Hi,We have IFS8 in which facing issue related to Print Job. Sending Mail an order report via script, it raise error “PrintJobContents:Field [Report_Id] with value XXX_REP is not a part of Print Job.Please guide how to solve it.  ThanksShekhar

Is it possible to take a backup of "IN" folder files which reads by FILE_READER In IFS...If Its possible please let me know the process to be followed.

We are using IFS 10. For new part business we create a Business Opportunity.  From the Opportunity Line, we create an Estimate.  When the Estimate is complete, we transfer the information back to the Opportunity, confirm the opportunity and create a Sales Quotation.We use a similar process for existing parts, but skip the Estimate.When we determine the Sales Quotation is won/lost, we close the Sales Quotation and indicate the won/loss status.  For existing parts, this rolls back to the Business Opportunity line and sets the line to won/loss.  However, this doesn’t happen for new parts.  These stay In Process and there does not seem to be a way to get them finalized.Is there a way to finalize the status on Business Opportunity lines for new part?

Hi Everyone.This scenario can be tested in App10 test LKP.The below price list is owned by Company 10 (Site “1” and “2” are created in company 10 as well).and the sales price is 32.00. And the Valid for site is “1”Customer uses “Send sales price list” (RMB feature) and add below details then press “ok” Then go to “Incoming Purchase Price Catalog” window and RMB> Approve the relevant record. Go to Supplier for purchase part and open the below records.Supplier - PL950Part No - ANGO008;PTA-PART4You can see the updated price list in both site 1 and 2 for both partsI set Valid for site as “1” but the price list details have been reflected in site “2” as well. The question is, when there is a supplier for purchase part record for multiple sites and  the price is updated from the price list, should this price be updated in all the sites (if the company is the same)If it is the functionality, is it possible to restrict this for a specific site? 

This is regarding the payment method QR – Codes (previously known as ESR) in Switzerland. This payment method covers both supplier and customer as below Supplier: being able to “read & pay” supplier invoices with QR-Codeswe scan the invoice in our scanning tool which is called TIS. Hi,Can anyone help me with below query ?  For Apps10, IFS introduced a new generic concept for Validity in basic data.  This enables the users to control whether a specific basic data code can be used or not, and can thus help in managing when a certain code is allowed.E.g. if a code has been used, but should be discontinued, the old way of handling this has been to add something like DO NOT USE in the description, since it is not allowed to delete a code that is used.  This does however not prevent users from actually using it, and it will also present that text as part of description all places where that code has been used.  The new capability ensure that you can prevent the use of an old without having to do such actions.In Document management, the new concept is not yet implemented, leaving an inconsistent application where the users do not have the above mentioned ability to control which basic data codes that should be allowed to use or not, which over time can cause problems.Th

ISSUE/QUESTION:  Forbidden extension on attachment in service order.  Need some help.  Is there a way to allow this type of file; .xlsm, to be added in Alliance?ENVIRONMENT:  Alliance productAUDIENCE:  External/InternalRESOLUTION/ANSWER:   Yes, but this will require access to the server.  Provided you have permissions to the server, the file extension can be added via the Configuration Editor.  Within Configuration Editor, go to Profiles, expand the profile, and select Globals.  Look for AllowedFile Types and add the file type, i.e, .xlsm and then click Save XML settings.You should then be able to add files to the Service Order with this extension without receiving the forbidden extension error.

Hello, I’ve got a Custom Logical Unit that I have been able to configure a Page Configuration for. I’m wanting to add it to 2 areas of IFS (Service / Maintenance) so that the user can navigate to the Custom Page rather than having to go in via Projection Configuration > Page Configuration and selecting View Page. The main area i’m having issue with is what the values are supposed to be: Navigator Designer - add newPage configuration​​​​​​Page Designer ValuesI am hoping someone will be able to assist because this was always easy as pie in EE, but seems to be a bit more convoluted in Aurena. Thanks,Sean

For an Apps9 customer, I have observed that when creating MCPR invoices the ‘Multi-Company Project Invoice No’ is not updated correctly in the customer transactions.1. Create MCPR transactions > Approve from both companies > Create the preliminary invoice from Employee company2. “Multi-Company Project Invoice No” field is updated correctly in Customer company transactions.3. Release the Preliminary invoice > Then final (PJ) invoice will be created4. ‘Employee Project Transactions’ > Note Invoice No is updated correctly5. Go to Customer Project transaction > ‘Multi-Company Project Invoice No’ is not updated correctly. Any reason for this?Thank you

Good day.  I was always under the impression that deliveries and/or release updates have to be installed in sequence.   I have been asked whether you can jump from say IFS Apps 10 UPD 8 to IFS Apps 10 UPD 10 without installing UPD 9to which I replied no but wanted to double-check in case I have mis-understood.Deliveries have to be done in sequence but what about release updates? Thanking you for reading.
