Hello Community, After I updated the “Delivery Terms” basic data description value in English.  The new description does not update in the French side of IFS. (When I log-in using French as a language). What am I missing?  See screenshots for more details. We are currently using IFS9.fig1- Shows the new description value updated in the English side.fig2- Shows the French side is keeping the old description value. it did not update to the new description value. Thanks,JL

Hi, I’m getting the following error while trying to post a manual supplier invoice. The accounting period is open for user group AC. I believe this error is arising because it is trying to post to the “IB” ledger, which is an internal ledger I created while testing out the budget module. I am a little stumped because I am not seeing anywhere to explicitly state that this should post to the GL. Best Regards,

We are on IFS v9, Oracle 12c (Enterprise Ed).As IFS/Oracle customers, are we licensed to use Java for IFS Print agents/Middleware?Does this depend on version? If there is a specific version we should be using, which is it?Any thoughts would be welcome.(Of course I understand licenses may differ across different customers/configurations, just getting a feel of opinions)ThanksMike

If you have a Maintenance Employee in multiple resource groups and you’re using Work Task Clockings from mWO, IFS will put the resource group linked to the demand as the resource group on Work Task Clocking.  And if you’re doing service it will drive the correct sales pricing.  Issue I have is regardless of how an organization bills an employee time, he should always be costed the same (like a default resource group for cost).  Is there a way to do this?

A customer is having issues with the Aurena Scan it App.It says, the redirect URI is invalid. This is for an IFS 10 Customer within IFS Managed Cloud. I do not have access credentials for the admin console nor do I have access to the Admin console itselft as the link is not working. I guess there are some port restrictions and it is not forwarded. How can I request the Addition of Redirect URIs within a cloud managed environment?Kind regards,Tobias

Dear Colleagues and experts! The customer is using IFS10. Including azure AD authentication. Now, partners should connect to the B2B portal with their mail addresses. There are two options currently discussed:Create an Azure AD Guest Account and then.. somehow use the default mail address as the directory ID in IFS 10.. i guess.Someone experienced in this setup? Would be great if you can drop me a mail. I have searched LCS, knowledge base and the community already. Applying a different logic for the authentication as customer has asked for Here is what, the colleague quoted:  Another point there is really no way to use instead, this Azure AD based GETGET https://login.microsoftonline.com/{tenant}/oauth2/v2.0/authorize?client_id=6731de76-14a6-49ae-97bc-6eba6914391e&response_type=id_token&redirect_uri=http%3A%2F%2Flocalhost%2Fmyapp%2F&response_mode=form_post&scope=openid&state=12345&nonce=678910  The following for Azure AD B2CGET https://maxonmotorb2c.b2c

Dear Community! For a customer, we are currently trying to add a connection between IFS 10 in the cloud and a server on customer side to connect securly. This is for IFS Connect and a routing address to connect to a scale unit.We have already added all possible certificates to IFS in the keystore window, but it still not working. We are getting the errorExpetion while sending dataCaused by: ifs.fnd.base.SystemException: Exception while obtaining SSL socket factoryCaused by: java.io.IOException: toDerInputStream rejects tag type 45. Any suggestions on that? Any help is appreciated. We are now struggling with this topic for over a month now with nobody in IFS Germany being able to check on this.Kind regards,Tobias

Hi Experts,In IFS 10, we could found the column definition of Code Part(account, code b to code J) in pre accounting table is varchar2(10). But the length of them is varchar2(20) in Code Part Defintion table actually. It’s quite strange and make a lot of troubles for customers. Anyone know the reason and when they could be in same length varchar2(20) ? Thank you!

Hello, We are in the process of upgrading to IFS10. in IFS 8 we are still using the old field “Page Footing” in Company/Invoice/General”. Can anybody provide a useful documentation how “Document Footer” is intended to work? Application Base Setup\Enterprise\Company\Basic Data\Document FooterBest regards Johannes

Hi,I have been trying to set a single occurrence customer order but I get the following error message when I try to do it. Is there a particular tax code/ steps to follow in order to complete the transaction?

