Not able to Generate from PM Acton Maintenance Plan

We have a user trying to generate a Work Order from a PM Action Maintenance Plan but the RMB → Generate Work Order option is not appearing.

 

He is able to generate all others apart from 2. What would prevent a user from being able to generate the Work Order?

We need more information and screenshots.  Obviously it’s a setup somewhere that may or may not be common to both.

Hi,

 

One basic reason could be that the Performed date based is set to “Yes” and maintenance plan has plan lines with unfinished Work orders. When you run a PM Action with Performed Date Based = 'Yes', only one Work Order will be allowed to be generated at a time.

You might want to check that the Maintenance Plan is Generatable and the Valid From and Valid To Dates are accurate.

Hi @lisa.gilesAB 

If it’s not the first row of your maintenance plan, you should bring the last WO at a ‘closed’ status. Then the Generate Work Order option will appear again.
