My Org is looking to implement mWO for internal maintenance tasks, and we want to be able to automate the transfer to mobile process so an incoming fault report can be put into the pool quickly and without supervisor intervention (faults can occur on 2nd/3rd shift and there aren’t always supervisors then). Seemingly the only option for this is scheduling Transfer Work Assignments to Mobile task to run every 15 minutes.when one manually transfers to mobile, there are the two sliders for pool and pool-keep, how can the database task Transfer Work Assignments to Mobile be configured to do either? Specify the “Allocated_To” setting as “pool”?(I also wish the transfer window option wasn’t “beginning of time until today plus x days”)or is there an API call I can make with a workflow or pl/sql event action to transfer on fault report creation vs. the scheduled task? I can’t find any obvious APIs to use for this.

Hi All,I would like to ask if it is possible to - Run PMRP to create only purchase requisitions on the activities without creating Material Transfer requests between the activities if already items are available in the Project inventory. for e.g. Activity A has the requirement of Part ABC for X Qty Activity B already has Part ABC for Y Qty where X>=Y, but there is no current requirement of the part ABC.in the above scenario, if I Run PMRP then in place of creating PR on Activity A, PMRP will create MTR between Activities between B and A. but the user doesn’t want that. So is there any set-up that I can stop triggering MTR and only create fresh purchase requisition for Activity A while there is already the Same Part qty existing on Activity B?Kind regards,

Hello,I am trying to update a custom field on a custom page on IFS Cloud using workflow/BPA.The value needs to be set to the current user Id.Is there a way to get the current user Id by using a context substitute variable(#USER_ID#) in the value field?I am using  - IFS Aurena client version: 21.2.1.20211105061905.0Thanks in advance,Asheer.

Good afternoonI would appreciate feedback/assistance wrt the following message I get when doing Resource Allocation on a Project Activity:What is required from a setup point of view to ensure the calculation is correct?Thank youAnya

Hi All,I have been exploring the new Contractor Management solution in 25R1 for Request Tasks. I like the idea of creating the PO Lines based on actual reported items like time reported of the contractor. There are multiple customers who have modifications for that in the Work Order solution.But I am supprised to see that in the Release Notes there is a restriction. Which makes it not possible to send the Request Task to the mobile of the Subcontractor Resource...Mobile Work Order for Service Contractor Resources. It is not possible to utilize Mobile Work Order for Service Contractor Resources. Any Request Work Task that is assigned to a Service Contractor cannot be transferred to mobile. I am looking for the reason why this restriction is build in?I have customers who wants to have both their own employees and subcontractors to work with the same mobile Service MWO Solution. But that is not possible for subcontracted orders, as described in the Release Restrictions and by my own test

Hello, we are upgrading from 11.5 to 11.8.4 and I’m testing the creation of a form, process, stage notification email (smartmail) using action processor.  when I try to close the task before the notification stage in the process, this error appears:  The Action Type 'SENDMAIL_GEDS_ATIP' is invalid for Event Type 'CHANGE'. One or more of the above errors was generated attempting to create Task Events from the process 'undefined'. There may be a configuration issue preventing you from progressing this process. If you are not sure why this is happening, please contact your administrator for further assistance.Bear in mind that the old ones from 11.5 work and I just recreated it from an old action type that does work.I believe I’ve checked everything I can to make this work.  It’s not live yet, were still in the testing stages and need to have this working before we go live.

Hi Team, Can we add a task in the workflow to generate streams message? If yes can you please let me know how it can be achieved in IFS cloud? Regards,Rakesh

Just wondering if anyone knows an exact date when support for IFS cloud 24R1 ends. I can see the last SU (SU23) was released last week and I am currently testing 25R1 through the business in our test environment. Just need to get a steer on how long I can take for testing before I need to deploy to production so I am not out of support

Hi,After we input consumption reference, where can find the data?Thanks.

When IFS Support staff need to access PRD or UAT in Cloud Managed Services, should they be issued a generic admin username and password so they can investigate problems with ease or should a company set up a new username and password for each IFS support person along with relevant permissions to enable them to investigate each specific issue? How does each option impact the license agreement, for which the customer is responsible?

Hi All,Unfortunately, I have some junk basic data values, already used, which prevents me from cleaning and deleting.Can I hide these values in order not to appear in LoV and not to be used anymore? Many Thanks in advanceAbdeslam

Hi TeamWe have an IFS-Cloud deployed into onprem infra and now planning to migrate this to Azure either Lift and Shift or to AKS.Does AKS support deployment of IFS-Cloud into a Private Cluster (Customer Managed)?Thank you

We are experiencing a strange client error after our upgrade to 25R2. A client error “cannot read properties of null” appears after saving a record in a list or assistant. The save operation finishes, though. But in an assistant the client error still blocks the flow because the page has to be reloaded or abandoned. Reading the failing code in the console in developer tools, it seems to be related to reading the home pages for entities, constructing URLs for those. It only appears for certain permission sets though, but we cannot figure out exactly what is missing. Any clues?

