Why does IFS make a request for an Agreement instead of a request for order when you perform this action from the Project quotation list? Is this something you can setup?

I would like to make a request for order quotation instead of an agreement quotation for a part.

Hi @MR10 ,

As per the current design;

  • Request for Supplier Agreement Quotation is created for parts.
  • Request for Order Quotation is created for no-part items.

If you wish to change it then I believe you will have to go for a modification.

Hi Tharindu,

Thanks for the answer.

This will be the reason the customer will not use this functionality, so I'll remove it out of scope since I would like to write a mod for it.

Hi Enzo,

But then you don't use the Project Quotation List functionality right? Then you go for Request for Quotation via the Purchase Requisition?
