We had a demand plan server running, but it was generating errors. So I tried to start again by creating a new demand plan server id in the same environment.I disconnected the first from the host and now am trying to connect the host to the new server id. But I get the following error message:How can I get this to work again?

Hi, From case G1619382, I came to know that the below (Contact Info sub tab) is available only if the SRM component is installed in App9. I have checked several App9 environments, and I made sure that it is true.sub tabs are available in an instance where SRM component is installed Sub tabs are not available in instances where SRM is not installed However my problem is that >» if those sub tabs are available only if the SRM is installed, why the component is shown as “CRM” for those sub tabs in System Info ? Are the system info incorrect for that LU ? (because these tabs are not available even though the CRM is installed, but SRM is not)Any idea why the system info shows as “CRM” for the component for those sub tabs ? (I have also noticed that a new component called RMCOM (Relationship Management Common) has been introduced for App10 and these tabs in both Suppler and Customer have been included in that component) Maybe someone from IFS Framework team would know the reason. Thank yo

In IEE IFS Apps 10 UPD 14  A Key Maintenance user is receiving this error message after creating a new PM Revision (in Preliminary status), adding a couple of Work Task Templates, saving then trying to Activate the PM Revision.  I do not get that error when I try to duplicate it (I have ‘everything’ access as I am in IT). I can’t imagine what could be different in his permissions or user profile that could cause such as error. you can see that the task temp status for all three says Active.Any ideas?

IFS10-UPD9I am getting following error when click on ‘Create Mixed Payment’ after loading file without error in one of our test environment, while the file is working fine in another environment.  I have compared File template, CUP_USCUSLB, looks same. any pointers will be helpful on troubleshooting this.thanks

When a SA tries to register driving distance, he gets the following error on his mobile. Clicking yes does not help. I also find multiple error records on the server (one for each time he clicks yes):

Hi,I have the wage code for a sick leave with option ‘Transfer day by day’. And Increment handling with ‘Increments for absence’. The wage code is set up for merge method - With Previous and Next.I added a out absence clocking for last week in Time card- day window and allowed the scheduled task ‘Generate Timrep Intervals and Hours’ to run. Once the job is run and completed. It is in status Ready but there is no any intervals generated in Time card- day window. Is there any specific set up which should trigger to create absence intervals in Time card - day window?

Hi,I understood that in PSO the resources and activities can have one or more regions (to be used in different optimization parameters, like creating hard boundaries with within region multiplier, or the out of region multiplier, etc.). But it is not clear to me exactly which fields in FSM (when the tasks are create in FSM first) are mapped with these two objects in PSO (Resource & Activity), regarding the Regions. Also I will like to understand if the activity multi-regions in PSO is supported by IFS FSM, or only one region per task can be set and sync to the PSO activity. Thanks, Regards,Fernando

Hi all, The configuration of DMS repositories has clear restrictions in IFS Cloud. When configuring DMS repositories, it is no longer possible to set up a repository that points to all document classes * (asterisk). IFS has completely prevented the * from being used here in the standard functionality (methods). The direct application of the Create___ and Modify___ methods also reports back that an * is not allowed. Does IFS has another workaround to make it possible again? Best,Johannes

Is there a basic data setup that makes the system use Sales Part Cross Reference.  We have recently upgraded to VS10 and did not have to use this in VS8.  How do we stop this error occurring - ORA-20110: ExternalCustOrderLine.CUSTOMERPARTNOERROR: Customer's part number ****** does not exist in sales part cross reference.  

Hello, I want to set up some Serial Objects in our Equipment Hierarchy which may be operated, removed, repaired, and re-installed under different Functional Objects. A simple example is a Diesel Particulate filter, which we remove from the machine for cleaning every 1000 hours, place in the warehouse, then re-install on another machine at some later time. The DP filter is scrapped once it has reached 12,500 hours, so it is important we are able to track the operating hours no matter where the filter has been installed.Is there a way that the Serial Object can accumulate the engine hours recorded on the parent Functional Object for the duration which it is installed on this Object? I have not been able to find a way to do this without a great amount of tedium. Hopefully this makes sense, and any help is appreciated! Thanks

I’m using Apps 10 with Aurena.  How do I select the PO receipt to match.I created the POReceived the POcreate New manual supplier invoiceEnter the header information with PO number Click nextSelect Copy unmatched PO receiptsI can see the receipt lines.This is where I’m stuck, there doesn’t appear to be a way to match the PO receipt line.  (In IEE there is a check box)What am I doing wrong? Can anyone help?
