Is there a way in IFS Apps 10 to set a global variable similar to how the $INSTANCE variable works in the connect readers? I am looking to set up something for an external REST Api I am using in event actions so that I do not have to manually update the endpoint URL every time I import an updated app package into my test and production environments.

Hello! do you know if there is a function or menu in which it is possible to see the past consumption split by month of an inventory part  and/or if somewhere it is displayed the average monthly consumption based on a selected period. In alternative, how to create a report  to calculate what I asked? I’m going  to work with IFS10. Thanks

Hi Guys,Is there a way to update Change Request when connected CO in Approved state ?Or What is the method to get the Change Order from Approved to Preliminary or AnalyzedEngineering>PDM>Change Management

We are in the process of upgrading our servers, and have experienced some unknowns that we couldnt cover in testing that have caused the IFS live application to be offline, sometimes for up to 3 hours when we are having to restart servers and understand what has caused the interuption. The business are understanding but expect everything to be up 24/7, 365 days.Am trying to manage expectation, but wondering from others experiece. How often does IFS experience service interuptions? We are averaging 98% uptime overall.

Hi all,Can anyone access the function body of ifsapp.purchase_order_line_part_api.Get_Greatest_Receipt_Date() and send the details to me? The function generates the earliest possible receipt date but I don’t know the logic so want to see the function body to understand it. Thanks a lot.

In Aurena 10 I have a custom Commandgroups button (ExecuteAction), on the Change Request page, linked to an API.How can make it so that this button will only show when certain conditions on a Change Request are met?An example of this is the out of the box “Create CO” button that will only show when the EcoNo is null and the Objstate is Active (Not Cancelled or Preliminary). It uses this script in the Enabled configuration of the button.{"and":[{"==":[{"var":"record.EcoNo"},null]},{"!=":[{"var":"record.Objstate"},"Cancelled"]},{"!=":[{"var":"record.Objstate"},"Preliminary"]}]}When I grab this and enter it for my button under the Enabled configuration it does not work. The button always shows on the page all the time.Thanks.

Using the “Report Rule” we can set the P.O. filename in the Report Document Archive to something a bit “smart”, like “SUPno-PO-Pxxxxx ”.  Nice!   But what we’d also like to do for the benefit of our vendors, as we RMB - Send Order, is send them a “smartly” named file.  The IFS attached PDF default filename is  a concatenation of the Report Title and Result Key; which may as well be a random number.  Is there a way of defining the e-mail attached PDF’s filename?  Thanks!

We recently ran across this backgound job message and I am not familiar with it. COMPANY101PROJECT_IDADSCDORCHEEXCLUDED_STATUS1 EXCLUDED_STATUS2 EXCLUDED_STATUS3 SUB_PROJECT_IDACTIVITY_SEQ Any help is appreciated!

Does anybody know whether it is possible to create an email alert that should fire when IFS Business Reporter Execution Server status stops. I tried to create an alert on XLR_BAES_TAB when Active = 0 but when the Business Reporter Execution Server stops on the Report Server the XLR_BAES_TAB Active column isn’t changing from 1 to 0. Any advice would be much appreciated.

When exporting a company template in the Cloud I do not get an option to define the export directory and so cannot see where/if the files have been exported.  I have checked my downloads and they are not there. Has anyone else encountered this issue and if so how has it been resolved?

Hi, Community, Need your expertise on HR clocking and more.We are acquired by our parent company year ago, and the parent company is starting the standardize program, standardize the time clocking system. we are on APP10(upgraded from APP8 at technical level only), never use time clocking system before. Parent company’s expectation is to have everyone of the company using time clocking via IFS, plus we have lots of contractor working on production line, they also need manufacturing clocking to get the payment. your feedback is very much appreciated. Thank you.

Using Sourcing Rules to select Supply Codes, can this be used to PARTIALLY source the Order Line requirement from inventory, and then raise an order for the remaining balance? I have tried to use this to select Invent Order and then Purch Order Trans, but IFS seems to only be able to select the option that can FULLY deliver the quantity required, and does not allow a partial supply based on Invent Order and then order the rest from a supplier based on Supply Code Purch Order Trans. Can I assume this is not possible?

Hi  Hoping for some inspiration here.I have a parent shop order with a need date of 01/10/2021( approx 1 day build) which contains multiple children of Both manufactured and purchased items. All manufactured parts set to Finite After Scheduling Through APB it is giving me planned finished in week 49 :(. This is despite all manufactured components having been scheduled to be completed by Week 39, Having ample capacity on the necessary work center and all PO’s been received.I’m also unable to drag it to an earlier date. This results is making no sense to me, is it possible that i’m missing some other constraint?Any light shed on the subject is welcome Ian

What is the expected release date for FSM 6 update 12?

We have a problem exporting a Financial report to excel from Report Archive. We found a limitation on the Row template. If we have more than 821 rows we get the error message above. It doesn’t matter which row we remove, we only get the error if we exceed 821. We get the error in APPS9 and APPS10. I used Debug and it seems like the rows are being built into a string but when it exceeds 4000 chr in length it errors. Can this parameter be increased?Thank you,

We are currently on Apps8 going to Apps10. The workflow I describe below works in Apps 8, but not in Apps 10.Our installation workflow begins with a Customer Order (Sales) and ends with a Work Order (non-billed Service). The Customer Order is created and completed for one Site and the related Work Order is created and completed in a different Site. Also, Customer Order has one Customer Number (distributor) and Work Order has a different Customer Number (end-user). IFS 10 is requiring a matching Site and Customer Number between Customer Order and Work Order, but this won’t work for our business practices.Any suggestions or ideas? Open to IEE10 and Aurena for possible solutions.Thanks.

Hi AllWe are running: IFS v9 (update16)I have been changing all of our Internal System passwords. The last account that I am unsure of is IFSWEBCONFIG. Although there is no option to change the password in the installer as per the other Internal passwords (IFSPRINT, IFSCONNECT, IFSSYS, IFSPLSQLAP, IFSADMIN), the IFSWEBCONFIG password does appear encrypted in the configuration.xml log with the others?I was hoping that this password could just be changed at the backend, but seeing it in here makes me think perhaps it would require a reconfigure? Is this encrypted password used elsewhere?Any experiences or advice would be appreciated.ThanksMike
