Hi!I have a problem with IFS App9:1. After Release Customer Order has created Report CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP.2. This report has been created in the background without showing form PrintDialog.3. this report creates a row in PRINT_JOB_TAB to Printer NO_PRINTOUT.4. Report Foramtter as default is starting working in this report and PDF was created and in Archive report checkBox 'Printed' is checked.5. The client wants to stop printing to PDF this report. He wants to go to the Archive manually and print this report himself.Now the client go to the Archive and sees that all Reports as Printed (he released many Orders). He doesn't know with CO he's working on right now.What should I do to stop creating PDF on this report in the background?Now I created a workaround:I created a new logical printer and I assigned this report to this logical Printer.After this assignment, report CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP created row in Print_JOB_TAB but this row ended Status 'Error' because we can see the error:

Afternoon,Using the Shop Floor Workbench in Aurena you can filter by barcode.Is there any specific settings that enables the barcode ID field to allow scanning input from a mobile device (camera) instead of having to manually input the barcode ID? Appreciated, Jamie 

Up to Applications 10 it was possible to manage originals and lend originals. Probably this was not used very often. I can’t find this functionality in IFS Cloud. Is it just solved in a different way or was it removed?

 Hi, I don’t known what is the interest in using  currency balance when you have  a base currency in EUR for example? NB: the code part j for this  is mandatory when you create a company.Is  it  not interesting just  for parallele currency? Thanks a lot

All,I am trying to write documentation for others to follow a process for tax. I search on the page which has a header and body of table (like inventory part availability planning screen below), I then use a save search in context in the table below the header. This search is what I need others to have, is there a way of sharing it? I’ve tried the share with colleagues but its not available as you can see in the screen shot below.Any ideas very much appreciated   

Hi all, We are enfacing an issue with pre-postings. I don’t understand why the pre-posting values that we had added to the PO were not carried forward to the Good Receipts and Goods Issues screen?This is applied for Inventory Parts.We would like to know whether this is due to our setup issues, or if this was caused by a system bug.  Thanks for help!Regards

Hi All,If we copy a file that was saved to an external shared repository, and we place that copy in a folder that is located on the database server, the DBMS_LOB procedures in our process are able to read the file contents as BLOB values and add their contents to the outgoing JSON. But that was failed or have required manual preparation. We need help to handle files in a Repository that is not located on the database server.Someone with tech background that can help to explain this functionality .Or if this external repository handling is a limitation, Please let us know. Thanks & Best Regards,Nipun 

Hello,On previous versions , the folder for in and out was defined in oracle then we were defined those path in the setup IFS CONNECT for file reader and file senderHow to set up those folder for in and out file on IFS cloud 21R1 or 21R2?Moreover how to access to those path. Thank you for your help.

In V15 Employee Portal, after the user selects Submit for a Purchase Requisition, they have to option to Unapprove from the ellipsis. We would like to know if there is a way to “deactivate” Unapprove?

How do I import an Action Group in Alliance v15?

Hi,We are currently using the OOTB Attachment Screen in the mobile application (FSM6U13). I was wondering if there is any possibilities to edit these screens? I know that I can use the designer, but as far as I can see, there is limitations regarding what to edit. In particular, what I want to achieve, is to be able to see the file name of the file attached in the DebriefTaskAttachment Screen. When opening the JPEG-file attached, I can see the file name, but not in the overview. Is there any way to solve this?

Hi All,while QA testing for a customer running alliance v14 HF24, I encountered an issue in Repair Order Module where the New button is disabled. I’ve tried as both customizer and super user. The module appears to be installed in the application Catalog .Also there weren’t any customizer conflicts related to the module.Any idea on how to resolve this? 

We have a customer who is upgrading from Apps8 On-Prem to Apps10 on our (Managed) Cloud    They currently ( in Apps8) use the ‘File Share’ as their document repository and our Cloud services team have clearly indicated that the only option they will support is ‘Database Repository’    Questions:Should we be concerned with the growth in the Db size or performance of routine tasks such as “db backup” with moving so many files into the “database repository” Have you had other customers who are asked to do a similar change as part of their upgrade to Cloud Services Is there a best practice for “moving” files from ‘File Share’ to ‘Database Repository’ as part of an upgrade project  

Hello, I wonder if anyone has set up Intangible assets amortisation in Aurena.We have a client who is collecting projects costs against an intangible asset, which needs to be a ledger account to enable project capitalisation via posting control GP3.We need to amortise this intangible asset over sales of the finished product so are considering setting up in Fixed Assets as an acquisition account.Is there a better way to achieve this?Kind regardsGlenda

Hi All,question regarding Aurena contexts (scope). Just wanted to check if anyone has a workaround? requirement: Some users must not see some fields on the Customer Order page. Customer Order page is customised in Scope A (some fields hidden) and in Scope B (some other fields are hidden)Is there a way to prevent User A accessing the page in scope B and User B accessing scope A.if they know the url then there is no way to prevent that, am I correct? Also prevent both of them accessing the global context for Customer Order page? that does not sound right though as everything comes from the global context. TIA,Rajith De Silva 

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has set up the Trip Tracker app for a Cloud client yet.  From the training documents it appears to be a simple connection but when we tried to add a Trip using the app we get a error, “An error has occurred. TripHeader has not been granted the create/update permissions needed to proceed.  Please grant them from Aurena.”  We believe we have granted all of the permissions necessary but it appears we are missing one.  Also we are not able to see any expense reports that have been added in IFS in the app.  Can someone please provide a list of permissions and background data that is needed for the TripTracker app to work? Thank you!

Hi, The situation is that we have a bulk of service orders (1500) where we want to add a new checklist.The checklist has multi entries id. I try it trought a API with multi entry rows but only the 1e row in added as the checklist.Also if i run the API per row, also the first row is added. Is there way to add checklist with mulit entries to mulit orders? Is it a bad idea to import NEW distribution orders into IFS via sql insert statements? My gut tells me that it won’t work correctly. I imagine that when you create a Distribution Order in IFS it creates data in multiple tables that would cause issues if I only inserted into the main DO table.  Thanks!

Hi, what is the best option to get parts in stock with supplier ownership? Not consignment stock, but parts in a location with ownership Supplier? The documentation gives the option of using this and transferring the ownership, but I have not found anything on how to get/receive the parts in stock so that they clearly state that they are still Supplier Owned:  “Supplier-OwnedThe supplier-owned setting is used for externally-owned stock that is supplied with the intent that once received into stock, will be converted to company-owned. The supplier-owned ownership is used as a temporary ownership between the arrival and receipt into stock if the value of the Ownership Transfer Point list in the Company/Distribution/General tab is set to Receipt into Inventory. No inventory postings will be created until the parts are received into stock (e.g., picking, floor stock and shipment) even if the purchase order is of a service or exchange type. Hi, we are running a single instance of IFS Apps 10 Aurena with multiple companies. Often these companies are in completely unrelated industries, or run very independently with no central body to manage data like vendors for example. If company A and company B both do business with vendor ABC, and we want to have two instances of this vendor set up so each company can independently manage their relationship with them, what is the best way to hide these duplicates from each company. As in if company A calls vendor ABC A-ABC and company B calls it B-ABC, we’d like to hide A-ABC from company B and B-ABC from company A so they can’t accidentally use the wrong vendor and to prevent clutter in their vendor lists.Thanks.
