Is there a process/functionality in IFS application to transfer an employee from one company to another company?

Yes. The steps are correct
- Create employment with same person id in company Y
- From company Y use function “Transfer employee data”
- You can select options on what should be done with the existing employment in company X
Further with this option you can decide to end the existing employment or not. But with the assistant for new employment, it will remain Active unless we manually make it In active

You will have to create a new employee using the same person ID in the new company. Previous employee can be inactivated.

There is an RMB option in the 'Employee File' window header 'Transfer employee data'.
To enable this, there should be an employment with the same person in the new company. Once the employee is created, all data can be transferred through this RMB option.

How is the process? End employment in company X, create employment with same person id i company Y and then from company Y use function “Transfer employee data”?
Which information are transferred?
What´s the benefit of using this function instead of using the assistant for new employment?
