Hello,

I have an object with acquisition value of 5000 and depreciation method REM BP. For the first FA period I calculated and posted depreciation. Then I entered an invoice in amount of 2000 against the FA object using acquisition account.

The newly created invoice is automatically updated FA object transactions with Ext Add Investment. Until here everything is fine.

Then I calculated depreciations for next periods and posted. Ext Add Investment value is not considered for regular periods but with last period as residual.

What setup I need to complete to include Ext Add Investment value into depreciation amount?

The value is posted with residual in the last FA period of object.

This is depreciation method details

Thanks

Hi,

You might have already done this, but did you activate the transaction in the ‘Add investment Progress’ window before you ran depreciation?

Hi @PamithK

I resolved it, this is about the object transaction IDs are not set correctly. The environment was a copy from another one and there was issue with object transaction IDs for existing objects. I asked for fresh copy and it is resolved.

Thanks
