Hi,Is there a way to version control IAL files in cloud to make it automatically picked by the automation? Or else we have to manually deploy them across environments?ThanksRoshanga

Now using V15.4Hi,In V14 I could usually find the right field names and table names (to write some SQL).  The field names showing at the bottom of the screen when you click on them and the table names I could find in the Modules tab in the Export Template Wizard.Can anyone tell me the best way to find the table names in V15? So for example, if I was in the Customer Contracts Module and wanted to know which table the Contract Type was in, where would it show me that it was in CCONTH? (I know this one already but just as an example)ThanksChris

Hi,In a warehouse, not defined on the storage page as Consigned or Reserved.In this warehouse, you create a bin with “Reserved Good” as inv type.Then, you make a reception on this bin for a customer. So, you have inventory in this bin.Then,1/ if you make another reception for another customer : Could you use the same bin to receive parts ?2/ With parts in inventory in a “Reserved Good” bin : Could you nevertheless change the inv type of the bin (from Reserved good to good for example) ?Thanks and Regardsanthony

Equipment Object Navigator>All Objects shows a mix of functional and serial objects. I have added a custom field to the Serial Object entity and would like to display this in the All Objects list. How is that possible? Looking at the existing fields I often see Equipment_Object_API.Method as column name. Maybe someone can elaborate on this entity/view in general. Is the merging of Functional and Serial Object mainly done in the database view?

I understand IFS FSM is a stand-alone application at the current moment and there is some word that it is being integrated with IFS Cloud. What is the future of FSM? Will the stand-alone application be integrated fully with IFS Cloud and cease to exist as a stand-alone application called ‘FSM’, and instead be called Enterprise Service Management (ESM) going forward? Also, being that PSO is connected to FSM, will it also be integrated fully into IFS Cloud? Thank you.

I am attempting to sync a custom table with FSM Mobile, when using the database query option in IFS mobile (6u23) the result returns an error. HelloWe want to upload files through API  with file encoded in Base64.When we sent cfg extension <name>test_file_2</name> <extension>cfg</extension>the file is not uploaded into alliance with an error : “Attachment: .cfg has been ignored as unsupported type.” in the global.xml the .cfg extension has been added to the  allowed file Type, is there an other file to setup this extension for api / webservice usage ?ThanksRgdsChristophe

Hi,question about “Configuration Applied” field in MWO (ServiceEngApp).Where is it stored, when does it get evaluated, and when does it get re-evaluated?I have run a lot of tests and am observing that it gets evaluated when a request task is first synchronized onto the device.  But i cannot get it to consistently re-evaluate e.g. when a new, higher-weighted configuration is synchronized to the device.Should this re-evaluation be achievable?    

When searching by Customer Name in Aurena (Apps 10 UPD 13), the application does not return the expected results.  The same search works as expected in IEE.  Navigate to Customer Orders (Overview Page) Select drop down for Customer and uncheck Match Case (Aa) If I keep Match Case on, then the search seems to work.   Enter a partial of the Customer Name Such as ‘%abc%’ or ‘abc%’  SearchNo records are returned to the user.  If the user searches by Customer Number or other criteria, records are returned.  Has anyone else run into a same issue?

Hi,In APPS9 & APPS10, we could change the timeout parameters when configuring the application.(relevant screenshot is attached)   But In the IFS cloud, how can we change these parameters? F1 documentation is not clear.

Hi All, I need to create a Custom REST API and this API needs to call several other REST APIs.For example new custom API is Test_Handling_SVC.My question is , do we normally call CRUD methods in standard SVC packages from other SVC packages (say custom SVC) or should we call standard New__ , Modify__ method calls instead.e.g.Do we call method Prepare_Work_Order_Handling_SVC.CRUD_Create() ORActive_Sepatate_API.New__() What is the recommended IFS standard?

I’m pretty certain I didn’t miss any steps in the set up and the documentation says the equipment objects for the sites the user has access to should just show up but they’re not.  I even logged in to the NA Pre-sales demo environment to see if it was working in there and it is not.  I know we’ve taken away the old page that let us configure what equipment objects the MWO users saw but is there something I’m missing here.  This is a problem and hopefully just something not set up that wasn’t documented.

I am trying to create a configured notification on Notify Me app. When press authorizes button I would like to change the icon of the notification. I read the documentation. There is no information about this. I would like to set “icon-status-id” when an action happens. How can I do it?   

Hello We are trying to work with PM actions but our category objects cannot be connected to these actions. We service trains and the object is mostly a wagon which makes a vehicle. A wagon can be be moved to another vehicle of required.   Should we change our object type to make pm action work? Or is there a workaround? We are using apps 10 with a planned transition to Aurena next year.

Hi,We are working with IFS App 9 and face an issue with the E-Invoice that it does not contain the Bank Account of the Seller/Company. Due to this when customer reads the E-Invoice generated from IFS, the customer cannot identify the bank account to which payments should be made.When we look at the F-Invoice guidelines, it mentioning a section for Bank Account details ‘SellerAccountDetails’Does anyone know whether it picks the Company Bank Account details to E-Invoice?ThanksGayan
