Problem: In IFS Developer Studio, 'Static Code Analyzer.. ' option is not available for report changes,  e.g. files with extension RDF.
Even it does not validate or run during the code generation for report related changes.

Isn't it required to have this option enable for report related files as well in IFS Developer Studio as it enable for remaining files, e.g. entity, client, etc.

Recreated in core: Yes.

Recreated in customer environment(s): Yes.

Request from R&D: Is this option not required for report changes in cloud?

Hi @Shanaka Tennakoon

Static code analyzer is not supported in .report models. SCA can run only on model files and respective implementation files. RDF is a generated file so SCA is not there for RDF’s

We do have provided support only for following set of file extension in Developer studio tool:

client, projection, fragment, app, plsql, views, storage, plsvc, offline

refer to Development Guide for more details: https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/21r2/050_development/050_development_tools/002_developer_studio/030_reference/800_static_code_analyzer/

Hope this answered to your question
