Hi For the last 3 years I have looked after creating and modifying permission sets. We have 4 non-Prod environments and 1 Prod environment. All are at the same IFS version which is:Mods are always done on one of the non-prod instances. Once tested and approved, they are imported into PROD (after making a backup export of the existing PROD permission)I have never had any issues importing until the last month or two. A successful import now is hit and miss. More often than not, I am getting this error:I am logged in with my own login id with IFS_Full permission. Nothing on that side has changed. Typically, if I try importing the original permission back in, it works. Then if I try the modified version again, it will work.But today I was not able to import the previous version,, got the same error. I logged in as IFSAPP, got the same error. I shut everything down, restarted my computer and was able to import the original as IFSAPP.Any ideas what might be causing this or what I could check

When the status of a parent work order is changed there is a prompt to change the status of all the child work orders. Is it possible to update other data on the parent work order that could then be applied to the child work orders as well? For example, if you enter an Actual Finish Date on the parent work order, is there a way for that date to be populated on the child work orders?

Hi Community, I have a work order that is failing to close out due to this error: The Planned Date is not a valid working day according to the Calendar specified for Revision 2 of PM Action... The Planned Date is May 25, which is Memorial Day, but I can’t change it. And I’m not sure why the Maintenance Plan would have planned it for that day in the first place. In any case, thoughts on how to get around this?

Hey, is there any administration documentation for TouchApps TimeTracker 2.1.10 for Apps9 for setup within IFS? I’m looking for information on the Admin menu (see screenshot). I have it installed and can login via my android, but there are so many nuances. I tried the link from the configuration console, and it gives me a 404 error (see screenshot). I looked through all the questions on here, and only found two power points for end-users. (An introduction for end-users and a user guide for end-users; see screen shot). I looked at the information in the Foundation documentation, but it’s generalized (see screen shot). I couldn’t find any admin information at all, not just for version 2.1.10. All help is appreciated!

Work Order and Task are ‘released’ and I have 3 Material Order lines that I need to create a purchase requisition for, but I cannot highlight all 3 lines and RMB and choose the ‘Create Purchase Requisition Line’ option; it is not enabled.  However, I can highlight them individually and RMB to ‘Create the Purchase Requisition Line’  Why?

Hi EveryOne.Could someone help how can I find the Mywork list fields (not the detail)?I need to include the Belongs To field. Is it possible. If yes, How can I reference the parent object?There is just the object ID.I couldn’d find it in the Mywork page. Just the comandgroups. The contents are empty.Tks a lot.  

We have setup an IFS Cloud 21R1 on Premise environment.In addition, we have setup a PSO environment. These two should now communicate with each other, but we are receiving this error message  This is leading me towards a missing certificate. In IFS 10 we had been able to import all needed certificates by running an import via reconfigure. As this is not possible in IFS Cloud, I wonder how this is done. I am aware of the techdocs in 21R2Secured Communication - Technical Documentation For IFS Cloudbut this is only pointing out how to verify the certificates or what you can do with certificates.Seems this is more a general overview of what you can do with certificates.If you check on Configure the HTTP Transport Connector (ifs.com) it is referring to importing files to the keystore with the mentioning of the standard IFS10 procedure and paths.. I want to change the colouring of tasks in the Schedule Board based on the Task Type. I have set this up in the Color Settings screen, and this is working as expected in the Smart Client. I don’t see the same thing in the Web Client though.Is there a separate setup for this for the web client, or is this not possible? I am using FSM 6.12. Color Settings Setup Smart ClientWeb client 

In Document Management => Create document, I get errors when a document has too long filename. It made several lines. I also do not get any notification that the filename is too long.See attached screenshot of what is happening. The document with the long filename generates many lines (many new documents)I do not find that this has been reported before and will be fixed.Do you know anything about this @Mathias Dahl ? Linda:-)

Dear folks, An error message is being encountered when saving a mixed payment to process a 'Cash transfer' from one Currency account to another Currency account  e.g. EUR to USD account.  Accounting currency is GBP.It will allow to transfer EUR to GBP account or USD to GBP Account but not EUR to USD.  Could you please advice on this? Best Regards,Thakshila

Hi, We’re running IFS10 and want to make sure that material for a specific Work Center is reserved from a production line. This works fine for us if we don’t connect the material line to an operation. As soon as we connect it to an operation the reservation is unsuccessful. RMB on the row and selecting “Reserve” leads to below information message and the row is not reserved, notice that the row is connected to Operation 10. If we remove Operation 10 from the row and selectes RMB “Reserve” again the row is successfully reserved. In the Operations tab operation 10 has been setup.The Production Line has been setup with the produced part and the component we’re trying to reserve. And the Work Center has been setup using the production line. Are we missing anything, or is it not possible to reserve material from production lines if the material is connected to an operation number?

Hi, Help Please.I would like to create a custom event that checks, before release of the customer order, whether any charges have been added if the total order value is less than £150.  If there are no charges, then popup a warning message. I can get the event to work on order creation, but cant get it to warn when RMC Release.? My event and action looks like this.  This is in IFS Apps10.EventACtionBackground jobs show thisAny help much appreciated.

Is their a functionallity in Astea v15.3 to print labels when receiving products ?Or can we select from receiving documents to print labels ?The only option I see now is to print a receive list

Hi AllIn MWO we use surveys for questions before Work Started, or before Completing a work task.  These surveys include mandatory steps that should be completed before the Work Task is reported.  If the user is not able to provide a proper answer then they should not be allowed to report in the task.  These tasks are set as Terminating Questions in the survey, but when a user answers these, they are still taken to the Report in page.Is it possible to set it up so that if a user enters Terminating answer they are taken back to the Work Details rather than being allowed to continue to report in?

Hi, we have a need to add in manufacture part number for the inventory part in stock record.  That field comes from the dme_ext_lot_batch_master_tab.  We have many inventory part in stock records however that do not have a record in the dme_ext_lot_batch_master_tab so I am update that field. I have not been able to find out  yet what causes a record to be inserted into that table.  We have old and new inventory parts that get added with and without that table being inserted into.  Does anyone have any insight into this table?  THANK YOU!!

Hello all!Hopefully this is a quick question that can lead into a lesson that is useful for others (including myself).I’m creating a custom page and would like to add a custom field that will record a few instantaneous values but am struggling to find the right value to reference. We’d like fields to keep:User who creates the record Date/time at entry User who modifies a particular Boolean value in the tableI tried using SYSDATE and USER but of course that just pulls the date and user at the minute of viewing the record.If I learn this lesson it opens a lot of opportunities for interesting metrics. Thanks to advance to anyone who is willing to help!Using IFSAPP9 if that’s relevant.
