Reconfiguration issue on IFS 10

Hello All,

 

I installed a patch on IFS 10 Middleware servers, but at the end of the reconfiguration process, it said “configuration partly failed”. The middleware services are up and running, but the application page is not displaying. It says “

Kindly assist in providing insight to resolving this.

Hi @israelol,

Please check the following log file. It should contain a detailed error message as to why the installation failed:

\\<IFS_HOME>\Instance\<InstanceID>\logs\Configuration_<Timestamp>.log

Make sure to check the log file relevant for this patch installation by checking the timestamp. 

A 404 error usually occurs when the relevant deployments in Middleware Server are not active. In this case, it should be the ifsapp-main.ear deployment as you are unable to login to IEE.

Hi @israelol, 

Please restart the MWS server and check there status. All servers should be up and running.  
Before doing another reconfiguration try to log in to the application without any issue.