Dear Experts, I am working in the 25.2.1 environment and noticed that the Customer Order Load List is no longer available, even though it existed in older versions. Has this function been removed, or is there an alternative way to perform that task?24.1.4 - Window 24.1.4 - IFS Doc Regards Yukthila

Hi Experts,I am trying to setup a punchout catalog as per the details given by IFS tech documents.The url provided for OCI protocol is as follows: https://www.samplewebshop/PunchOut/oci?OCIVERSION=4.0&SENDERID=<sender id>&PASSWORD=<password>&USERNAME=<user name>&NEW_ITEM-VENDOR=<vendor>&ACCOUNT_CODE=&AGREEMENT_NO=&OCICANCEL=<url endpoint>&HOOK_URL=<redirect url>?uniqueid=<query parameters> Can someone please explain, are these ‘SENDERID’, ‘USERNAME’ and ‘PASSWORD’ values to be supplied by the webshop vendor? (Are these values same for whoever user uses IFS self service procurement portal to do purchases. Aren’t their user id/password needed ?). Also what are the values needed for <url endpoint> and <redirect url> ? can the redirect url be https://yyyyyy.ifscloud.com/, so that redirects to IFS cloud ? then the url endpoint be vendor web shop ?. Would the vendor supply these values upon us requesting? I

In the past I was able to loop in a PL/SQL Script and, inside that loop provide values parameters that I used to invoke a Projection to perform some action in Bulk. Here is one example:-- Use IFS API repeatedly to perform some actionDECLARE err_code INT; err_msg VARCHAR(512); issue_number SMALLINT := '5189'; CountryCode_ VARCHAR2(32000) := 'AR'; StateCode_ VARCHAR2(32000) := 'CATA'; CountyCode_ VARCHAR2(32000) := '10523'; ETag_ VARCHAR2(32000) := 'W/"AAASGyAAMAAAQjVAAZ:20260107063806"'; Action$_ VARCHAR2(32000) := 'DO'; Return_$_ COUNTIES_HANDLING_SVC.ENTITY_DEC := null; BEGIN FND_SESSION_API.SET_PROPERTY('ODP_SESSION', 'TRUE'); FOR county_code_delete_rec IN ( SELECT COUNTRY_CODE, STATE_CODE, COUNTY_CODE, 'W/"' || OBJID || ':' || OBJVERSION ETAG FROM COUNTY_CODE WHERE COUNTRY_CODE = 'AR' AND ROWNUM <= 10 -- do this in batches ORDER BY COUNTRY_CODE, STATE_CODE, COUNTY_CODE ) LOOP Count

Hi I am looking into a business scenario where we are using project inventory and as a business we need to capture the material consumption cost to the project.Reality material will be stored in a remote location as Project inventory.HTo capture the cost we are planning to issue the material to a workorder using “unplanned material issue” functionality.Work order is connected to the same project activity that the project inventory is connected to. But upon issue of the material via the work order and consumption cost is not moving to the Project monitoring page.I cannot identify how much is consumed at a given time.Anyone worked on a similar situation?Does IFS has a limitation to capture the consumption when project inventory is in used? ThanksChamath

Is there any plan to build/release an Analysis Model for Request Management?

We have setup a report based on a quick information source - Business Reporter and Quick Report.  The query looks like below. The issue is - the results do not yield the end-user who is running the report. This must be an issue in HCM access, but haven’t found a cause yet. Appreciate if you can give us some pointers to look at. Thank you!

We are currently working to implement a single device policy for mWO usage since we have issues with technicians swapping to different devices in the middle of some operations, which causes sync issues.We are attempting to use iPads, but the issue we are running into does seem to apply to iPhones, Androids, and iPads all alike.When we implement our device policy on the iPads, then use mWO, everything seems to work ok, until we go to attach a document to a Work Assignment.  We do this frequently, typically it is a file that we pull from the equipment we are working on with a laptop.  We then upload that document to OneDrive and intend to attach it to the assignment that way.But now that we are implementing Intune, the button that lets us choose which file picker to use in mWO is completely missing.  It should be between the image file chooser and the camera button.  Both mWO and OneDrive are coming from our Company Portal rather than the App Store.  We have attempted to adjust a number

After installation of 25R1 SU10, the ifsapp-iam pod in the middleware is not starting and is showing the following error. Has anyone experienced this issue? I’m testing new 25R1 functionality “Data Access Control” and creating a simple ACL that prevents users from modifying specific records in an Entity (in my case in AbcClass).I’m able to set condition on attribute AbcClass and that prevent ALL users from editing record for Class A but I want to add condition that some users (or user groups) are allowed to do that.So - I’m trying to use “Predefined Parameters” SESSION_USER and SESSION_USER_IN_GROUPS but in that case, “Save” button is not activated for some reason.Question is how those “Predefined Parameters” can be used? Is anyone managed to use those “Predefined Parameters”?This is hor ACL Designer looks like (“Save” is not active):

Hi All,  I have this quick report that works, the users have asked if it could be in a lobby - it is using three tables to get the information, how can I do this in a lobby data source or is this not possible?SELECT    i.part_no,    i.location_no,    i.lot_batch_no,    i.qty_onhand,    i.receipt_date,    p.max_quantity_capacity,    h.handling_unit_id,    h.handling_unit_type_idFROM inventory_part_in_stock_uiv i,     part_handling_unit p,     handling_unit_extended hWHERE i.contract = 'CAS'  AND i.part_no = p.part_no  AND h.handling_unit_type_id = p.handling_unit_type_id  AND h.handling_unit_id = i.handling_unit_id  AND i.qty_onhand <> 0  AND i.qty_onhand <> p.max_quantity_capacity  AND i.receipt_date >= sysdate -3 Thanks as always for your help, Sarah

Hi Community,It is noted that, from IFS in any page, there are POST calls being sent to www.fullstory.com.This has been seen in different customer environments where no customizations present. Even in our internal Core enviroronment (25R1) has sending these requests as well. Payload seems to be encrypted, however, sending any data to a 3rd party is concerning. Does anyone know what this is and why this is happening?  Appreciate any input. Thank you./Nimesh

We are currently supporting a customer who is considering the use of the SaaS version of IFS Cloud Services.As part of their requirements, they would like to send emails from scheduled tasks and other background processes.In this context, we would like to confirm whether an SMTP server is provided as part of IFS Cloud Services, either as a standard feature or as an optional service.If SMTP services are not provided by IFS, we would appreciate it if you could share how others have addressed this requirement.Thank you in advance for your support.
