When I tried to change the Unit Price for a PO created through project demand and then this error appears. There's no project cost element connected to code part value xxxx can you please guide me through the steps to set it up and what it means? :)

Deactivating Employees

Hi,When we have an employee that is very active in the system, so their name appears against Service Orders, contracts, sales rep, service agent, field quotations etc. and they leave the company. What is the best way to go about “replacing” them with a different employee and/or just deactivating them? If we try to deactivate we will get a message to say that cannot be done because they are the SA on SVxxxxxx. After fixing that SV, you get the next and so on. It can take forever. Is there any tool available where you can run to remove employee A and replace with employee B or anything like that? We have V14.5. We have had problems in the past when an inactive employee is set as a primary sales rep and we try to renew a contract, for example.

Change Password

Hi Everyone, The below situation can be tested in the Apps 10 Test LKP environment. When the login password has expired, and whilst changing it we often get the below error message. “Error while changing password. Something went wrong while changing password”Since this error message is not particular, it is difficult for users to identify what’s wrong with the combination that they’ve selected.Ex: If a Symbol is missing from the newly entered password combination can we get a more meaningful error message that explain user to add a Symbol for the combination. So, my question is can we retrieve a more specific error message for the aforementioned situation? If so, can this be setup through the oracle profile verification? Also, I’ve referred Oracle profile foundation document but didn’t find an answer. Thank You.

Link type Lobby element does not work when data source from Saved search from CO Line

Hi,A saved search was created for the Customer Order Lines window as below. And then, that saved search was used to create a Lobby Data source. the VIEW is populated automatically with the saved search, since the VIEW is that in the Customer Order Lines screen.Then, a Link type lobby element was created using the created data source. And as you can see, the Page field cannot be selected, and it is empty. (It should be Customer Order Lines I think). And due to that reason, from this element, the screen cannot be navigated by clicking on the link in the element in the lobby. I have tested, and this problem exists for any saved search from the Customer Order Lines screen.As a workaround, I can change the VIEW to CUSTOMER_ORDER_LINE in the data source and resolve the issue. Any reason, anyone of you are see / know why this functionality does not work for the CUSTOMER_ORDER_JOIN view ?CUSTOMER_ORDER_JOIN is the view used for the Customer Order Lines screen, anyway. HTTPS integration using UTL_HTTP

We are trying to integration with external system using HTTPS.End point URL is - https://qa-tinsight.mercurygate.net/MercuryGate/common/remoteService.jsp Created ACL Created Wallet certificate imported to DB serverbut still getting below error while calling the end point. Does anyone have experience in achieving this kind of thing? We cannot use IFS Connect for for this. Thanks !

Issue while debugging "could not find program unit being called"

I faced this issue during a technical investigation. There was an error message prompting in the application. "Invoice.ACCERROR1: Error (The Voucher Row object already exists.) occurred while booking Invoice CN xxxxxx" After copying the PLSQL Details, pasted it in the Test Window and ran it. The error message came as same as shown in the app. While debugging there was a requirement of inserting traces using Dbms_output. The packages that I inserted were Voucher_Row_API, INVOICE_API and Voucher_Util_Pub_API. The traces were inserted and compiled without any issues. They worked fine for a while. But in the middle of the investigation, the error message changed to "Invoice.ACCERROR1: Error (could not find program unit being called) occurred while booking Invoice CN xxxxxx." As you can see the text inside the bracket changed from ' The Voucher Row object already exists' to 'could not find program unit being called'. This also changes the error stack. Server Output File Directory - where I can add a new one ?

Hi, Does anyone know where I can define a Server File Directory (required for batch process) in the SAF-T process.This directory is required in Server Output File Directory field to generate the report via batch process.Can I add a new one from the application side ? Bill Only Invoice for Physical Product

We are currently on Apps8, in the process of moving to Apps10.On occasion, an error is made and we don’t bill a customer enough for a physical product.They agree to be billed the correct amount.What is the best way to charge the additional amount, using the specific physical sales part from the original order (for reporting and accounting purposes), but not moving inventory?

Is there a way in IFS Apps 10 to set a global variable similar to how the $INSTANCE variable works in the connect readers? I am looking to set up something for an external REST Api I am using in event actions so that I do not have to manually update the endpoint URL every time I import an updated app package into my test and production environments.

Apps9: How often does IFS go down/offline?

We are in the process of upgrading our servers, and have experienced some unknowns that we couldnt cover in testing that have caused the IFS live application to be offline, sometimes for up to 3 hours when we are having to restart servers and understand what has caused the interuption.The business are understanding but expect everything to be up 24/7, 365 days.Am trying to manage expectation, but wondering from others experiece. How often does IFS experience service interuptions? We are averaging 98% uptime overall.

Conditionally display button

In Aurena 10 I have a custom Commandgroups button (ExecuteAction), on the Change Request page, linked to an API.How can make it so that this button will only show when certain conditions on a Change Request are met?An example of this is the out of the box “Create CO” button that will only show when the EcoNo is null and the Objstate is Active (Not Cancelled or Preliminary). It uses this script in the Enabled configuration of the button.{"and":[{"==":[{"var":"record.EcoNo"},null]},{"!=":[{"var":"record.Objstate"},"Cancelled"]},{"!=":[{"var":"record.Objstate"},"Preliminary"]}]}When I grab this and enter it for my button under the Enabled configuration it does not work. Using the “Report Rule” we can set the P.O. filename in the Report Document Archive to something a bit “smart”, like “SUPno-PO-Pxxxxx ”. Nice! But what we’d also like to do for the benefit of our vendors, as we RMB - Send Order, is send them a “smartly” named file. The IFS attached PDF default filename is a concatenation of the Report Title and Result Key; which may as well be a random number. Is there a way of defining the e-mail attached PDF’s filename? Thanks!
