IFS Community,

We are finding the auto-reservations is not reserving materials to the CO Lines in order by the Planned ship date.

What is the field used to determine what is reserved first and is there a setting we can change to ensure the auto-reservations is using the Customer Order Line Planned Ship Date?

Hi @Mdangelo ,

There is a Setting is at the Site Level, (Inventory tab / automatic reservation) There you can see 5 priority levels used in the automatic reservation. These levels will consider when doing the auto reservation on a site.

  • Highest Put-away Zone Ranking: When the putaway zone setup is there in the automatic reservation with that as priority level 1, system would reserve parts which are stored in the highest ranked zones.
  • Earliest Expiration Date: If the parts cannot be allocated fully through the first priority system would check for the second level. In here Parts with the earliest expiration date will get the second priority
    • Inventory Parts in stock window / Expiration Date Field.
  • Earliest Receipt Date: Parts with the earliest receipt date will take the next level priority
  • Largest quantity on handling units: If the parts are packed into HU , HU with largest qty will be prioritized over other.
  • Outmost handling unit : This is again about the handling units. We will be discussing basics of HU within the program

It is not possible to do auto-reservations based on Customer Order Line Planned Ship Date.

Thank you,

Lumini.

This site functionality for priority is only at V10 and above correct?

Hi @ShawnBerk , Yes this is only available  at V10 and above.

Thank you for your feedback, it is much appreciated!

@Mdangelo Try “Uncheck- Reserve All Lines in CO” on Autoreserve Scheduled Task. and see if it works for you
