Since Thursday we have started seeing a number of Oracle Errors in the Database Alert Log. This appears to be when a user queries a screen with an Object Connection to  DocReferenceObject If the Attachment pane is open on the users screen the error is show in the foreground, however if it is minimized it logs the error in the background and the user is unaware (fortunately) Given that it started just last week it would make sense that it is related to a change, new report, event, but i have searched and cannot find anything that might be causing it. I have a ticket open with support but in case others have experienced the same issue or have any ideas on how to troubleshoot. IAL seems a very convenient object to create buffer table or provide limited access to some data to external users. However I was wondering whether creating lot of IAL may impact the performance of IFS in general or not… And when we schedule an IAL, based on what user the SQL is run? i do not have access to the company XYZ, so if i run the SQL i will not see data related to this company. Thus when I create the IAL , I want IFSAPP or another super user to run my SQL in order to include XYZ. How can I do that ? For instance, in the scheduler we can specify on behalf of whom the scheduler will run.  

Hi Community, Could you please help me with below issue? We have an advance invoice which is created my mistake. Since there is no any posting controls setup for advance invoices in this company this invoice is ended up with error message and in the ‘’Printed’’ status. Error message - ORA-20105: PostingCtrl.NOPOSTINGTYPE: Posting type IP19 is missing in Posting Control Currently both create credit/ correction invoice options are not available in the invoice level. Therefore, kindly let me know how to delete this advance invoice. Thanks in advance!Thakshila

Hello Community,We are using IFS 9.We have one case where an Invoice has been created and only charges are coming into the customer invoice.The customer order line is not showing in the customer invoice line.only the charges line is showing. Can you please tell me why customer order line is not coming in the invoice.

Hi,I want to create a delivery for my Apps10 customer but I get the following error when trying to launch the build: “You are not authorized to access the remote build service.” (see screenshot)It is the first delivery that I try to create for this customer and I got no issue when installing the Autobuilder on the BNT envrionment.Any idea on this issue ?Thank youFabrice

Hi there,Would like to know  why the cost is fetched as zero in time report tab. The employee had been linked to a craft id in organization basic data/craft catalogue .Here the craft id has not been fetched .Do we  need to select it in report in work order or will it get fetched automatically Is it due to the fact that no craft id is selected the cost is mentioned as zero taking the rate defined in maintenance organisation? Thank you in advance .

is it possible to use serial number ( incremental number) in a custom field.  i have created a custom field in business opportunity line and want to use autonumber when user is inputing the record. He may sometimes override this value.

I want to import data into a custom logical unit using Excel Data Migration but one of the fields is a Referenced fields?Data sample to import.Custom object to import into.  Referenced object Migration Job. Error when I try to execute.integrity constraint (IFSAPP.ARE_WATER_JET_PART_GRP1_CRK) violated - parent key not found  Can this be done?  How should I setup?  I think I need to get the OBJKEY for the referenced field?Need help. Thank you,

I can create the QIS, however it’s stuck in Draft status and I don’t have the option to “Create Information Source”, and I’m only given the option to create another draft.  You can turn ‘P.O. required’ flag on in Customer Center to make PO field in Service Order mandatory, but this will also make PO mandatory in Customer Contract.  This will create an issue when a customer provides PO only at the service order level.  When PO is mandatory in Customer Contract, PO field in a new service order gets a default PO value from a contract, so the system will not force the user to enter a PO value unique to the service order.Is there any way to make PO field mandatory only in Service Order, but not in Customer Contract?

I need to have a functionality to create Reports in IFS, but in an editable form (for example, in a Word doc).Till the moment, we have created reports, based in Crystal, and necessarily are created in a .pdf form.Is it possible to get this reports in an editable format?

Apps10 Update 8When a Control Plan is associated with a Shop Order, I can add shop order-specific data points for situations like one-off testing that I do not want in the standard Control Plan. I can also add Tools in the Shop Order > Control Plan > Tools tab. I would like to connect these new Tools to the shop order-specific data points, but there is no method available.If I can add the tools, why am I not able to connect them to any data point? What does one gain by adding tools to a shop order control plan if they cannot be used?

Hi all.We are just in the testing phase of setting up ACH payments on IFS9.  I pretty much have the bank file ready, but now I’m trying to automate a remittance advice to the supplier.  Does anyone have any setup information on what needs to take place to make this happen?
