Hello, I have a custom field on the “Mixed Payment” logical unit.I have an event that triggers when a mixed payment is changed. What would be the best practise to edit a custom field tied to this same mixed payment that is being changed ?From what I could find, I can update the custom field via the MIXED_PAYMENT_CFP package calling the mixed_payment_cfp.cf_modify__ method.However, I need to provide the OBJID field of the mixed payment, which isn’t available part of the event attributes. As a work around, I am getting the OBJID with a cursor and passing it to the modify which then caused mutating table errors.I went around it using the instruction “PRAGMA AUTONOMOUS_TRANSACTION” but I was wondering if there was a better way? I am on apps9.

In MaintEngApp, I am trying to create a planned return line in mobile for a part that is currently in InFacility.  When I go to my part selector, I am unable to see that part # I am looking for.  Looking at the InventoryPart Entity I notice that it only sync’s parts that are in stock.  Is that correct?  Since the Refresh All Inventory Parts builds the Mobile user inventory part table, and the sync entity for InventoryPart has a where clause of (part_no, contract) IN (SELECT muip.part_no, muip.contract FROM mobile_user_invent_part muip WHERE muip.user_id = Fnd_Session_API.Get_Fnd_User)  How do we do a return of a Part Number (and serial) that is not part of out In Stock items?

Hello,We are trying to invoice a work order that is connected to a service quotation. We want Invoice Zero Amounts to be set to Yes but forgot to add the Invoice Rule to the Service Quotation.  The work order is complete and the status = Finished.We are using Apps 10 and have UPD11 installed now but the Service Quotation and Work Order were created and connected with UPD9.  There was a patch in UPD10 (Bug ID 155082) but it either doesn’t resolve this issue for existing SQ/WO or our scenario is slightly different.Does anyone know if there is something we can change so that the invoice preview will be created with Invoice Zero Amounts = Yes? Thank you,Joann  

When trying to import Customizations in a new live environment I get a Cache Service error when trying to import This works well in out UAT-environment - the difference being that our Live environment use 2 servers (one for Mobile, one for Alliance)

Experimenting with Powerapps… and IFS Actions, for example a status change.We have seen the “error while de-serializing contents” issue in many threads, and the answer is that we have to submit an empty JSON body like {}.  I’m just not seeing how to do this in Powerapps. This example works for the Lead/SetParked action, which does take a body: But the Lead/SetUnqualified action does not take a body.If i do something like this, Powerapps does not submit a body and so we get the error while deserializing contents issue. There must be some syntax in Powerapps that allows us to specify that an empty body {} should be submitted.  Any ideas how we do that?

We are tryin to use the Shipment Handling Unit functionality to build our shipments. If we designate a pallet as a Handling unit and start adding Shipment lines to it but then find out, for example, we need to pull off one or several cases of product from the pallet because they don’t all fit on the pallet or we need a different lot # of one product, can we/how can we do it?  I’ve read the help and there is Delete and Disconnect but seems they are only available at the Handling unit level (i.e. to delete the entire Handling Unit. )    True? any workaround?

Morning everyone!I’m part of a company that’s currently in-process developing our IFS solution, and as the data admin I’ve run into a particular problem that I’m hoping someone might be able to advise me on.  As part of workshops we’ve been told by the IFS consultants that we should be using the logical unit IDs as a functional part of the workflow processes.  For example, a part number could be used as a reference across multiple parts of the business, having to do with inventory, shipping, R&D, etc… As the data admin, I’m a little concerned about this.  I’d like to list a few things I’ve noticed during this process that led me to my concern.  Please correct me if I’m wrong, because these are only my current understandings, and I could be mistaken! 1 - The IDs for at least some objects can’t be (or shouldn’t be) defaulted.  Using Parts as an example, a user would be asked to enter the part number they wish to use when creating the master part record.  There’s no way to inject a de

Hi, In the current lay-out of our advanced planning board, all shop orders are showing line by line, in a step wise matter. Isn’t it possible to see them all next to each other, on one line?If i have many shop orders on different workcenters, i cannot see them all on 1 page. Also, it is possible to change to workcenter of a shop order in the advanced planning board, or do I need to do this in the application itself and reload? thanks!

I have watched the Business Planning self paced learning on IFS academy and when trying to test a setup of my own I am encountering an error when creating a new Planning Unit. Please see attached the error message and system setup. Please can someone help resolve the error? Thanks  - any help much appreciated.

We have several organization views and users make their personal views. But in Customer Support, when you select a view and open an order, on return to the queue from the order (search) we end in the queue not in the last view but always in the first view: OPEN calls BE HD.In Servie Order the funtionally works correct, you end back in the queue in the latest view.How impliment the same in Customer Support ?

In our basic process, for all Customer Support Orders, we use Self Assign. That is the first action our employees have to do when opening an order from the queue. If teir all already avtivities in the order, we get the message: But we never reassign previous activities. We always have to click NOIs it possible to not ask that question and continue without reassign by default ?

Hi, In IFS Application 10 Enterprise Explore, an information message “ Operation was performed successfully’” is raised upon executing custom-defined menu actions successfully.Users have to set the “Do Not show this again” checkbox for each and every menu action separately to prevent occurring it again and again.Is there a way to stop showing this information message in system level so that users do not have to manually set this for all custom menu actions?Thank you.

I need to create a customization for a new profile, and it needs a specific name (as the field already exist in the database. I created the field, but managed to use the wrong datatype (text instead of drop-down), and when I try to create it again I of course get the message that an object with this name already exist. Is there a way to either remove the customization object or changes it’s properties? Or will I have to create a new profile?

i have created a new absence type based on working days . the setup is done using absence configueration . i dont know where to setup the calendar for holidays and how the absence limit will be generated .

Application server is creating huge logs. The admin server is recording the following error -”PINGDATABASE" set up for pool "fndbas_admin" failed with exception: "pingDatabase returns not OK” becuase of which mainserver logs are increasing at a very high rate. It generated 9G log file today. Does anyone know what could be the problem and how it can be fixed?

Edge is adding significant functionality and for companies using the MS stack of applications, there can be significant integration advantages to using it. Hi, Is there a way to define the intersite pricing based on the final price in an intersite set-up? We want the profit to go to the supplying site, and a fixed % to the selling site.Example:Site A sells to final custumer for €100. Site A can keep 25%. Intersite flow kicks in, in this case we want the prices on the PO and CO for the intersite be at €75 (as 25% is for the selling site)Next week, site A sells the same sales part to another customer, but this time for €150. Again, 25% is for the selling site. So now we want that in the intersite PO and CO, the prices are 112.5€ (75%) Is this possible to automate the proces in IFS?
