Hello,We’re running apps10 upd8 on cloud. I’m creating a new custom field on the CustomerOrderLine LU. It is a read-only field, type Select, and the select statement is:SELECT IFSAPP.CURRENCY_RATE_API.Get_Currency_Rate(:contract, 'EUR', 'B', :DATE_ENTERED) from dualThe data type is Number with format Currency.But at the end it is giving me this error:I need to use the creation date of the row.How can I avoid the error ?Thanks to anyone that can respond.

Our customer (15.1HF10)  has 3 application servers. Only on one of the application server the process flow task executor service is running.What we have seen is that when an API message generated trough a process Flow was processed and the transaction “done” by the API was very long, the others API messages in the wf_rule_tasks_runapi table were not processed ,waiting that the first to be processed. So the service takes messages one by one. If we start the task executor services on the 2 others application server could the api messages be managed in simultaneous (that is to say 3 by 3) ? is it recommanded or this will conduct to lock processes ? thanks for your feedback

Is there a way to make changes to any transaction on a Mixed Payment when using the External Payment File to bring in the payment file?  Could it be because we are not using a system defined template?  I am just curious as Icould not see anything that says it is not edible.Thanks for your help.Laura

Hi All,A user is experiencing the error ‘Voucher Type is missing.’ when he tries to Authorize the expense sheet.Voucher Type drop down doesn’t contain data to select and as I know this should be fetched automatically.Kindly advise me to where to check, in order to fix this issue.Thank you in advance!

Hi,Historically we have had FSM and PSO and all data initialised into PSO each day for scheduling.FSM has always been the master for the data in terms of Rosters, Shifts, Resources, Calendar Exceptions etc.Our Resource Planning Team work 100% in FSM. This does give us some restrictions. I started to look at ARP in PSO (early 2020) and could see straight-away this would give us some massive benefits to how we operate and manage resources. Unfortunately some pandemic came along and objectives / priorities were changed. However this is something I want to revisit. I am therefore asking the community if any customers have made the jump from FSM nightly 'INITs' to ARP for managing resources?If so is there anything that can be shared in terms of steps to setting up ARP.Things like migrating current work calendar's and rosters reducing set-up time for cutover.How to manage updates in ARP i.e. calendar exceptions, shift data, and feed that back into FSM. We use the audit functionality to perform production line audits.  NCRs are then created and connected to the audit.  Some of these NCRs require action others do not.  We would like to be able to close the audit independent of the NCR status.  The documentation I've found so far states this is possible, however, it's not allowing us to close the audit's without first closing the NCRs.  This is an issue for us because while the audit is complete, the NCR may need to remain open until the non conformity is corrected.Can you please provide documentation on how to close audits with attached NCRs without having to close the NCRs first?Regards,Peshala.

Hello dear all!We will print Handling Unit Labels directly from Shop Floor Workbench.We start on Shop Floor Workbench, RMB - Approve Operation …. but no Handling Unit label are printed.The following points have been carried out:Open: Manufacturing\Shop Floor Reporting\Shop Floor Workbench Select a Work Center RMB „Approve Operation“ on a SO No. Insert „Qty to report“ – for example 1 – OK Receive Reserved Lots – OK Attach Parts to Handling Units for Receipt – activate „Print Handling Unit Labels“ - OK The Windows are closing, but no Handling Unit labels are printedAlso, we don't see any reports in the report archive, meaning that anything was printed at all.Only the following workaround is work, to create a handling unit label:Warehouse Management\Quantity in Stock\Handling Units In StockWe open the Handling Unit, RMD – Print this handling unit label – IFS created the label.Why does ifs not create a handling unit label? Hi everyone, in Apps10 EE I'd like to know if it's possible to cancel a WO even if a PO linked to it has already been received in inventory and closed. I'd add that I've tried to unreserve all in inventory but nothing better. Now I have no reserved parts for this WO, a closed PO but when I try to cancel it, the system pops up an error message telling that I cannot cancel a work task becasue a PO exists on it. However, this last one is closed... Does it mean that we're not allowed to cancel a WO after receiving parts from a PO on it?Thanks

Hi All,When we have a location that is connected to the customer address it must be a visit address for service to use the address on work orders. When we create a new service request using this functional object that has that location ID. Service request starts off with no address on it. If the party type ‘location’ is connected, address will be fetched correctly. This makes using the customer address connection completely useless on creating service requests. Hi Everyone.Is there an option in MWO Maintenance Aurena App to put the same functionality of the mWorkOrder app? Tried to find a solution in App Designer but I couldn’t. I’m using UPD12 latest version of the app> 10.14.1362.0 The buttons inside the work task step to navegate from one to another. Please see prints bellow? E.g.: In new app, I need to enter into the step, write a remark, set as Done, go back to the list and enter into the second step and so on.  From UPD8 I think, Rnd has created two buttons Previous and Next inside the step to avoid do that.Tks a lot.mWorkOrder app: MWO Maintenance.

Hi,When creating new users using the HR API, the ADMIN organization is assigned to the users by default, however in restricted mode. You must then manually assign a Primary Organization through the GUI.How do other IFS Maintenix users handle this when loading multiple users using the HR API?

HiQuestion from our users: is it OK to set the e-mail field for contacts to being non-mandatory (with Customizer)? Or is there a setting for this?If this has to be mandatory - what about contacts without e-mail addresses upgraded from v12.5 - will they cause problems?

Hello,I am hoping someone can help me with this. We leverage contacts for CRM and Quotations. We continue to notice that there is not a standard phone formating for contact phone number. We can you (XXX)XXX-XXXX, XXX-XXX-XXXX, or XXXXXXXXXX. Is there a way to set a default formating so that when users enter the phone number it appears consistently within IFS? Thanks!Carrie Tietjen

Will there be a performance impact if a validation XML is used without max rows? Let’s say the hierarchy select in the validation XML generates thousands of records. Will it be beneficial to limit it to just one (or the first) row?In SQL, it’s typical to use a top X statement to minimize any performance impact.  

We are in IFS App10 Upd9.Need to design a solution where in the absence of a Sales part in the Supply site, the incoming customer order triggers a notification and possibly creates the inventory part / sales part. (Master Part is available) automatically upon approval. Is there somebody already using a similar setup? Need not be the same. What would be the best way to implement this? Please share your ideas. Why are my zero dollar time transactions not transferring on work tasks. 

Hi All,We have a request to update an existing part.Currently the part’s Lot/Batch tracking has setup as ‘Not Lot Tracking’ and need to update to ‘Order Based’. When we try to do this we are getting an error ‘The part exists in inventory with Not Lot Tracking’ because we can see data in Inventory part in stock.Kindly advise me to how to proceed with this.I really appreciate if you can give me your opinion.   

Hi, We are using V14.5 and are trying to get a report from Astea to show “on time” reporting, so we want to compare the work date/time that they report that they did the work, to the actual date/time they wrote the report.  The problem were are having is to find the date that they first wrote their report.  All the dates we have found available get updated if anyone else makes a change to the status at a later date/time.Does anyone have any suggestions of how/where we can capture the date that an SA first creates their Activity start and end dates/times?  We are trying to encourage on-time, on-site reporting so need a reliable way to know which SA’s are achieving that and of course, which are not.
