We recently upgraded to IFS 10 and there seems to be something in the system that is automatically creating customer order invoices if they are not manually created within 24 hours.  I can’t find a background job that is doing it, but it shows the invoices as created by the app owner.  Does anyone know what is causing this and how to stop it? 

Hi Experts There is a scenario in one of our customers that they make annual agreement with their supplier for purchase of Diesel. Quantity is agreed on for annual requirement but price is not. They ask for deliveries based on their requirement throughout the year and issue POs accordingly. Price will be charged based on current rate of diesel in the country. (Diesel prices change every month based on international market).Was thinking to use ‘supplier agreement – blanket orders’ but price is not fixed so………… How to run this scenario in IFS Applications 10?Regards

Hello I have recently noticed that our IFS Apps 10 is scheduling operation out of sequence, as below op 30 ‘Inspect and NDT to checklist’ has a planned op start date of 30/04/2021 which is 3 days before op 10 ‘Tack’ up is planned to start 05/05/2021. I have looked at the routing below for the part and can not see anything that jumps out as being out of the ordinary and the operations are in the correct sequence. both work centres are set up using Finite capacity, utilisation set at 100% and concurrent operations set to ‘Allowed -group start in sequence’ as below.does anyone know what could be causing the system to schedule out of sequence? regardsJamie 

Hi,I need your support on the subject.How can I go to the desired data in the Aurena (upd10) Lobby? For example, when I click on the A005 chart, I just want to see the relevant data. unfortunately, when I click on the data, I see all the data. How should I use parameters from Aurena?   

Upon DELETE of a Functional Object - is there a notation in the tables to indicate who deleted it?    Apart from History Logging, are there other ways to determine who may have deleted a functional or serial object in the Equipment_Object_Tab? 

Hi everyone, I am struggling to a little with document text and wondered if anyone can help. What I am trying to do is set a document text on specific non-inventory sales part so that any customer orders / invoices that are created using that sales part the document text is pulled through, but when I run a new customer order it doesn’t seem to pull the document text through.Can anyone point me in the right direction?Thanks in advance.Hayley

Hi,PROCEDURE Create_Connectivity_Message___ of InvoiceTransfer-Cust.plsql overtakes the Ext layer(PROCEDURE Create_Connectivity_Message___ of InvoiceTransfer-Ext.plsql) There are 5 $SEARCH and $REPLACE blocks within the procedure in the cust layer and one $SEARCH and $APPEND block. Encountered the error "Exception while generating code for InvoiceTransfer-Cust.utility Could not replace text " IF (send_itxml_ AND doc_type_ = 'TD04') THEN ..." in method Create_Connectivity_Message___"         for the 3rd $SEARCH and $REPLACE block "IF (send_itxml_ AND doc_type_ = 'TD04') THEN"      which  has been written after the $SEARCH and $APPEND block. Image 1Image 2Image 3Image 4Image 5I would like to know how to correct this type of an error when we want to implement several $SEARCH and $REPLACE blocks along with $SEARCH and $APPEND within the same procedure in the cust layer that overtakes the ext layer.Cheers,Priyanjala

Can someone shed some light on how Supplier Shipments work in IFS? Is it only for Supplier returns? I tried to look for learning resources in the community, but couldn’t find any other than regular shipments which I am familiar with. If you have a link or a IFS document, I would be grateful. F1 help details that Supplier returns work for rental returns. We haven’t purchased the Rental Management module from IFS. Hence I would overlook the rental management part at this time. 

Is it possible to change the global contex for a Aurena dialog page?In this example I want to modify the fields that is visible for the screen “Pick Part by Choice”. This page is possible to open from “Report picking of pick list lines”I can´t find where to modify the list in the page designer.  

I recently tried to install a Touch Apps server in my Apps 10 (UPD6) test environment, and continually received an authentication error even though we have confirm IFSMOBILITY user is active and password is correct. Once I cancelled the installation and tried to re-run, I not get the following immediately upon “Run as Administrator” on RAS installer:   

Hi, We have quite recently started with IFS and i am working with projects and tasks.We use tasks to report project time on however we struggle a bit if for example the designer can start a few days earlier than what we agreed on, and want to register time ahead of the activity start. Can you somehow use the offset function but with a negative number? So we do not need to change the activity early start and change the Gantt schedule? Appreciate all the help i can get./John

Hi, BackgroundTraditionally we have used PSO to get a list of appointment offers via ABE for a resource to be allocated to a task. The user, or customer online will select a single appointment offer. Nice and easy. QuestionIs it possible, or does anyone else out there allow multiple appointment offers to be accepted.Example being:The customer, or agent would select all the appointment offers they would be happy with, and this information is passed to the DSE. The idea being is that is would look to schedule (in this example) for Tuesday 27th as the soonest. But if anything was to happen, or tasks were to be created with a greater value, the DSE would know that it could move the task from the 27th to the 29th AM time slot as an example. Hope that makes sense. RegardsAdy

It looks like Invoice Status are slightly different between IFS9 and 10.We have noticed that in IFS9 we have “Not invoiced” and in IFS10 we have “Notinvoiced”.We upgraded from APP9 to APP10. For example, we have some searches that are based on that field (text), and because the Status text is not the same, the search return no values.Is this possible to edit, the status text in IFS10, to be exactly the same that we have in IFS9 today?

We are only just starting to make use of Aurena in my company and so are having some beginnners questions, that cant seem to find the answers to in the documentation.When editing a column, are the column width/size locked to the control sizes? As an example, we have a column in the Available Training events that we think is to narrow, but when increasing the control size to double it is too large. Is it possible to choose a character length for a column. We tried the maxlength, but with seemingly no effect Best regards

The Quantity column in Sales Object is missing in  APPS 10, should it not be there?There is a Unit of Measure column, but what good will that do if you can’t enter the quantity for that unit?

Hi all,working with UPD8. trying to add the below custom page in AURENA. This custom page must be added as a tab in ‘Project Definition’ function.    when I Click on ‘View Page’ no content is displayed ! The page works totally fine in EE. Following the documentation, I believe the next step will be to add it to the page designer but I don’t have a Data Source field to specify when I create a new Selectors  Help is much appreciated, 

Maybe better to ask, “how is Lot Batch Master” and the Expiration Date field within supposed to work?  How does Expiration Date load? I have shelf life setup for the item.  Looking at the view, raw data, I see Best_Before_Date does have a value, but Expiration_Date does not.I am trying to understand how IFS works.  We need to use an expiration date for our product and thought Lot_Batch_Master was the way to go.For what it is worth, Inventory Part in Stock record does have the Expiration_Date field loaded with proper shelf_life calculated date.IFS version 9.17 

I want to know how the Total Est Level Cost is calculated in shop order estimated cost?The product is weighted average costing based. 

In FSM Contracts, what's the difference between "Model Coverage" and "Product Coverage by Model" line types? They both seem to require a Model ID and Place ID.
