What is the default session time before user is logged out of Alliance 15.4?

Hi Kyle,

The default is one hour. You can see the configuration editor for the profile looking at the Timers tree. There should be one for the session set to 3600 seconds which is 60 minutes or one hour.

This is for Alliance backend. Mobile, there are some MOE settings to force log out to ensure the field engineers actually go offline instead of leaving their mobile sessions active.

 Hope this helps!

That is what I thought. Must be a bug with 15.4

I have not heard of a bug in this area and have seen my inactive sessions disconnected automatically.  One thing you might check is the time zone of the application server versus the database server.

Hi Kyle,

If you’re getting frequent INVALID_STATE errors, please check the Windows > Application log to see if there are any unhandled .NET runtime errors. I believe this might be related to the case CS0417958 that you have open.

Thanks,
Andrew
