Dear Community, Can anyone guide me how to use alternate part functionality in Purchase Order. I checked Purchase order line RMB, there is a option called Add/Change Alternate Parts...How to use this option  

​We have an issue in the data transfer from the Inventory Part window (frmInventoryPart)  to the Part window (frmPartCatalog) If we defined part number with a comma (ex: TEST,Part01) it converts to a dot (.) symbol (ex: TEST.Part01) when transferring data. The result was not populating the Part window and it shows as empty.The reason for this is its defined decimal Symbol as comma (,)So can we instruct the customer to change it to dot (.)?will it affect other functional behaviors of the application? -Kelum

We disposed an object today and selected the wrong reason.  Writeoff instead of Theft was selected.  Is there any way to update this or undo the disposal so we can do it again with a more appropriate reason.

The general IFS functionality in Automatic authorization of supplier invoices is that the system compares the invoice value and receipt value when deciding to automatically authorize or not (this is specifically for non inventory purchases and may be true for inventory parts as well).  as an example if the PO value is 100, receipt value is 110  and the invoice value is also 110, the system automatically authorize the invoice without any need for manual authorization. if a tolerance is defined as 3%, the invoice will be authorized automatically as long as the invoice value is between 106.7 and 113.3 (+/- 3% from 110). This means system disregards the PO value and only considers the receipt value.The customer I’m working for requires that if the invoice amount is higher than the PO amount, the system to not to automatically authorize and require to be manually authorized. so basically to compare invoice value and PO value rather than the  receipt value. is there any setting in the system

Hi, I would like to import a budget version from a file (like Excel) to IFS. I noticed the functionality ‘Import From File’ in the menu Budget Versions. But what is the correct file template for IFS to import the file correctly? I tried some Excel files with different formats, but IFS does not import the data correctly.

Hi! I use IFS8. Buyers meet this kind of problem almost once per month. The PO need 2 user’s approval. The buyer released a PO. The first one approved it. Then the PO status changed to Planned. The second one can not approve it. Buyer had to release this PO again and the first one approve it again also. Then the second one can see and approve this PO.Is there someone else have this kind of problem? Is it a bug? Or something happened buy I don’t know.  

When the user creates a Customer order with a wanted delivery date beyond the 60 day horizon, she gets a warning saying “Wanted date is more than 60 days from today’s date”. Is there a way (through basic data settings or parameters) to customize or eliminate this message altogether since we quite often load orders with the wanted delivery date beyond the 60 days horizon? IFS 8 allowed the use of alpha values in the Outer Min and Outer Max fields on control plan parameters that had an attribute data type.  This does not appear to be the case in IFS 10. These values did not carry forward in the conversion script from IFS 8 to IFS 10 and when we attempt to add manually in IFS 10, we get a ‘Field Format is Invalid’ message.  Is there any configuration that is available that would enable the use of alpha values in the Min and Max fields.  Thank you.

FSM: Is there any possibility to exist integration_log_detail record without a relation with integration_log record?One of the customers has millions of integration_log_details records without connection with  integration_log records.Can we remove all those records from integration_log_detail table?Best Regards-Kelum

Hello IFS Community,I was trying to send an email with a quick report using “Application Server Task”. I was able to fulfill that part. Thanks to the community.I want to go a little bit forward now.I wondered where could I  build a logic to send the email, something like if there are data on the quick report send the email. However,  if there are no data in the quick report do not send the email .? Is it possible to passing variable to the email body to make it more dynamic for example passing dates?Is this possible using Application Server Task? We are using IFS9Thanks,JL  

recently I created 32 new records in the scheduled database tasks screen but made them inactive because the new branches will only be live in March but I noticed today, they are all gone.  Does anyone know why these records don’t show anymore?  Thanks

Hello, in IFS Cloud on 21R2 version we are missing functionality that would allow to show all records in the list without need to click on the button 'Show more' on the end of the list (it is very inconvenient in case of more than 100 records). I understand that current 'Show next' approach should optimize the performance but in the Record selector next records are loaded automatically once user reach the end of the list. Can this automated load be turned on also in standard list?

Environment - IFSAPP10 Regional Test CMB Internal IFS EnvironmentI have used the below employee with the below message setup. Next, I have selected a customer invoice of this customer and selected Resend Invoice. Media Code selected as ‘Connect’ A record is created in Search Connectivity Outbox Messages. However, an Application Message is not created in the OUT Folder.Is this a bug or the standard behavior? Is there any way we can change the setups to create the application message?

We have observed in "MS for Multiple Parts" screen, Period Day of the “lot size” is set to Finish Date (of Shop Order) + 1 working day. Lot size of Shop Order is displayed in "Work in Process" line in "MS for Multiple Parts" screen and the date of the lot size is displayed in column header.Is it possible to display the Finish Date of Shop Order in "MS for Multiple Parts" screen as well?Regardless of Schedule Direction (whether "Manual Scheduling" or "Backward Scheduling") the Lot Size of Shop Order is displayed in the Finish Date + 1 Day column on the "MS for Multiple Parts" screen.

We’ve customized the title in an open Customer Support and Service order by adding the required information our agents need to check when handling the order. Depending of the length of the text, the title becomes longer which results in the end of the title being out of the screen. In Customer Support, the ticking clock is not visable anymore.Can we split the title in two lines, using the Customizer ?in this example, we would like to have the field CALLBACK and following in a second line to avoid info not being seen.

Hi We are trying to do year in IFS APP 10, our first year end since going live in Feb 21. Fixed Assets were loaded in Dec 20 both in GL and well as in FA module. As December 20 had balance in GL we did Q voucher to clear the FA Balances in GL.We couldn't close year end for Dec 20, as clear Cost/Revenue was zero balance. We did preliminary year end transfer from 2021 to 2022. than we tried to clear cost/revenue that when we encountered the following error. (please see screen print below) All this we tried in test data, before we can do this in LIVE.Can anyone please help or guide us how we can clear/fix this error message.  Thanking you in advance.Kind RegardsSwati

Hi All,We have an event action that emails the customers the customer order invoice report.  When IFS attaches the invoice report pdf file, the file name has numbers that I think are random and has nothing to do with the invoice number. The number does not mean anything to us and our customers.Question: Is there a way to replace this number on the invoice filename with the real invoice number? The filename has a random number that is not related to the invoice number.
