Hi,  We configured one Global Commit Rule with the following parameters, nevertheless it’s not committing any activity. Is something wrong with the rule? Or do we need to set anything else? Best regards, 

The password of the IFSSYS account has only been changed from the database. After a while ifssys account got locked out.We stopped the servers and changed the ifssys password using "Installer > Change system user passwords". "ManagedServer1" failed to start when we restarted the servers. The "ManagedServer1.log" file is attached below. We experiencing this same error. But, There is no such screen in Admin Console.. 

Both Customer and Supplier have tabbed screens ‘Invoice’ for LU IdentityInvoiceInfo.If I want a permission set to view the Customer > Invoice as read-only, but Supplier > Invoice as read/write, is that possible?I have tested different options but not found the right one within the permission set detail (have been editing the ‘Database Objects’ but they seem to be linked for Customer/Supplier eg both must be read only or both must be read/write.Any solution?Thanks

Can someone with IFS Cloud 21R1 explain how Business Roles are granted within the Permission structure?  We’re currently in V9 and investigating how roles such as Buyer, Planner, Requisitioner, Finance User Groups, etc are granted within the user permission controls.

We run IFS Apps9 Update16. We have 2 Application servers hosting 4 Managed Servers in a IFS Application clustered configuration.We are looking to change the IFSSYS password via the installer change password option, but I am wondering if the new password change will be pushed through to the 2nd App Server Host? or would I need to recreate the clustered install/manually intervene in some way?We have tested the usual change, but our test system is still not yet clustered.Would be good to hear from any other clustered users.ThanksMike

I downloaded and tried installing the provided fix however after entering the IFSAPP password and clicking Next I received the following Parameter error:sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path validation failed: java.security.CertPathValidatorException: Path does not chain with any of the trust anchors

Is there a way to highlight/select all lines on a screen (‘Parts’ for example) without having to click on the first record and drag down until the bottom of the page? This can be cumbersome when you have hundreds/thousands of records. 

I’ve created a new shop order by following a training doc support. I’ve got the following error message : “Structure Revision is null. Issuing is not allowed”. And during the flow, the following question (Popup) appears : “The shop order is for revision of part XXX-YYY. The location you selected in row 1 have different revison for the part. Do you want to continue?” I’ve answerd yes after checking that they are both rev 1. All advices are welcome. Thank you.

Hi All, I’ve created a persistent custom field in CustomerOrderLine LU and i’m trying to update the custom field through a custom event action.Event :Event Action :  The event is fired when the customer order line gets released but it never gets inside the FOR LOOP inside the SQL statement.You can see that I've added an error message to check if it gets inside the FOR LOOP but it never does. However, I can update the custom field value from PLSQL Developer just by giving the parameters correctly.Am i missing something here?

Is there a way in Apps8 to put automatically a generated report into Document management and attach it to the business object ?When printing a purchase order, we would like to have the report created in the docman and attach automatically it to the concerned logical unit. And after that, how to send by email the attached documents ? For example, the drawing is attached to the inventory part. With the object connection transformation, the drawing is coming in the attachments of the PO. But how to include this document in the email ?

Hi,The error was recorded in the error log at the end of the installation of a build for Apps8 version. Even though the Installation was successful and did not show any errors at the completion, yet the following error was recorded in the error.log file in the logs:!!!Error deploying file install.tem at 2021-07-14 12:07:00!!!Error occurred while executing Plsql BlockBEGIN Security_SYS.Refresh_Active_List__(3);END;[DATABASE][Oracle JDBC Driver][Oracle]ORA-01652: unable to extend temp segment by 128 in tablespace TEMPORA-06512: at "IFSAPP.SECURITY_SYS", line 1721ORA-06512: at line 2Does anyone know how to overcome this error, or what the next step is?ThanksSobha

Has anyone worked out a way to report on concurrent clockings. e.g. Employee AShop Order 123    Started:  07/04/2021  10:00  Finished:  07/04/2021  16:00Shop Order 124    Started   07/04/2021   10:00  Finished:  07/04/2021 16:00Shop Order 125    Started   07/04/2021    10:15  Finished:  07/04/2021  12:15 Report would currently show  (6 + 6 + 2) = 14 hoursWhereas, we would want it to show 6 hours as he has only taken  6 hours (10:00 - 16:00) Any ideas on how I could achieve this. Thanks

When Shop order is created through project Delivery, operation number is missing on the shop order material tab. User has to update the operation number manually on the Material tab after shop order creation. Is this the standard behavior of the IFS Application or is there a way that we can make the application fetch the relevant operation number?

Hi, You can add a note on a supplier invoice in the menu Supplier Invoices Analysis (right mouse button > Notes). I want to display the note text (‘test’ in the screenshot below) in Business Reporter, therefore I need to create a new field (Relations for Facts) with a sql statement. But I do not know the correct sql statement. Is there someone who can help me?   

I am trying to add a user to a new profile. Because I have some custom field only available under a different profile. I know I can edit the personal profile. But I have more than 20 users that need to be add to the profile where I have the custom field. We are currently using IFS9

During investigation of customer's environment revealed that the INACTIVE session count is over 1500 always, Should the INACTIVE session be killed automatically when the idle time expired? Checked the Database profile IFS_INETRNAL which is used for Database users, the IDLE_TIME is set to DEFAULT. Should this be set to UNLIMITED ? Should there be a time on MAX IDLE TIME parameter OR leave as is where it always maintain 1500 odd INACTIVE sessions. This inactive sessions will hold on to resources with no legitimate reason and will create Possible performance issue. Any recommendations/changes needs to stop  INACTIVE session count getting higher values ?
