I have a question from a warehouse manager - why is total cost missing for a lot of products? We do have cost on the products.

Hi Bjørn,
Please confirm this is the standard report which you did not customize.
I do not see the cost not populated in any of the reports I have tried so far but am wondering perhaps there might be something going on with regional formatting in the report for the numbers as the only ones having a value in your screen shot are whole numbers.
Can you also try this with an English US regional definition for your Windows client for the numbering assuming you are using the Astea Browser? If this works, then it is an issue which should be submitted as a ticket.
Hi Phil - very keenly observed. I checked a few of those with 0 cost, and the price was with decimal. Tested for Norwegian as well - same issue:
Changed over to US regional settings, and violá:
I will submit a ticket.
Hi Bjørn,
As a sanity check, in the Catalog - Options dialog, can you try setting the Use Local Date and Time for Report as enabled while you have the Danish or Norwegian setting on your Windows client?
This option tells reports to use the local Windows client regional formatting and does impact numbers as well, if I recall.
Hi Phil - I checked, and that solved it (at least as a work around)
I have also checked using Employee Portal, and no issues there:
Still want the ticket? Can you check in v15.4?
Hi Bjørn,
I don’t consider this a work around… no need to log ticket now. Reason, unless that option is enabled, the reporting will be based on English US, not your local clients. This is the only way to have the reports use your local windows regional setting.
As for v15.4, this is a different ball game as you would have to use the Web Employee Portal and not the Astea Browser (that setting was for Astea Browser only). The Web Employee Portal does NOT get the regional settings from Windows client like the Astea Browser. Each browser (Chrome, Edge) actually manages its own language settings.
Having said this, I did try a quick test setting my Chrome browser to Danish and also still saw the report was delivering values for the decimalized entries. I still think when we deliver v15.4 to you, this should be reviewed at that time separately from this specific topic involving the Astea Browser.
Kind regards,
Phil
