Hi,We are trying to push Use Single Sign-on flag ticked by default for all users but cannot see any entries in the base profile for this. Is there a IFS base profile entry, browser settings or window registry where we can use to set this flag to TRUE by default ? We want to push this all users without having to request them to set this flag to each user for themselves.  The Technical documentation says “The setting will be saved in the user settings and will be valid for  all the subsequent logins.” 

Is it possible to change the calendar view within the My Absence Calendar screen.Currently is shows from January to December. Can it be altered to show April to March in App9? 

Hi All,In Business Opportunity Pipeline window, I am getting the below error when I include in my filter Business Opportunities  with different currencies (AUD & NZD). Why is it using currency type 1, aren’t they suppose to use currency rate 3 ? thanks 

Hi, We are trying to setup apps8 Time Clock, however when a user tries to run the application they get the error: “User **** is not allowed to access the database object WORK_CENTER_RESOURCE_LOV” They have been granted permission to the WORK_CENTER table, but still receive the same error.  Any suggestions as to why they will receive this error, or what permissions are required to run Time Clock, please? Many Thanks

So how could I know the one that belongs to the Sales Quotation? For example, in the Inventory Part Availability, there are 15 options. Hi All,An user has tried to approve a leave request in My Absence Calendar window.But he is getting an error Exception : ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected - got -Failed executing statement (ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected - got -ORA-06512: at line 16)Any idea why we getting this error?This is in IFS Apps 9 UPD 8. Thank you.

Hello,is there a way to increase the duration of an existing customer contract without getting a new for new contract?I followed the alliance contract PDF instruction. but when using this, a new contract with new id is created, this i want to avoid.I also tried to change date in Expiraton Date and also via API, but both is giving error message:Error Message:: You selected an Expiration Date that exceeds the length of the original contract.  The new Expiration Date should fall between the contract Start Date and the current Expiration Date.  Thanks a lot for your replies.RegardsTorsten

Dear Community!One of the typical questions arising from time to time is how to request installation files for a Project. This one is related to a customer trying to get from IFS Applications 7.5 to IFS Cloud.That task has to be performed in two steps. The steps are clear.Install a database import the dataupgrade using build_home scriptsto go from 7.5 to 8, 9 or 10 as an example. From there, we can go to cloud based on the technical documentation. Now, I need to know how to request a build_home for an upgrade from 7.5.Do I have to create a case? Whom to address this topic directly?Is there any process documentation on that? I have found non internally. Your assistance is highly appreciated.I guess, we have to create specific LCS cases to request those installation files.  When we have a newer version of IFS installed, than, we can request the rest by using the cloud build place. Hi all, One of our companies is operating in country that will soon introduce new currency (Euro) and we would need to implement this change in our IFS installation as well. Does anyone have experience in such scenario, what would be best approach to execute such change? Note, from experience I know some other ERP solutions have standard tool available to execute the conversion to new currency, but don’t know if this is possible in IFS, or we need to set up completely new company and perform migration. Thank you for your input.

Hi all,Is there anyway to add a note against Purchase Req Lines in a Planned state? There is a note text field but this is wiped once MRP runs at the end of each day. We considered sticky notes but then a note has to be added against each Purchase Req (not viable). This will prevent demand being created where it’s not required or notify other team members a purchase req is currently being queried. Would appreciate any suggestions!Thanks,Robert

Astea mobile testing complete as attached. Issues / Observations seen Send workorder summary by e-mail – this may not be required anymore – possible an MOE setting. Messenger client not working as expected, received messages deleted as soon as they arrive. System messages remain in the inbox however. Tools stock not showing in Tool stock inventory list. We don’t expect any of these issues to impact the techs in any way.

Hello everyone, I’m trying to update a custom field on a standard logical unit (part catalog), but this custom field is issued from a custom page. My Custom field is “Sous-Catégorie” And this custom field is linked to a custom page with two choices Here are the settings from my excel migration :   I think it follows well the excel migration guideline. But I have an error when I want to update the custom fiel in Excel (by entering a value from the previous custom page)   An idea oh what’s wrong with this ?  I’m able to update custom field with a simple text, but impossible to update a custom field linked to a custom LU or to a custom list (or enumeration ?!) Wishing you a great day :)

 I created this Custom Logical Unit in IEE In Aurena I created its Projection Configuration with parent key ‘CrmCustomer’. This Aurena environment is currently on Apps 10 UPD10.These are the steps I followed when creating the Customer Standard Group in the ‘CRMCustomer’ entity aurena screen.After adding in the customer standards tab as a group in the CRM Customer screen all the fields still remain empty for all customer ID’s.  

When trying to use the Rework checkbox on a Shop Order in Apps10 UPD6, it works fine when the SO is in Started status but not when the SO is in Planned or Released status.It works fine in IEE when the SO is Planned or Released.Is this a known issue or bug, or just some peculiar design aspect that seems to makes no sense? Thanks,Nick

I have noticed that IFS10 documentation which was available in https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/ is news removed.  As a consequence,  the links pointed to IFS10 technical documentation in forum questions are no longer working and forum members won’t have a common documentation to refer.Hope forum moderators will act on this.
