Hi All,Do you have any idea how to get the login screen again to enter different username and password.I have mistakenly left the Remember Password ticked, when login with another user for some testing. Please let me know if you have any idea to get that login screen back?Thank you!  

Hi Guys, When we add a sticky note for a record in MRP Part information window, that same sticky note being appeared for a different record with same site information. This can be observed in both Apps 9 & Apps 10 core environments. So my question is, does this behavior a bug or a standard behavior of the application? 

I wish to use IP aliases on my server, and only bind to a specific one.Currently IFS binds to 0.0.0.0:PORT, is there a way to configure binding to IP:Port (ideally from resolving a hostname, but could be static)?

Hi All,We are having an error when try to create an Invoice from Invoice Plan Details.User is selecting 3 lines and select RMB option ‘Create Credit Invoice’ but getting an error ‘Customer has expired. Check expire date.’When this error reported, the customer had a past Inactive Date and then we removed that from the customer. But still we are getting this error.Can I get some advise to fix this, please?Thank you in advance!  

Good morning, I would likie to know if there is a possibility to use two views/tables in Data Soursce Constructor?If yes, how to do this? I need to combine data from two different views and present it on one lobby object. I have alredy tried with adding two views in “View” box (separetad with “ , ” or “ ; ”) but it didn’t work.Second idea was to use SQL construction  JOIN in “Where” boxeg.  &AO.company_person_all.emp_no = &AO.company_person.emp_no   Thanks!

Hi.Our engineering department would like to use outside operation within manufacturing routings which will all have there own individual work centres set to ‘outside work centre’ and have a connected supplier to reduce the number of levels within a structure.This seems to make sense as it can dramatically reduce the time and complexity of engineering required but our procurement department raised two issues Issue :1  limited forward visibility of future purchase requisitions and purchase orders, not visible until the shop order (with the outside operation) has been released, as when they are at planned this doesn't drive any demand.Question: is there a way procurement can have greater visibility of future purchases requisitions or orders?Issue 2: visibility of parts currently out being processed by an outside operation.Question: how do they see what parts are currently at an outside operation?Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated as I don't believe we are currently using th

A collegue of mine accidentally placed their favorites folder within another folder, and it doesn’t seem to be a way to move it back outside and be a freestanding folder together with the rest of the folders. Basically the favorites folder has become a “sub-folder” of another folder. Is there a way to move it back outside and make it freestanding again, together with the rest of the folders in the “main” hierarchy?  Possibly I could just make a new folder outside, and drag the content into it, but in this case I would like to keep the “star” icon for favorites. I should probably mention that I haven’t been using the IFS app9 for too long, and are not 100% sure how all the function works yet. I’m adding a picture in hopes it will make the question easier to understand. Just imagine that the green highlighted folder is the “favorites” folder and I want it out of its main folder to be its own without being a subfolder anymore.

Hi, We are running APPS10 UPD9.  Want to implement Kanban and have never used it before.Have been able to create circuits and do replenishments.  My question is, can you look at a forecast for 3 months out to help resize your Kanban?If so, what are the steps.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Team,While installing a fix related to reports the following error was encountered.C_RMA_PROFORMA_INVOICE_REP (CRmaProformaInvoiceRep.rdl)  layout failed to importException on importing Layouts : ORA-20111: ReportLayoutDefinition.FND_RECORD_NOT_EXIST: The Report Layout Definition does not exist.But the respective RDL file was available in the delivery folder. How do you specify a time for a PM WO to be generated?  All are occurring at 12:00AM.  I would like some to occur at a different time, such as 6:00PM. Thank you for your help

I have extended the calendar for another 10 years, however I don’t recall how to update the current maintenance plan in the existing PM Actions. Do I need to generate a new calendar or can I use the existing one? How far out can you set this calendar, 5, 10 or as much as 20 years? Thank you for your assistance.

Hi,I have a notification email that’s being sent out when a part need is created for certain parts.  I would like the person who created the part need to be CC’ed on this email.The notification message is triggered by a request event and the person I’d like included on the email is the request event creator.  I’m not sure how to use request_event.created_by in the distribution list.Another problem is I’ve been trying to create substitution maps to get the persons emails address with different methods. For some reason the ones I create don’t show up in the “Wild card member” drop down on the distribution list screen. I don’t see any differences it my substitution maps and the ones that do show up in the drop down.Currently I can use request.event.created_by or I’ve also stuffed the part_need.sequence into the request_event.user_def2 to have a link back to the part need where I could use part_need.created_byAny suggestions appreciated.

Where is the manual assignment reason and comments stored in 15.1 database? It’s no longer in the demand table (previous versions) or in the order change log (15.x version)..  

Hi,  In IFS10 we are error while matching invoice with PO Receipt. System is asking for creating of posting control M19 and M20 where as the the PO does not not contain any Inventory part and M20 and M19 should come in to pictures only in case of inventory part.   Regards, Mukesh

We keep getting issues with IFS where the application grinds to almost a stop. Tasks that should take a few seconds take 10minutes and users can no longer log on. When we look in the Oracle alert log we see lots of occurrences of ORA 3136. Episodes like this seem to last about one hour then the application returns to normal use. We noticed that memory utilization on one or other of the extended servers  shoots up to 100% during the onset of these events but we cannot find any reason for this. It tends to happen at about 9am and 4pm when there is more login/logout activity and a bit around lunch time ~noon but can see no real cause. It doesn’t happen everyday. It was very bad last Friday and Monday of this week. Since then it’s performed well . Has anyone seen anything similar please?

I’ve already found few KBAs which discuss similar topics but none of them were answered with the exact scenario with migrating personal profiles from one environment to another in bulk, hence this community post.We need to find an alternative way to migrate personal profiles instead of manually exporting and importing one at a time which consumes a lot of time and of course not feasible for our IT department. It’s not practical enough to hand the responsibility over to end-users with the necessary grants, which isn’t again a good solution in many aspects.Do you have any bright ideas where we can migrate personal profiles in bulk across environments?Thank you in advance./Manulak
