Hi,we have a question,in Part A, the serial rule is the In Inventory and/or At Receipt and Issue.  Before receiving Part A on shop order, a serial structure is required. question arise here, is it mandatory that all the sub components have to be serialized and/or lot controlled parts?Thank you.Ron

Hi,Can we possible to delete a csv file which is located in database server using a custom event?File is located in this path. That csv file is created due to migration job failure. But customer needs to delete that file from db server before the next file will be come to db server.Thank you,Malan Jayanka

Hi Guys, Can any one help by providing the process :As we are aware that we will pay to Government the net off Input Tax(i., Tax on Purchases) and Output Tax (i., Tax on sales). Is there any procedure in IFS for auto  set off these two tax transactions and create a voucher with the Net amount payable to Government. .

currently the software consider Engine and airplane as different assembly. However, there are manufacturer tasks for engine assy but followed airplane Flight cycle and flight hour which require to be created on airplane assy. But there is an issue that during engine removed from an airplane installed back the scheduling require manual intervention.  please is there anyone who experience this problem? and some sort of solution as well.

We want to become better at follow up on Scrap in shop orders. Is there any good way to see how much a scrap of 2pcs in operation 50 costs (based on cost on previous operations and operation 50, or based on pre calculated cost per pcs and operation)? The end goal:A report for the “High Scrap Cost” operations last 12 months where we can address the big money and focus on the top 50.  Give imidiate feedback to each production group on their lobby that: The cost of scrap this week was XXX Your top 10 scrap this week was XXXX with a “year scrap” of YYYY (a table element) - Operators often have information on why there is scrap and what we can do to improve, we just want to provide them with relevant data at the right time so they start thinking about it.  @Björn Hultgren ? 

When some users attempt to drag and drop any document into the attachment pane, they get the following error:  The file type is not registered in Document Management/EDM Basic. Please contact the System Administrator.This seems to be a permissions issue because other users can drag and drop the same file with no issue.  Does anyone know what they could be missing?We recently upgraded from 7.5 to 10.  In 7.5, they had no issue with the drag and drop functionality.

Hi, is there a way to spread the purchase reqs that MRP creates, without splitting the shop order? Assume we have a big shop orders, of several months. We create repetive, 200.000PCS for example. All the same, one operation. One piece after the other.MRP will create a pur req to buy it all before the SO starts. But we would like to spread this out, a pur req for each 2 weeks for example, as we consume the components on a constant rate. Is this possible?

We have started an upgrade from App9 to IFS Cloud (2021 R1) along with replacing SAP.Although the Aurena client has loads of new cool features, there are couple of user friendly features in IEE which our users are heavily rely on in their day to day life.Advanced search with group by functions Conditional formatting Sticky notes Shortcut keysOur business is highly relying on these functions and we are having hard time getting the buy in for Cloud.Can we expect these features in later releases or are they any workarounds/new features which can support these?

Hi allFrom the requisition tab of a work order, a purchase requisition was made and a PO was created and released resulting in a “close” status of the requisition on the WO tab.Now, I want to cancel the PO again, but I get the message that there are peggings connected to the PO line and I have to remove the pegging first. Problem is, I cannot do anything from the WO screen to remove the pegging, so I’m stuck.How can I solve this? thanksKurt

What would be the best approach to remove a user from the support portal, when they’re not longer with the company? It seems to be a well defined process to register new users but no way to remove/inactivate one once registered. I opened a support “question” ticket and it takes more than 3d to follow up. Some of the people who need their access removed might do damage if not acted sooner. Is there any known path to follow? 

Hi community,We receipt bar stock in multiple lengths (1m, 3m & 6m) but the inventory quantity will be the sum total, If a 2.5m lengthis required this leads IFS to assume we have sufficient stock but the 2.m consists of multiple short lengthsIs there a way to capture the qty in stock by individual length ?

Hello all, I am reaching out because I do not know where to begin solving this problem. The issue is that a user account is trying to print a Handling Unit Content Label from the Shop Floor Workbench. No print dialog is shown when pressing okay in the last step. The report is not created in the Report Archive either. What is interesting is that from the window Handling Units it is possible to print this report. But, it it still does not create the report in the Report Archive. When I try this with admin access, I get the print dialog, can choose layout, printer etc. and it works as intended.  My conclusion is that it might be permission related. Here is where I need help from the community. Where is permissions for allowing a user to print and create Reports located? Or is some other printing/report related setting missing?

We would like to get data from external source. We are using App 9.4. The data will send via XML. We are trying to understand consept of webservice. We started with settings of IFS. We set INBOUND as RECEIVER. There are a lot of way to do that. So we confused. We will create a new package and develope new page for it. What should be order to complete this task?   

Hi,  Is it possible to know where the person calendar exception screen is coming from when this is launched via the schedule board resource card?  Is it possible to edit this screen and new user_def fields? In addition we want the exception type drop down to show the description and not the code value  

Hello, One of my customers noticed an issue when trying to add Code Parts to Expenses in Aurena. When they select any Code Part and click “Save” it shows a green check and says “Expense Edited”. However, nothing is actually saved. The Code Part fields are left blank and when you check IEE they are also blank. I ran a test by entering the Expense in IEE and adding Code Parts to see if it worked and sure enough it did. I then checked the same Expense in Aurena and I could see the Code Parts that I attached on the Expense lines.  Has anyone seen this issue? I am about to report it as a bug but wanted to reach out to the community before I did for any possible solutions. My customer’s end users only use Aurena so using IEE instead is not a solution unfortunately. Additional info: They are using Apps 10 UPD8 Thanks in advance for any help!Thank you!   Nik

We load invoices to IFS using the external customer invoice load assisant.However, we have an issue were we have invoices with 2 rows (Product line and charge line). It doesnt like as it sees the invoice ID on there twice and gives an error.Is there a way of uploading the rows but having the same invoice ID?Thanks
