If you have a Maintenance Employee in multiple resource groups and you’re using Work Task Clockings from mWO, IFS will put the resource group linked to the demand as the resource group on Work Task Clocking.  And if you’re doing service it will drive the correct sales pricing.  Issue I have is regardless of how an organization bills an employee time, he should always be costed the same (like a default resource group for cost).  Is there a way to do this?

Hi,

If you have a demand line then it will take the demand resource group on work task Clockings.

If you don’t have a demand line, then it will take the  resource group defined as "Default Time Type" in resource details.

If you don’t have both above, then it will take the primary parent resource group. (can find on Resource details > Connections > Company)

Hope this will help you.

Thanks @Dakshinie Wickramasinghe.  That Primary Parent Resource Group was what I was looking for. :)
