database configuration had changed.Any help is appreciated,Thanks.

We use Sales Orders to deliver new hardware to the customer site, so after shipping, the hardware is in the Installed Base of that site.When doing renewals, we have also to remove scrapped hardware from the site. Therefor we create a Customer Return and wanted to scrap those items on Receive.The Scrapped option is in the drop down list of the item in de ReceivingBut we cannot select that option, this message pops up How can we “easily” scrap items from the Installed items following a logisitc process?

Hi, For a customer use case, we have SV with Material demand (mainly ship direct to the customer and only 1 part by SV).No DSE session for this customer process. For the scheduling process, we want that dispatchers would see directly in the dispatch console the data for the material demand (to avoid sheduling a technician before the estimated delivery date for the part) : status material demand (needed, allocated, ship open, shipped) and the mot important the delivery date.For the status, it’s ok.Could we have a way to display the delivery date in the dispatch console ? due_dt or exp_delivery_date Thanks and Regardsanthony
