Our operations team does not want to inventory their parts but want to be able to generate labels from IFS. I believe this is only possible if the parts are inventoried (bar code labels) but I wanted to double check before I said anything. Thank you.

Good day to you. I always check for Invalid Objects especially prior to any delivery installation and again afterwards.  The most populate items are usually require compiling are AQ$ files see below:  How can I find out what has caused these views/queues to be invalid again? Thanking you.

When loading external invoices I am getting the following error for one of our taxable customers.The Customer Tax Info does not exist.  We have checked the customer master record and it appears to be set up correctly.

Good Morning all - I have a Custom Object list of Sub Contractors which we use within the Work Order to highlight various Sub Contractors attending against the chosen Work Order. Can anyone advise how i can arrange these contractors to appear in the drop down menu alphabetically? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

We are running Apps10 UPD8.  I’m looking for a way to correct a user error on a Purchase Order. We issues a purchase order to a supplier (qty 1500) that included 7 components shipped on a customer order (using components for Purchase Order).  They made a mistake and did an RMA for qty 13 on 1 component.  The supplier actually received 1500 and built 1500 for us.Now we are trying to receive the PO.  IFS will only let us receive 1487 because it thinks the vendor only has enough components to build 1487.We are trying to figure out how to correct this.  Any ideas?

The problem sent by customer: “ When I open an image from IFS in Windows photo viewer and want to save it as a PDF but with that you can only see the edges of each page in the file (middle does not show).We have a colleague who uses Microsoft document image viewer (2010) where everything opens as normal, however, this is an outdated program and is no longer available for download.Changing the default .Tif viewer to Windows 10 “Photos” app also does not work as only the first page in the .Tif files is shown, even though the file contains several pages. Which program is recommended for use in opening .Tif files in IFS? “

How can it possible? Why the state is null? Because of that, I could not change to released to planned. Have you ever seen that error? And how can I solve it? I don't think changing the table manually is not a good idea.

I have multiple address lines for few of my customers. Since we can have only Address1 and Address2 object in IFS.. I tried to increase the Address1 text box length in Address presentation. OK and Cancel buttons is not moving automatically to fit in lengthy Address 1 and Address 2 boxes.

Me again! Hi!I’m not sure the best way to go about this. I tend to over-complicate things!As everyone is aware, app messages write to the FNDCN_Application_Message_TAB. For a very specific type of error, I need an email to go out and say “look at this record - it has an error”. I set up a custom API that writes those very specific messages to a new table. I can set up a scheduled task to run every hour to fill that table, and then set up an email to run when there are new records added, but that would mean getting one email per record, not per incident. One thing failing could affect dozens and dozens of records and write mass amounts of data to the table. I need a way to somehow send every message but not each in its own email.Thoughts?          

We have discovered that we cannot enter invoices and use the ‘copy unreceived po lines’ option when the purchase order is centralized.  No lines are returned.  Does anyone have a solution for this?

Am trying to create an approval routing for customer payment off sets where we usually perform write offs (Part of outstanding customer balance or all).I have created the object connection, and set the approval template up itself, but I cant seem to be able to apply the routing. Is there any limitiations with this funcitonality that doesnt allow approval routings to be used?? The options appear, but i cant select which template i want to use. Or even attach a documentHere is the object connection setup

Semi new to IFS and I have been tasked to track Demand Requisitions from date created through authorization to PO.   Looking to track how long it takes for folks to authorize requisitions basically.  In the past they have been ‘sat on’ and never flowed through the system quickly enough. Can anyone assist with a query that will show me created date, ALL who are required to authorize and the date this was done to PO?   Appreciate any help.
