Hello,I'm trying to make it the employees as simple as possible. Having said that, it means I have to setup the basic data so their time registration is easy. What I want is that employees book 8 hours via project, shop order or work order. Those hours will be automatically linked to wage code NORMAL.How to setup the basic data, which will move additional hours into wage code OVERTIME?Anybody have a document on that or at least some tips?Thanks in advance,Steve

We are validating a custom field which works but the user would like the ability to free type in the field as well as the list takes quite a while to load and they use this screen all day long. Is there any way to validate against a list without making the user pick from the list? Any advice would be appreciated. We are in IFS v9  Regards, Patrick Naughton  

Description:When uploading files in FSM the files are automatically added to the Azure Blob Storage. But when pressing delete in FSM, only the link in FSM is deleted, the file is not deleted in the Azure Blob Storage.For us  (Electrolux FSM implementation project) this is a big issue since we need to remove certain files after usage. In this case it's customer signatures fetched in the FSM Mobile that must be deleted after the customer invoice is sent.Why is the Blob not deleted when deleting in FSM? Please note we are not using any customization, we are using the out of the box solution.We seek advise on the above please.

Hi all, Working on IFS10, UPD9. Did anyone find out how to change the visible items on a Card View? When in list view, you have the option to choose the fields to be shown  When in card view, this option is not here. Any tips here?

Apparently there is a requirement to have the name of the customer defined in chinese characters for the jinsui invoices / interface. Anyone know why this is not part of standard, or is it so that the customer name must be written in chinese characters (but this is not ok if it is a global customer used for other entities in IFS from my point of view)

Hello,We are using Apps 10, UPD9. We need to reserve project inventory to work tasks on our outages. We moved standard inventory into project inventory to keep the inventory reserved to the engagement. When we attempt to reserve the project inventory to the work order, it will not let us reserve this. It is causing us to have a halt in our repairs by not being able to reserve. We have set the material lines as project inventory, we can see the qty on hand in the project, but when we try to RMB reserve inventory that option is greyed out for us. We currently have a work around to move it to std inventory to reserve while the work order is connected to a project. But this is VERY painful.Does anyone know if there is a step we might be missing?  This print screen shows the work order connection to the activity   The Work Task set to ReleasedRMB > Reserve but an Information Message is displayed  After getting that message, the items can be reserved manually.  What is preventing the RMB

Hello,are there any ways to perfom some checks to maintain the safety and quality of DMS content?security related: make sure that before saving a document into the database, it’s free of any virus and any malicious content quality related: when there are many documents, it can be complex for users to check if the document they upload already exists and could be connected, or should be created. It’s far more quick and easy to upload the document. Are there any embedded features to search for potential candidates? There are DMS engines performing this kind of check. Thanks

Is there a plan to deprecate “Execute Online SQL” Event Action type within the next 3 Cloud releases? (before 23R2). The query builder is redesigned to use REST APIs now. So wondering if there is something similar planned for Online SQLs as well?

Hi ! Everybody, Is there anyone can help me on this topic?I USE IFS8. In function Solution Manager\Configuration\Logs and Queues\Setup History Log, how can I see all settings existing quickly? So I know if they is the log setting already which I want. Otherwise I have to take about 3 minutes to find the component, table and field.   And is there anyone can give me a simple instruction on how to choice Sub forum? I really don’t know which sub forum should I select for this question. 

Hello, When I add a lookup to a parameter in a lobby, the web client displays both the code and description.  It’s fine in Smart Client. Any idea why it’s happening in the web client?

How does the supersede option work in IFS? What is the function? How does it work, PO? Can somebody provide me scenarios for what and when to utilize it? Provide a screenshot; It will be great. 

In Aurena is it possible to offset customer invoices in GBP with a payment received in USD?

I Would like to receive handling unit out of Shop floor workbench for shop order with 2 operation lines with back flushing material. By partly approving the last operation is would like to receive the handling unit. But I get te underlaying error.If I receive manual in receive shop order and check checkbox auto report operations, then it will work. Why is there no check box for auto report operations in het shop floor workbench? Please advise how I can make this work in the shop floor work bench.

IFS Apps 10.   Starting REST Service Registering: REST Service started on https://reportserver01:8200/ Failed to Remove Printing Node: Unauthorised Failed to Register node:  IFSL Reason for error:  Unauthorised State Changed:  Error   I have checked the user/password combination and they are correct.   Any ideas why there is an Unauthorised error.  What causes this?   Thanking you.

Hi Team, We have upgraded FSM DB to 6.9 from 6.5 on the Oracle DB server (system: XX) and trying to upgrade FSM App client and mobile on the App server (system: YY) using this DB server name but the DB connection doesnt get established.When DB connection is tested during Application server installation it always ends up in error ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified   DB upgrade was successful on Db server (system name: XX) Present Status of the Upgrade:FSM Database:prodfsm dbuserVersion: FSM6.9.7746 17-3-2021 10:31:27FSM Client: FSMVersion: 6.5.7417.14159 Please advise how to fix this connection issue. Regards,Jithesh 

Hi.we experienced that ADMIN role can be overridden by other role which is Exaample:person 007 has roles ADMIN and DISPATCHER.Role DISPATCHER has setup like this: Having that setup for DISPATCHER role, the ADMIN role is overridden.  Person 007 cannot modify any other person anymore. Does anybody know whether it is a correct behavior that ADMIN role can be overridden by other role which has Admin menu as READ-ONLY?Can you explain why it is setup like that? Look forward to your feedback.~Juni

Hi All,The application allows you to define an overwriting tax amount or percentage, which can be used to change the tax amount in a manual supplier invoice. Hello everyone, One of the customer’s inquired following question,“How do I change the rate charged on Reminder invoices? Now it is set to 18% which is bit steep. We need this rate to be changed 2 times a year also so it would be good if we can do it ourselves. For now, we need it to be 8%.
