Hi, In one of our companies they get error when running currency revalution for May period, error message says: Field [currency_amount] is mandatory for Currency Reval Detail and requires a value We have not see this before and cannot manage to find out where it comes from.Have anyone seen this before and can give us some indication on where to look and fix?We are on IFS10 upd 3 Regards,Anna

Hi, Im creating a lobby with all the relevant information regarding a supplier. This lobby will be used when having supplier meetings to show the current status and overview. There is no problem creating counters, KPI and everything with numbers and have it sorted by the supplier. But when it comes to all the other data that is text-values in different columns, how do I present them the best? I would like to be able to show them in a list element like this:Information             ValueSupplier No              12345Name                         Supplier nameDel terms                  FCATransp days             5etc…I can transpose it like that in PL/SQL query using unpivot. But I cannot get this result table into a lobby data source. Is there any function that can get it into the lobby?(i know how to create a quick report or a normal list element with all the values in a diffrent column but it is not what im after)

Hi, On a task, when I add a part need , I always have the field : “Place ID from” initialized by the place for stock linked to the user who perfrom the action “part need”  (if the person has a place for stock documented,...of course I want to keep this relation)How could we prevent this initialization in the part need ?In many cases for a Part need, the Place ID of the request have a Place for stock linked to the place of the request (customer place).The stock is managed often by the team who is responsible of the customer or a Central warehouse.So, the place “Place ID from” should be initialized by the place for stock linked to the customer place.How can we do that ? Thanks and Regards

When we are working with the POSTMAN IDE, need to create REQUESTs from API.  In Aurena, we can follow the below REQUEST  structure to generate it. https://<APP_SERVER>/int/SOAPGATEWAY Using the "API Explorer" window, we are able to get the exact API documentation. Afterward, we are able to find the REQUEST from the Doc.  In order to find the request, what I'm doing is, Finding the name of the tab. 2. Finding the Entity.  Finally using the Entity and searching it the API Doc. Sometimes for point 2, the problem is we may have to use EntitySet rather than Entity.  For example, if we need to get a company from the companies on the list we may need to use EntitySet. My question is, is there any other way to find the API REQUEST rather than what I'm doing?

As per default all sales lines in the work order is invoicable. There is no setting that makes all the lines default NOT invoicable? 

While Receiving an item (Register Arrivals) the whole qty is being Reserved automatically,in IFS10In APP8 we used to Reserve manually after Receipt.. 

A customer raised the following concern in Application 10:“Earliest Unlimited Supply Date” used for Purchase Parts, applied/functioning for Manufactured parts. What is the feature in the application which handles “Earliest Unlimited Supply Date” but for manufactured parts?We must be able to visualize short-term disturbances i.e. prolonged lead times for manufactured parts, more or less the same idea/logic as for Purchased parts.Example/scenario:The standard lead time is 10d for manufacture. part X.When the production planned to finalize the production schedule it outlines that the shop order (best possible) is planned to be finished on day 15 = true lead time is 15d as the SO can’t be improved.Standard lead time could not be kept/respected. Hi  I would like to export the project gnatt chart from IFS Apps 9 into Microsoft excel and modify certain details in this chart before sending to a customer. I have downloaded the add on’s from the add on screen in IFS but I am unsure of the next steps. Can anyone provide further information? ThanksJohn

Hi,  Currently I’m having the need of updating data daily to inventory_part_planning view. And I was recommended to use INSERT_OR_UPDATE procedure for this. How can I selectively update just for some fields, e.g safety stock, order point? Much appreciated if someone has a user guideline for this type of procedure.

Hi , We have a requirement to call a Order Report(IFS Report Designer Report) from Aurena page. Just like we do with Custom menu in IEE. I could not find an option in Aurena. Can anyone please help me if we have a option or is it a limitation in Aurena? We are using Application 10 Update 10. Thanks in advance.

Hi, once there is an upgrade of IFS applications, are there any instructions to upgrade BA reports that a customer should follow? (for an eg: Using BR report upgrade utility, report validation etc.) A customer has been upgraded from Apps8 to Apps10 UPD8 and having lots of errors in their reports. When the reports are validated, validation fails. But it does not show what the reason for validation fail. Do we need to do client debugging to identify the cause?

When Databases migrated or moved to new VMs, IFS instances needs to reconfigure accordingly. But reconfigure keeps failing as connection string attached to IFS APPS10 can't be change when initiating reconfigure. Please see attached snap . Any help would be greatly appreciated! 

Once I change the columns order or the visibility in Aurena, the change is correctly saved but I can not see it in my personal profile. Here is an example, I have changed lines on Customer Order like this:But in my profile I see only these changes: Does it mean that changes are saved somewhere else? Or they are not visible from any client?Thank you for your answers

Hello!I searched through the forums but could not find this specific error. When generating a calendar after a new exception was inserted we get an error with the text ([..] below were removed by me):Error while updating Purchase Order Line. Order No: [..]  Line No: [..], Release No: 1, Planned Receipt Date: [..]. ORA-20110: SuppBlkPeriod.NO_CHANGES_ALLOWED_: No changes allowed when Supplier Agreement status is Cancelled.I discussed this with our system architect who hadn’t seen this error before. I found the cancelled agreements in the module Procurement→ Supplier->Pricing→ Supplier agreements but I don’t know how to solve this issue or why this would affect the calendar. We’re using IFS 8 

 Hello, Within the last 2 months or so our FSM system has been creating additional part needs for place & locations that are already at their min/max.  This is not consistent for all parts or places and I have no idea what else to look at.  Any insight of where to start looking would be great!  Our replenishment process has not changed at all.   I’ve included three screen shots of one part_id in a few screens to also show that in the “On Demand” hyperlink qty it is showing a qty of (1) but when clicking on that link, there are 3 different part needs out there.    

We are testing the installation of UPD10 (went from UPD8 to UPD10).  In UPD8 we were able to see and run Quick Reports in the Aurena view ‘Order Reports’. After installing UPD10 they are no longer listed.  I tried creating a Permission Set, granting access to the Quick Report Object in EE and also granting Report Access to the same Permission Set in Aurena but still no Quick Report is listed.  I searched through the Technical Documentation and did not find anything.  Has anyone run across this issue in UPD10?

I am trying to understand the difference between these two. Any information regarding how do these two tabs work will be useful.  

We have a slow running overnight job - Calculate Customer Credit which runs on default queue - ‘0’. This is taking a long time to run, so would like to move a custom job which keeps stalling behind this queue to a faster queue.Does anyone know the line of code i need to specifiy the batch queue the custom job will run on?
