Hi,We would like to have some amount off the total quote (header).If we try to add a percentage discount on the quote header, that's fine, because the discount is spread across each line as a percentage, which amounts to the same thing.But if we want to specify the fixed amount, to be deducted from the total, ALLIANCE applies this amount on each line and the total does not correspond to what we want.Is there any way to achieve this ?Thank you

We are running IFS cloud. I want to run an IFS Workflow when a ShopOrder Status changes to RELEASED. I spent way too much time trying to set this up and getting lots of unintuitive errors messages from the workflow designer and IFS when trying to test, deploy, etc. Anybody ever done this and have some pointers? Thanks,-Chris

Hi Experts,We have a Requirement in Service Contract where we should not invoice the Customer upto Certain price Limit but when exceed we should get their Approval to proceed further.its like this We setup Price limit say $200. Then if a Work order exceeded this Limit it should not allow us to proceed further instead to get the Customer Approval. How to handle this in IFS Cloud 24R2. Refer example below.In Contract lines I set a Price Limit. Then I create a work order for this Contract with more than this Amount.$2500 > $200 But this still allows me to create an invoice Preview and Customer order?  How to use this Function in the IFS cloud?Help for Price limit in IFS says   Thank you,KM

I created a Workflow Configuration (Portal and mWO) for Work Task where the action “Task Measurement” is enabled and defined as “Mandatory”.in IFS Cloud 24R2.When I completed a Work Assignment of a work task without registration of any measurement, I expected that I get a message.Is this functionality only working for mWO and not for Technician Portal?

Hi Experts,I’m currently unable to close the accounting period due to the error message: “Transactions waiting to be transferred from Distribution and/or Manufacturing.” To investigate, I checked the Supply Chain and Manufacturing Posting Analysis and found 302 records with the status marked as Completed. I attempted to transfer these transactions by running the Purchase Transactions process, but no changes occurred, even though the background process shows as posted successfully. Upon reviewing the Purchase Transaction Details, I discovered that all 302 records are linked to a single calculated Purchase Order (PO) & Site. At this point, I’m unsure how to proceed, as the transactions are not transferring and are blocking the period closure. Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated.  Regards,Nikila Dissanayake

Hi ,We are trying to use Spend Analysis sample BI report and it’s not loading data into the report. The tabular model is deployed, and the Supplier Performance sample BI report is working as expected, even though both reports fall under Procurement. Our customer is using version 23R1. Our customer is in 23R1. Fix this command in the report does not fix the issues as well. Is there a workaround for if a release update completely breaks page designer on specific pages? Most pages I can go in and rebase no problem, but some will not load at all, returning an error. The error only lets you reload the page or go home. The only way I’ve found to deal with this is to delete all customizations and add them back manually. This gets very very time consuming for pages with a lot of customizations. Hoping there is something that can be done to get around this.

We are currently in Cloud 24r2. I am trying to use the command “Print Order Confirmation” on an order from the Quick Order Flow Handling page but I am receiving a ‘REP_NOT_ALLOWED: You are not allowed to execute the Report -’ Things I’ve done:I’ve checked the response because it usually tells me which projection needs to be granted (i.e the report’s projection) but there is no projection or report mentioned in the error or the response. I’ve tried to print the Customer Order Confirmation from the Customer Order screen and it worked. I went into the database to see which report is mentioned in the Quick_Order_Flow_Handling_SVC.Print_Order_Confirmation_Report___ function (since the error is triggered on the action PrintOrderConfirmationReport) and it is pointing to the correct report (CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP). This is the report I was able to print from the Customer Order too.It’s almost like this command button from this page is trying to print a report that does not exist. Is anyone ha

Hi,I want to create a Purchase Order Line directly in status Planned.But when I create a PO Line, it gets status Released by default.How can I configure or control the PO Line to be in Planned status when it's created?Is it possible?

