Hi,Do you have a documentation that describes the settings and process if we want to use the put away process : This process is it used if we make a reception by the misc. adujstements transaction or only from a reception ?What settings are needed in what transactions : Place ? Bins ? Others  : business rules...etc..Could you explain with an example the settings  needed in the bins transaction :What is the meaning and impact ?  It Seems that in the place transaction we have to check the Use stock bin. could you confirm ?in the reference guide on the place transaction we see : put away process : where is this field , is it removed by Use stock bin ?  Thanks for your help and Regardsanthony thobie

Hi all, I have a very specific case which requires some help;By request of the biggest customer of company X , Supplier Managed Inventory (SMI) or Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) will be offered to the customer to a selected range of parts. In the scenarios of SMI between company X and the customer, The inventory is customer owned and located at their own warehouse. Company X receives the forecast, usage and orders frrom the customer.My own advise was to use a dummy company where the products will theoretically be moved to and scrapped when used. Invoice will be sent to the customer and the delivery address is customer site. Could anyone please advice how to handle customer owned stock?

Hi By default when I try send report to email address I receive message as follow:The archived PDF file for Inventory Count Report report is ready and is attached in this mail.Customer wants this message in pl language but I can not enforce it.I checked following:1. OS locale is pl2. Solution Manager\Integration\IFS Connect\Setup IFS Connect -> Task Templates: PROCESSING_PRINT_JOB - locale is pl3. No print agent configured4. No reporting rule defined for specific report5. pl translation exist in Fndbas_Java-Core-pl.trs6. report locale is also pl7. IntServer1 is restartedDo I miss something or this is standard feature(or bug)?  

Hello,I'm having issues with regards of automatic matching when doing intercompany invoices in IFS.If the check box "Create when checked" is not ticked in the external supplier invoice parameters, I have to create the invoice manually when the invoice is loaded and the invoice is automatically matched with the PO as expected (through posting proposal).As my customer is willing to automate all the steps, I'd like to do the process where the invoice is "created when checked", to avoid manual creation. The invoice is indeed created with no errors but it seems like the system doesn't find the receipt. Thus, the automatic matching is not automatically completed, whereas the PO was indeed fully receipted.My posting proposal status is "cost invoice" and in the invoice lines I can see the PO reference and not the PO receipt (which I can see when the invoice is created manually from the screen: External supplier invoice load information, after being checked automatically).Please note that I man

In the Entity-model we have the information if the access to a record should be restricted. (XML-Tag ‘DB_ROW_LEVEL_SECURITY’) While most information from Entity-model is stored in DICTIONARY_SYS_xxx, I can’t find the information from DB_ROW_LEVEL_SECURITY. Does anybody have a hint for me where this information is stored in the database?

Hi, I am trying to setup warehouse storage capacity on warehouse navigator screen. I have entered all the parameters for Width, Height, Depth, Volume and Carrying capacity for Site, Warehouse and Bin location. I have also defined storage requirements on part catalog and inventory part. Whenever I try to receive the part on that location it shows me following error:  am I missing some step here ?    Thank you.

When creating a Business Opportunity in APPS10 Enterprise Explorer there is a field “Main Representative”. I want the option to add any IFS user to this but the list of values only allows me to add the names that are listed in a separate screen called “Representative 360”.However there is only one user in this screen and it looks like a test user. There isn’t any option to add a user (no “plus” icon) How do I make an IFS User a “Representative 360” user?Thank you.

We use the Project Transaction, Create Correction Transaction to make project time/dollar corrections in Apps9.  I cannot find anywhere in IFS that shows the date a correction was made.  Everything references the original date of the time transaction.  Is anyone familiar with a field that shows the date a correction was made?  Thank you.

Hi, My customer have a parts that 20% from purchusing & 80% from manufacture . purchusing lead time is 40 days. manufacture lead time is 10 days. While , for IFS ,seems only 1 type lead time can be set: either purchusing lean-time or manufacture lead-time,do we have any workwround for this? esp for MRP Explosion,  if the parent parts demands is 100 pcs on 8/30.for this parts, they want 20 Pur Resq on 7/20   80 Shop Resq  on 8/20can this be accomplish by IFS?

Hi community, I have entered fixed values for the posting types GP11 and GP10, code parts cost center and project via the posting control window. However, when the H vouchers are created the specified fixed values are not considered. Has there been a particular reason for this?  What could be a probable cause for revaluation code part values not being not fetched? Thank you in advance.Cheers!Amos

I would like a way for an SA to route a call from Mobile, to create a Customer Support Order from a Service Order, essentially escalating his call to get Technical Support.Giving the SA the ability to create a new Service Order is not suitable, as we need a Customer Support Order.We currently use a stop code to create a new activity which can be picked up by Tech Support or back office but them someone still needs to do the routing.  It would be very convenient if a routing could be done directly from Mobile.

Is there a place in IFS EE where the Asset class is stored with the Inventory Value?  We use the inventory value by period to report our total inventory levels, but we would like it by Asset Class.  There are views in IFS that has the information, but the views seem to capture the data when the view is displayed hence the asset class displaying with the historical inventory value is the current asset class, not the asset class when the historical data was taken.

Whenever we try to change an invoicing supplier in a PO which is in Released state we get the above error however there is no Invoice made/matched for this Purchase order still we receive above error.I believe there is some internal setting in IFS Apps 8.0 where it is defined already that for any given site you can’t process/make any changes in PO whether its Price, tax code, qty etc. post its authorization. This Change order functionality is only there is IFS V8.0 and above, want to know where is the root cause or that internal setting defined as this has to nothing deal with PO authorization rule when checked.Tried to change the setting in authorization too which lists as follows;

Hi I have to set up email alerts for every appover based on approval steps Event STEP_READY_FOR_APPROVAL is not firing for initial step when we apply approval templateIt works when approved first step. Any ideas to fire initial/first step I mean when we apply approval template initial approvers should get an email alert? Thanks,Narsi.
