We’re trying to support a business process in which a Product is delivered to a customer, but if there’s a problem with it, under some circumstances the Product will be replaced with a new one, and the original will be returned, remanufactured and at some future point resold to a different customer.However we can’t create Shop Orders or Shop Order requisitions as when we try to specify the Order or Requisition type as Remanufacturing the system generates an error message telling us there is no Product Structure Header for the Product as a Remanufactured Part.I can go to the Inventory Part and change the Part Type to Remanufactured but the original Manufacturing Product Structure is still valid.I can go into the Product Structure itself and create a new Alternate but that is still for Manufacturing I can create a New Part Revision and try to use that to create a new Product Structure to remanufacture the part giving it the same Phase In and Out dates as the original, but that then makes

Hi, I’m thinking this is just how it is, but wanted to check. We upload inventory a lot that needs to be converted to Fixed Assets. Accounting goes to the Capex Preview screen, filters for the new items, and clicks “Create Fixed Assets”.   If they’ve selected more than 100 records, they get this error: ******FS Web Version: 24.1.10.20250305060220.0Date: 2025-04-22T14:41:01.756Z--------------------------------------------------------------------------BtdCapexPreview/CapexPreview (server error)Database error occurred. They can process them all if they do it in 100 group chunks, so it isn’t a problem with the literal fixed assets. I’m guessing 100 records is the practical limit and we can’t change this, but I thought I’d ask. Thanks!

Hi,When I click SHARE->PRINT ORDER CONFIRMATION en my production environment, it takes 15 seconds to open de print option screen and even more if I chose to preview.I did the same validation on TEST environment, and it is almost instantaneous. I am short of ideas, disabled all rules, disabled custom field options, use custom configuration. I even add one me ifsapp-reporting and ifsapp-client containers. Hello - We recently switched from standard cost to average weighted cost as our inventory valuation method.  We are trying to figure out if there is a way to have one of the cost sets accurately reflect the average cost of purchased materials instead of using estimated material cost.  One example to help explain what we are looking for is is that we are starting to put tariff expenses directly tied to a part on the purchase order line as an “additional cost”.  We don’t want to change the base estimated material cost, but want the average cost of that part to be reflected accurately in one of the cost sets so we can use that for quoting and analysis purposes.  Currently, those additional tariff costs would not be reflected in any of the cost sets for that part.  Additionally, beyond tariffs if we are sourcing something from a temporary supplier at a different cost than normal we would like a cost set to reflect the average purchase price.  We’ve tested/tried a variety of different thing

As you know Refill Putaway creates Transport Tasks (TT). These TT lines always consider the units which does not have any reservation in the inventory. But we have a requirement now to Putaway already reserved parts from one location to another using TTs. (Moving Reserved Stock is allowed in the site)Ex: LOC-1 has 10 parts > 8 units have a CO reservation, 2 units are available.We want to move the entire 10 units (irrespective of the 8 reserved units) to LOC-2 using a TT which is created by the Putaway logic  Note: 10 parts are inside an HU

Does anyone know if there is a mechanism for deleting multiple Supplier for Purchase Part Price List entries rather than having to go into each SFPP record and deleting one by one?

Apps10.We have a fairly simple lobby element that works fine until we add a GROUP BY entry for it.  As soon as that is done we get a “not a group by expression” error when previewing or trying to use the element. We have tried changing the data field and the data field types but the same error every time.We have tried doing this with no Order By, just the Group by, and the error remains.I’m sure it’s something simple but can’t figure it out - anyone have any ideas?Thanks!Nick

Hello everyone,In PSO, we have two different datasets: one running on IFS Cloud and the other on the ARP file. We have created a profile for each dataset.However, when I change the parameters for a specific dataset, PSO applies the parameters from the default profile instead of the assigned profile. The profiles have been correctly assigned to the respective scheduling dataset.  Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this? Regards - Anastasiya  

Hi AllSeeking guidance here. I am setting up an approval template in the document revision and I added a user to approve the document. But this user only granted the DOCUMENT_ATTACHMENT_CLOUD permission set. Once I start the approval, this user can view the document but he cant approve the document and I get below error. I am just thinking do I need to grant any additional permission to these users who are doing document approvals? I dont think we need to grant Doc Admin permission for these approvers as I dont want approvers to see other documents and document revisions.Any suggestions please?Thanks,Chamath

 I am executing a migration of Business Opportunities on IFS Cloud 24R1 Once the Business Opportunities have been migrated, I need to execute the Confirm Sales Process function on each Business Opportunity. I will be doing this using a migration job.I have been unable to locate the method to be used for this in the BUSINESS_OPPORTUNITY_API Packages list on the Entity page.Does anyone know which method to use here ?

Is it possible to send an email directly to the case contact from within IFS?We would like to start measuring time to case completion from this point. 

I would like to setup specific Document Classes to go through a default approval by our Document Manager.  We are having trouble with users not selecting a template before submitting. Does this functionality exist?  If not, does anybody have an idea of how I could do a custom event to complete this?

Hi all,Have you ever encountered a situation where you had to manage the relationship between an inventory part with inventory expiration tracking and MRP usage?In other words, there is an inventory part and it has an expiration date. In the standard structure, the system manages the supply process by considering the expiration date into account during the MRP calculation.However, in the MRP calculation logic, it is requested to make MRP calculations by ignoring the expiration date, is this request possible?Could you share your experiences and knowledge? ThanksOzge

I have an Event Action set up for STEP_READY_FOR_APPROVAL to send a Streams message for a Document Revision Approval.First Approval step is to an IndividualSecond Approval step is to a Group When I start the Approval process, the individual receives the Streams message.  When he approves the Step, no one in the group on the second Approval step receives a streams message.  If I change the second Approval step to an individual, they do receive the streams message.I have tested changing the first Approval to the group and started the Approval process and the streams message does not send to anyone in the Group.I have set up the Event Action exactly the same in a different client's environment and the streams notifications work.  Is there some setting needed to send streams to individuals in a Group? This is for IFS App 10.

Hi All, I have recently created some cost buckets for inventory parts relating to different product families. However when testing, I’ve found that one of the cost buckets still has parts in it that relate to the wrong product family. This is doubling up the cost when calculating the standard cost. I cannot see anywhere how I can remove the part from the cost bucket. I can’t delete the cost bucket and start over, either.  Has anyone experienced this before or does anyone have any suggestions please?Thank you, John 

We switch from IFS10 to IFS Cloud and are still testing IFS Cloud (currect 24R2).When we try to create a new Customer with Category Customer the system does not allow us to do so. When we try to create a new Customer with Category another category we can save the created customer. Where in IFS Cloud is the setup, that we cannot create a new customer with Category “Customer”? 

 Hello,On the Go-live the Sales Contract is partially Invoiced with AFP.  For the migration of open AFP Invoices - can I use a standard STDCIN1 or STDCIN2 migration template? Or is there any better tool dedicated to migrate those kind of invoices? Also - can I only migrate the Open AFP invoices? Or is it better to re-generate all the AFP invoices issued before Go-live, to have the proper progress set on Sales contract Items (proper value of certified work and proper queue of AFP invoices?I’d appreciate any information.Kind RegardsBeata