User feedback is that the edit pop up for pre postings is very irritating, since you have to do a mouse move to get to the next field.  In the screenshot above from my laptop the move is about 10 cm, while it’s about a 50 cm move on my external screen.Users sitting in an office just want’s to use tab to navigate between these fields.Is it possible to disable this avoid the edit dialog with a setting in Page Designer?(We are currently on 24R1 SU6)  

Hi,Customer is mainly using two different types of Contract types (Cover Levels), Standard and Premium Contracts.Starndard contract Support 5 Days a week and Premium Support 7 days including Weekends as well.This means they do not Support Weekends for Standard Cover but Premium only. Question 01: How this to setup in IFS Service Contracts? for example STANDARD contracts should not allow support during the weekend but PREMIUM only? Question 02:There are contracts, the 1st hour of labour included. For example if Technicain reported 4 Hours, only 3 hours should be invoiced? How to setup this? Please help to uderstand this setup in IFS Service Contracts. Kind RegardsKM

Hi, We are assessing the compatibility of IFS Applications 10 (Update 11) with Windows 11.It was observed that when  the IFS EE Link Handler extension is enabled in MS Edge, the ClickOnce link is not functioning, i.e., the application is not getting downloaded upon clicking on the ClickOnce link. Has anyone come across this issue?Is there any workaround for the issue? RegardsThilochana

Hi All We just implemented SU9 on 24R1 and after that the project radio button which shows up shortcuts saved keeps disabled. I cannot find the little setting related to that. Can anyone direct me where it is? Even if I try to save it as a new shortcut, next day I try to register time, still shows up with the button disabled. Anyone knows how to keep it enabled each day a user needs to register time?  Thanks,Asela

Hello Experts, We want to create a report using IFS business reporter which includes a pivot table. For this we have first created a flat table on a sheet and the pivot table on another. (Please note we need to create the flat table using report designer and then create a pivot table using excel functions since it is not integrated to business reporter as it was in IFS Business Analytics)We have defined a parameter as Site and want to display it on the report when it is run. I’ve updated the design and saved the revision on my phone in the designer, but all the other users are still seeing the old design until they manually go to Admin > Refresh Design Data. Is there any way to push out an update to all devices with the new design?

We have a customer planning to go-Live on 24 R2 in January 2026. I understand that customer can be 3 release versions behind.  By the rime 26R1 come out the customer will be 3 versions behind and they are asking whether they are obliged to 26R1 straight away or are they in breach only when 26R2 comes out? can they hold off the deployment for 26R1 after its release date?

Hello,I am trying to edit the unit cost on the Part screen but run into the below error.ErrorWhen looking at the std_part_cost_view table, it shows that 557727 has not been modified since 2023. When looking at Screen Events for the Part screen, there is only 1 screen event. I am unable to edit the custom metadata as it is under FSM Metadata but when I looked at the column UNIT_COST, it shows that Force Select is checked off. I do not believe that would be the issue as 5/15 parts errored out with the same error.When I checked the BR, there was only 1 BR running.I am not sure what could be causing this issue and it is happening frequently. 

Hi Guys, I having a trouble with reconciling  Received Not Invoiced Report to GL. Does any of you know exactly which Posting Types should be considered  when matching Received Not Invoiced Report. With some investigation I understand that M10, M14 and M18 should be considered. There are other types of postings like M189 and M196 posted to similar account. But I do not see these amounts related to Arrival charges in Received Not Invoiced Report.   Thanks

 I am trying to setup an object connection transformation for the following. The behaviour I am expecting is :1.Attach a document to Object type2.Attached document should be inherited by all the Functional Objects connected to that Object type3.Attached document should be inherited by the Work Order/ Work Tasks created  which are connected to that Functional Object The items 1 & 2 were successful but the item 3 has failed.Should this be a straightforward connection or am I doing something wrong ?

For example  whether they were delivered or not But now, we are just getting the line of the delivery action : The print is being done from the Print Delivery Note for customer orders page :    Any idea why or how to analyse please?