Hi Everyone,I’m new to the Astea product, and while testing the Alliance Browser Version 15.3, I ran into an error while using the Reprint Invoice module, when I click on the Report option the application crashes. At first glance to me it seems like a permission issue, but I’d be thankful for an expert opinion and possible fix. Thanks. Reprint ModuleError Message

Hi, in our customer’s APPS10 environment; 1. Go to an Assembly Shop Order with custom fields defined in ShopMaterialAllocUtil (Under manuak resevatuons detail > RMB> Custom fields)2. Now RMb on on line? Manual Reservations3. Check 'Show all reservable parts' checkbox4. You get an oracle error saying"invalid table nameFailed executing query (ORA-00903: invalid table name)"At the same time, while the aboce check box is checkedRMB on the detail tab> Custom Objects> Fields> OverviewYou get another error saying;"---------------------------IFS Applications---------------------------The view for this page and logical unit do not match. It is not possible to add a Custom Field to this page---------------------------[OK]---------------------------" Is there a fix for this issue?

Hi, MRO customers have highlighted a situation in MRO interim order structure; when you try to perform automatic disassembly level by level via the tree navigator the ‘include sublevel’ checkbox is automatically checked. You can obviously uncheck this prior to performing the disassembly, however the customers’ argument is that when you want to perform disassembly level by level this checkbox shouldn’t be automatically checked, unlike when you’re trying to perform the disassembly via the RMB option in the header. Will this functionality be changed?

Hi, For MRO customers who have migrated from APPS8 to APP10 there’s an issue where disconnected repair orders are not shown under manual pegging. I.e. these orders have been disconnected within the APPS8 environment prior to data migration. Is there a fix available for the issue?

Dear community, We have non inventory sales parts setup that have a Tax code of G1, which includes tax, however for our overseas customers we do not want this we want the tax code G2, no tax. The customer has a Tax Code setup as G2 however the non inventory sales part has G1 - other than a custom event is there a system way to set the tax code on the lines to inherit from the customer record not from the non inventory sales part? Many thanks, David.

Hello,Where can I download the IFS Report Designer for version 8.2 ?We did download new Report Designer version but this not supported our IFS SP2 version.

Hi Experts, I have a situation where I need to compare values in a specific column of a specific table to all the other tables which has the same column. This is a FSM database and I need to query the orphan data (Child values which doesn't have parent values) sometimes generated when upgrade scripts are run. As an example, imagine there is a table called "A" and in that table there is a column called "B".There are numerous other tables which has this same column "B". So table A's "B" column is the parent and all other "B" columns are child columns. So other tables' "B" column can't have values which are not in table "A"s "B" column. I need a query to do following things, 1. To know which other tables have this column "B"2. To know which of these columns have invalid values and to show what those invalid values are Can someone suggest a query to do that ?Best Regards,Atheeq

Hi All you lovely helpful folk, I’m trying to create a RMB menu from the shop order operation tool to the Quick Report In Work page in the service and maintenance module. All our manufacturing tools have a one to one relationship with a serial object and are named exactly the same, therefore the TOOL_ID always equals the MCH_CODE - so the user see’s no difference. However when I’ve created the below custom menu I get the following error message when trying to use it - is this just not possible in our Apps9 update 17 IFS or do I need to do something else?

Hello,Our current version is Apps 10 Upd 9.I recently created two custom projections to be able to utilize REST to load data.  One of them worked flawlessly with no extra interaction.  The second one threw a ORA-6550 error.  Upon looking into this error I found this in the odp-default-log.log file:com.ifsworld.fnd.common.exceptions.DatabaseException: Failed to execute the generated database statement …. more stacktrace not displayed …..Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-06550: line 1, column 35:PLS-00302: component 'NEW__' must be declaredORA-06512: at "CHIE1APP.PROJECTION_CONFIG_UTIL_API", line 174ORA-06550: line 1, column 7:PL/SQL: Statement ignoredORA-06512: at "CHIE1APP.PROJECTION_CONFIG_UTIL_API", line 156ORA-06512: at "CHIE1APP.PROJECTION_CONFIG_UTIL_API", line 179.Investigating that API it is trying to call my logical unit _CLP.New__ method.  I have confirmed that the _CLP package is created and has the .New__ method.  There are no compile errors on the _CLP package or BODY.

I am trying to see the total records remaining to count subtracting the records that have been received this year. below is the SQL i am using and i get the same number of  records with out excluding the records that were received this yearexample what i am seeing using my current SQL 21 records 6 received this year column should read 15 records but it is still reading 21 records SUM(CASE WHEN RECEIPT_DATE > to_date( '#START_OF_THIS_YEAR#', 'YYYY-MM-DD-HH24:MI:SS' ) and LAST_COUNT_DATE > trunc(to_date( '#START_OF_THIS_YEAR#', 'YYYY-MM-DD-HH24:MI:SS' )) + ( 1 - 1/ ( 60*60*24 ) )THEN '0' ELSE '1' END) Thank you for any help
