Hello my friends,We are using IFS 9upd4. Users only work through IFS EE. Making IFS more useful; We need to increase interest and relevance. There are many apps for sales or warehouse staff in apple and google store. Can anyone share the full list of these apps? Also, do we need anything extra to use these apps? Who can help with this issue? You should describe not only mobile applications, but also all kinds of add-ons that will facilitate the use of IFS, together with its use, under this post. Anyone who needs guidance can follow this post. Thank you for your interest. Thanks,Barış

Is there a way (in Enterprise Explorer version 10) to make a field mandatory on a screen for all users.I want to make a combo-box mandatory in Customer Orders for all users.I know it can be made mandatory by RMB- Properties-Mandatory and  then selecting the object from the list but that only does it for the user who is currently logged in. It doesn’t carry across to all profiles. I want to make the field mandatory for every profile. But I don’t want to alter the Base profile or personal profile. Is there a back-end table I can modify it in?

Hi There,Is there a way to change Charge Currency  in Customer Order----->Charges  ?(we do have the option in Purchase Order-->Charges--->Charge Currency though) Thanks in Advance

I want to alter the page configurations and navigator configurations to different types of users. WHat I am thinking is to do all the common configurations in the global context and create custom contexts for nuanced config. What is IFS’s recommendation on changing contexts. can there be any implications of changing the global context?

Topic raised on behalf of case G2339508I would like to experiment with Supplier Invoice Workflow, but not sure we have it installed.  1)  How can we tell if it is installed?2)  Where can I find instructions for installing it?

Hello Community!!Is there a way to capture Maintenance/Service Employee Overhead Cost - similar to manufacturing labor OH?    Or can we trick the IFS to get this cost created - is it possible to assign a “tool” (with an hr.ly cost) to an employee that would automatically track employee hr.s reported?  Thanks!  Troy

This checkbox is defaulted to Send an email with the current report for the activity. This has been an issue for us as we need to review all Technician text before being sent to the customer. In addition, we often have Orders that must remain open for an extended period and end up with dozens of activities. We have trained the techs to ‘uncheck’ this box but it is an easy one to miss. Is there a way to change this default or turn off the option altogether??The preference would be to leave them active as options but both defaulted as “Unchecked’Thanks, Sean

Hello, I am looking to restrict my users’ ability to use Page and Navigator Designer in IFS Aurena (Apps 10 UPD 12). Is there a way to do this through projections/Permission Sets? Any guidance would be appreciated!

Hi, I wanted to know whether there is any restriction on the visibility of bundle services on mobile app. The bundles under “Computer Services and Support” are not visible on mobile. But they are visible on desktop as expected.   Your early response is appreciated.Thank you in advance.

Question from the logistics team: in 15.2 they used to filter General Queue by Demand Type to filter out internal transfers and whatnot. In 15.4 it does not seem that Demand Type is available in General Queue. Any tips on how to see all orders but filter out internal orders?

Hello all, I have two unique part numbers that run through the same work center. The two parts are very similar in look, and we would ideally like to prevent them from being schedule to run back to back.  I have not been able to find anything in the help section of IFS (apps 10) that would indicate there is functionality to address this. Any guidance would be appreciated!

It is about the Operation Reporting with Barcode page.In this screen fields about time reporting are automatically filled in with the routing time once the operation ID is completed. Is there any impact of following setting on the “Operation Reporting with Barcode” process ?Work center setting (screenshot 1): - auto report labor time with qty => never- auto report machine time with qty => neverSite settings (screenshot 2):- default remaining time to report => noWith these settings, in the shop floor workbench, it actually works (screenshot 3), need to fill in manually the times to report. But unable to see any effect on the Operation Reporting with Barcode screen (screenshot 4).

In the standard process on Mobile 14.4.4.0, where an order is resolved at first visit, our engineer has to let the customer sign before he can complete his activity and resolve the order. But if the engineer cannot solve the problem, the activity is fulfilled and based on the stop code a new activity is created to be dispatched again. Before the engineer can complete the activty, he has to let the customer sign. But when the second activity is dispatched and the engineer completes his activity, the signature page pops up with the previous signature already filled in.Can the signature page be empty for the second activty, so the customer sign again for the second visit because it is not always the same person ? (the first signature must also stayed attached to the order)

Under work task → resource->demands , when trying to assign resource there is button for multiple visit but it not editable .

Hello, I have run into a rather interesting challenge I can’t seem to solve.I create a Migration Job for the Excel addin, its purpose is mass change shop order dates. The Source Mapping was auto generated via the default settings on the migration job. When I Open the Migration Job in Excel and use the search and try to search with a date field, the search does not convert the query into the appropriate date logic. Is this something I need to somehow program into the Source Mapping itself?Migration Job:Excel IFS Search:Checking the Advanced Tab to validate and resulting error:Manually correcting this makes it work. This however is not great for the end user as they need to know to make this change when searching for dates and becomes more difficult to use.Looking forward to some possible solutions.

Hello,What are some IFS Academy courses that are beneficial to take for someone that is looking to get into IFS development/maintenance? I would ideally like to start using the IFS Developer Studio but I’m not 100% sure which courses are worth the price tag that can provide a basic tutorial to help build a skillset out. Thanks,Bryan

Hi, We have an ADExport.csv file which overnight imports users into Assyst via ETM. Sometimes, a user fails to import so we manually have to import that user via ETM. I’ve written a basic PowerShell script which prompts us to enter in the Email address of the user that has failed to import. Once the email address has been entered, the script then searches for that user in the ADExport.csv file. Once the user is found in the file, it copies the following file headers into a new .csv file: "sAMAccountName","userPrincipalName","SID","GivenName","Description","sn","physicalDeliveryOfficeName","Department","mail","telephoneNumber","userAccountControl","MobilePhone","Manager","ManagerName","ManagersAMAccountName","extensionAttribute11","DistinguishedName" The script then copies the users info found in the ADExport.csv file then pastes it into the new .csv file created above. I’ve confirmed each header has the correct info assigned. When I import the new .csv into ETM, it shows the following e
