HiOur accounting calendar is set from 1st Jan. But for 2022 we are changing our accounting period and moving from calender month to 4-4-5.But noticed that there are some periodic allocations that have gone in next year till sept 22. Is it possible to cancel these transaction and than change the accounting period. or will it say transactions linked to this to this period?if this is case how do I change the accounting period.Can anyone please give some help and advise on this. How I can change the accounting calender. Thank youSwati

Hello All, I have a question regarding cancelling a Rental PO line by following below test steps: Create a PO for a Rental Purchase Part. Receive the PO. Start Rental from Rental Workbench. End Rental. Return the part back to Supplier. Generate Rental Transactions (optional). Now go back to the PO Receipt and cancel the Receipt - this will re-open the PO and PO and Line status will changed back to Released. Now try to cancel the PO or (PO line). Then you will see below error: How can we create correction rental events to remove rental periods as suggested by the error message?  Or is there any other way to cancel the PO? Does anyone have any idea? Many thanks. 

Hi,We are using IFS version 9 and I have a Quick Report (Crystal Report) which reads a number of IAL’s. When I view the report through Quick reports, the report was working OK.  I then included another IAL which reads  2 tables   IFSAPP.invoice_tab and IFSAPP.customer_order_inv_head_cft.  Our IAL’s are under IFSINFO.  The report was working ok until I included this last IAL.  It works ok inside Crystal Developer when I connect as ISAPP but when I run through IFS Quick Reports logged in to IFS  as IFSAPP I get the error‘Failed to retrieve Report. Please Contact your System Administrator.’ and nothing else. any ideas ?

I want to attach a document to Shop Floor Workbench so that everyone (especially the workers) could read the document before their operations. And I don’t want to attach the file to every operation…But there’s even no Logical Unit for Shop Floor Workbench to let me activate “DocReferenceObject^” connection. Do you have an idea how to make it happen ?

Hi,Is it possible to add fields from a custom LU to a report designer reports? I have enabled the LU however, they don’t get added to the XML.When looking at the code, noticed the following in XML_RECORD_WRITER_SYS.Add_Custom_Fields_impl__, which seems to cause the fields to be not considered when they are from a custom logical unit.Is there an alternative way, other than re-creating the fields as custom fields in an existing standard LU? Thank You & Best Regards

Hello, I have noticed an issue regarding the Estimating module that I do not understand. It appears that when bringing in an Existing Inventory Part and running a Calculate on the Estimate, the unit cost does not match the Part Cost in IFS. Sometimes it is off a few cents, others it can be more than $1. Below is a screen shot of a single Routing Op step part, in a single Site, with a basic Product Structure. Running Calculate on the Estimate shows a difference in the total cost:The Routing and Product Structures all match in the Estimate. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to read my question :) I am trying to apply Pseudo codes into the posting line information on the posting proposal. I have created a Pseudo code as follows: Pseudo Codes Base Data I then tried to attach this code to the line: RMB on the Posting line in the posting proposal and click on pseudo CodeWhen i do this, I get the following dialogue box. However I am not able to enter the Pseudo code from any list of values. When I tried creating a new one and saving it within this dialogue box, it wont allow me to view this saved record in the list of values either.  Any help on how I can use these codes in the invoicing process would be appreciated :) Thank you Mish

Select line from table and press right mouse button window. Select “Close GL Period”.The dialog window "Validations Transaction in Progress" is populate .Let me know the IFS view that use to populate data.

Hi All,Is there a way to change a document class on an existing document? Or, is there a process that can transfer a document to another document class?For example, we have Doc No BYC-12E-10-XX-XX (1 OF 2) that is in doc class ENG-243 that should really be in ENG-248. our staff created 2 new customer orders. number X1 & X2the accountant can see all orders, only those 2 orders are disappear !user can see other orders for the same customer and other orders for the same project ! what shall i check.    

I am receiving the following error when I RMB on a Customer Order Line and select “Connect to Activity”.The activity I am connecting to is on a Project that is created with the same Order no. as the Customer Order. I have compared the Customer Order with another Customer Order that is connecting successfully and both are identical (same parts on the Order line and the project is the same also) AccountingCodeParts.MISSCODE: The value I100453 used for the code part Project is either missing, is a budget/planning code part value or has invalid time interval Where “I100453” is the Customer Order number and also the Project ID that I am trying to connect to.Thank you for any replies.

Hi,I am able to add custom fields in Aurena using page designer. When I save and publish, I am able to see them. However, when I close the page design and go back to the page, the custom fields are no longer there. The Page Design still has them. This is happening in all the pages in the instance. It is working without issues in another instance for the same customer. 3 of us tried and noticed the same behavior.Is there a parameter or a setting that needs to be enabled?Thank You & Best Regards
