  Hi,On serial objects placed in the equipment structure, there is an option to return a serial object to inventory - "Move to Inventory". The reason to return the Serial Object to Inventory could be for sending it for repair or to take care of an old component as an extra spare object. But it is not possible to return the serial object to Inventory if the Part No linked to the object only has Serial Tracking "At receipt and Issues" and the Serial Tracking "In Inventory"=FALSE. The selection "Move to Inventory" is only enabled when the Part No connected to the serial Object has the Serial Tracking "In Inventory"=TRUEI tested and it is the same behaviour in: APP10 UP16, as in Cloud 22R2 UP5.My customer says that from a logistics perspective, it is highly desirable not to track their parts in stock, only in part serial.Why is it not possible to return a serial object to stock if the item is not serial tracked in stock? The serial tracking is anyway in the part serial catalog.Best Regards

We have got an issue after and upgrade from 22r1 to 22r2. It seems to be a bug in the framework but as we don’t have access to any bug database I’ll try to raise the question here. We have an out bound message goin out true ifs connect with http sender and a soap action added wit : (ex urn:test:test2:tes3:v1/test) this was working fine in 22r1. In 22r2 it has been introduced new way of authenication in the http sender where you can use non,basic…. What we see is inside the table fndcn_address_label_tab and column address_data_2 the data has change inside here:In 22r1 it contains only the soap action like thisurn:test:test2:tes3:v1/testin 22r2 it has been added more data into this and now it looks like thisAuthenticationMethod=None:SoapAction=urn:test:test2:tes3:v1/test In 22r2 when ifs connect process the message we get this exceptionExecutionException from Sender threadCaused by: ifs.fnd.connect.senders.ConnectSender$TemporaryFailureException: Exception while sending dataCaused by: if

ProblemThere is a customer, who is in 22R2 SU4. Their reported issue appear due to not returning any value from the following method call.BEGIN   -- Call the function   :RESULT := DOMAIN_SYS.Get_Translated_Values(domain_ => :domain_, lang_code_ => :lang_code_);END;  Following is the Get_Translated_Values method content.Both methods return, null. According to the following Get_Ctx_Values__ method, context_value_ variable always returns null in customer environment. domain_ is ‘WorkTypeCategory’value is ‘gb’Following values are available in customer environment. So, my question is, can anyone please let me know, what could be other reasons for not returning any values for , context_value_ := Sys_Context(context_, nvl(value_, 'PROG'), ctx_length_); In 22R2 core environment following records were returned any issue. 

why multiple  same file is coming? what’s the logic behind that?  

Hi All,I have a purchase part (No inventory part connected) with a connection to non-inventory sales part. If I create a purchase requisition for this part in a work task (connected to a customer) and process it until receipt the purchase order, I do not get sales part auto populate in the sales tab in the work task(screen shot attached). This is tested in one of the IFS cloud demo environments also (22.R2) and can recreate this issue there as well.Looks like a bug. Any information/thoughts about this pls ?. Is there a workaround for this scenario other than adding the sales part manually?Thank you,Roshan

When an Engineer creates work via the Service Engr MWO App, if they create ‘New Work’ using the option ‘Report Work I have Done’ when the Work Order is returned from MWO the Actual Hours Worked displays in the Work Assignment but it does not generate a Time Report for that User. Without a Time Report there is no Cost Line and without a Cost Line we have no Sales Line.Is it correct that the Time Report is not automatically created? How do we get the system to create a Time Report? Does this need to be manually done? Thanks in advance

Hello,I created a report designer layout with some data and logo in header. My requirement to display image from a database table. So I wrote the query in SQL Query Statement field as shown in Picture below and passing tns:IMAGE_NO bind variable. When I previewed the report in designer tool or in IFS Application, Logo is not printing in the report. But when I pass hard code value in bind variable instead of tns:IMAGE_NO, the report is printing the logo properly. I checked that tns:IMAGE_NO element is printing the value in report. But when I pass it as bind variable to display the logo, it is not working.IFS Application Version: IFS 10 UPD13Report Designer Tool Version : 200.2.0000 

Hi, how can we set the default method “create pegged” to Pegged or no pegged in a DOP? Some components we never want it to be pegged. Doesn’t matter in which DOP. If we don’t have stock, we just want MRP to order it without a peg.Other components can always be pegged. So it depend on the inventory part. I can change it on the DOP itself, but do I need to do it each time?

I have a Quick Report that Groups By dollar columns, then does a UNION to total those $$$ columns. It has a join column from another table (btl.amount), keying on primary keys/columns.The challenge I’m running into is that, on the UNION SQL, I’m joining to a table to get that single $$$ column’s total (SUM(btl.amount)). Since the join is not at the detail level of each main table’s rows, it’s overstating the SUM() total $$$. I have tried formatting the API with TO_CHAR but no luck. We have a user that noticed a link at the header of the page. He is not aware how this got there and would like it removed. I also am not sure how/why it is showing unintentionally. I would like to know how to remove it if anyone has any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Today I discover on Aurena V10 (UPD16 version) that I can generate all of the WO one by one without any restriction.Is that a new IFS rule on this object?Thank to all your advices

Dear All,We are trying to schedule a GL voucher update, but we are getting the error message 'Must have the right to execute method [GEN_LED_VOUCHER_UPDATE_API.START_UPDATE__] to be able to create a new batch schedule. Hi All, Please let me know why the UOM from source is not fetched to the part lines in the incoming dispatch advice. This is for App10. The UOM is fetching to part lines from source in App9. TestGo to Incoming Dispatch Advice window From available source line select one of line that has the source UOM RMB and click connect part lines Then move to the Part Line tab, selected Part has been assigned to the incoming dispatch advice, but source UOM is missing Thanks.

Is it possible to have saved queries synced into the Mobile Work Order?If not can we get more filters into individual LOVs to narrow down the results in the LOVs in MWO depending on other values.  As an example for Item Class LOV can we add in a saved query to show only specific items in MWO for that user or filter values based on the service contract etc?

Cloud 22.2.1I have an Analysis for a serial part for a variable type data point. I selected the serial numbers for the analysis. I entered the results for the serial numbers and completed and confirmed the analysis. In the header of the Analysis Result page, when I select ‘View Serial Numbers’ there are no serial numbers listed.Using ‘View Serial Numbers’ in Apps10 EE the assigned serials are still visible.Is this a bug or a new feature?

Hi,In Apparel/Garments/Textile industries, it is a common practice to have different types of defects like Major, Minor and Critical. And for all these types of defects users use different AQL values(normally for major and minor different AQL values are used and for Critical it’s always Acceptance No=0 and Rejection No=1 is used in most of the cases) due to which Acceptance and Rejection No changes, though the sample size remains the same as in AQL chart sample size is based on the lot size and acceptance and rejection no is based on AQL value.In IFS Apps-10, we can assign only one AQL value for one control plan of an Inventory Part/Inventory Part and Supplier Combination. And we cannot have multiple control plans Active for each of the items. So, how can we handle this without customization/modification, can anyone suggest?[I need this both for Manufacturing & Purchase items] Regards-Nahin

Hello  We have a need for system to automatically fill gap between the schedule and attendance hours. For example if employee is scheduled to work 08:00-16:00 and starts working at 09:00 we would like system to automatically generate line of absence for time period between 08:00 and 09:00.
