connect Customer Order to Purchase order

Dear community,I am using use Customer orders with line supply code Purch Order Trans.What I would like to do is to connect the customer order with an existing purchase order.This can be achieved with regular functionality, however, despite I can connect customer order with an existing Purchase order Header, the result of the opération is always the creation of a new purchase order line inside the purchase order.Is there a way to connect directly the customer order with the existing Purchase order header an Purchase order line? error "An entry with same key already exists" reappears after clearing user profile

We have a customer who is getting "An entry with same key already exists" error on Equipment object navigator > PM action page and Functional object >spare parts page. Whenever they get the error they delete the “ColOrder” value from user profile and that solves the issue. But the problem is after some time they get the error back. They have no idea on what kind of behaviors cause this error to be back. They are looking for a permanent solution for this. What could be the reason for this error to reappear? I have already referred below thread but it does not mention any reasons for this error to reappear.

When applying Update 12, a database lock occurs on FNDMOB_INSTALLATION and prevented the update from moving forward

Hi community, Customer is upgrading to Apps 10 UPD 12. During the upgrade following DB Locks has prevented the upgrade and took around 5 hours to complete. Upon a knowledge search, and confirmed with customer that,no modifications made to the Foundation role “TOUCHAPPS_RUNTIME” 'TOUCHAPPS_RUNTIME' role has not 'Fndmob_Installation_API' granted Customer has seen this on all upgrades made in Apps 10 for them so far,Does anyone know a possible reason for this and possible solutions?

Touch Apps - What Happens after the expiration of default 30min session time?

Hi community,Using Azure AD for authentication.I have two questions.What’s the behavior of the system, after expiring the session ID which has a limit of default 30 min? Will a new Session ID generated and client stay connected or should the client/user has to login again? Is there any way to extend the lifetime of 30mins session? Appreciate any input. /Nimesh

Hi User cannot see payroll postings of specific employees. IFSAPP user ID can see all postings. Since user can see other employees’ postings, this cannot be an access issue or posting issue. Kindly assist on this. Thanks in Advance

Error in validation of custom attribute

Hi!I have created a new custom tab/page with three attributes, one of should be referred from ISO_COUNTRY but getting this kind of error when trying to approve it “The ROWKEY functionality is not enabled on the Logical Unit "IsoCountry", referenced from attribute "RIN_COUNTRY" on the Logical Unit "RinCodes".”This page were showing prod_no, rin_code and rin_country. How this should be done that I could use this ISO_COUNTY list?

IAL scheduled for the last day of the month at 14:15 runs as scheduled but then every 10 mintes for 8 hours

I scheduled an IAL to run on the last day of the month at 4:15:00 PM. (trunc(last_day(sysdate()) + 16.25/24). It started at the correct date and time, but when I look at the background jobs for the day, I find that it ran every 10 minutes after that for about 8 hours. Then it stopped. It rescheduled itself for 11/30/2022 4:15:00 PM. You can see from the screen shot below that the last time it ran was at 12:05:27 AM on 11/1/2022.What would cause it to continue to execute every 10 minutes for 8 hours?What can I look at? None of the logs show any errors.

Simplified part creation process

We are looking for an alternative to create parts. (APPS 10, Upd 11)I like the New Part Assistant wizard, but it does not cover all our needs.Does anyone have experience with part creation using a custom page or using an own wizard (not sure, if this is possible at all).Our target is to use templates per Divisions and ask the user to enter only the required and relevant data. This should be as simple as possible, as the users who need to create a customer order and need a sales part for this, are not aware of all needs of part data.I also know about the option to create parts using assortments, but for certain fields the default values are not generic enough for our needs.Thank you for your feedback!Regards Martina

Customer access for SAs - v15.2/15.4

We have certain customers with limited access (such as airports), where the SAs need to have clearance to get in. We need to have a way to see this when we assign an order in Dispatch Console. What is the best way to set up and maintain this in Alliance? We may have several SAs with access. And we would also cases where we can assigne a SA without access (if other SAs are unavailable) - but we then need to know that we need to book eg. supervision for the SA.Is skills the way to go? Handling this on Site-level would be preferred

Physical Inventory

We just completed our first physical inventory in IFS 10. When I created a count report, I realized that it only had 640 inventory part numbers. Our system actually has 1399 part numbers. The result was that I had physical counts and no line to report them to. I discovered that lots of parts had been created with someone clicking the “Cycle Counting” box. Last night I did a mass update to change everything to countable. However, this morning, the new count report still only has 640 items. What am I missing?

Transfering Drone and ROV captured data to IFS

Hi,We have deployed drone-assisted technology to assist in collecting high quality data during close-up inspections when entering hazardous areas such as confined spaces. We also have been using ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicles) for getting different measurements in offshore vessels operating in oil and gas related operations.We are now exploring ways of getting these data to IFS. It would be great to know If someone already has experience in this area, and the different solutions used.We are in APP10 UPD15.

Group by error on custom field on Project History Info -> Revenue

HiWe get the following error on the Project History Info → Summary → Revenue after we added custom fields. In this screenshot RR Actual is a custom field, just a simple persistent number field. The field itself has no select so it cant be failingIs this an error or is it simply not intended for new fields to be added here?Best Regards

Frequent Server Errors on IFS Cloud 22R1 - caused by invalid path?

New Customer, currently going live in January 2023We are on 22R1SU5, and we frequently get many server errors when navigating pages - sometimes these go away when hitting refresh / reload, but occasionally these persist. A user this morning was going into “Supplier Invoices for Final Posting Analysis” and was repeatedly getting the server error: Error while serializing contents.This error happens when the server cannot serialize the data to be sent to the client.A common cause is that one attribute's length exceeds the defined maxlength in the projection.To find more info, open Log Window or Debug Console, refresh and then check Network Tab in DevTools. In the response there can be more detailed information about the exception. Capture labour cost through time registration window

Hi All,In my case, employee register their project wise time through time registration window.When time registration is authorized, project transaction is created under TIME project code. It records only time figure but no costing figures.If I RMB on the record, go to posting there are two valid records. But there is no amount. There is not any voucher created for this record.My requirement is to add employee costing figures to application. Where do I enter those costing figures. Can I use Standard Cost window?If I put costing figures somewhere, will it create a voucher when time registration is authorized?Any help document for this requirement?Regards,Malinda

Incorrect Domestic Amount in Expense Sheet and Voucher

Hi All, I am experiencing a strange problem in Expense sheet and in the E voucher created in relation to that. The company’s Accounting currency is EUR and it doesn't have a parallel currency. The expense is entered in SEK which has a currency rate of 10.84. Therefore when an expense is entered for 100 SEK and paid in EUR the equivalent amount in Pay currency is 9.22 (EUR) which is correct. However the domestic amount which should also be in EUR has a different amount (1,084.21) As you can see the value entered in SEK has reverse calculated the amount for EUR. Event archiving processing times

Hello. Has anyone in the community had success using the dbArchive tool to archive and/or delete large numbers of events? We are currently investigating archiving in assyst, and we have about 1,400,000 events to either delete or archive. From our testing, it seems that the tool takes about 21 seconds per event, which would mean archiving the required events in our database would take months. We posed a question to IFS support about how to increase the speed or archiving, but they were not able to provide any guidance.

How can I add a field to a report to be used in Report Rules?

I am trying to create a Report Rule for ORDER_QUOTATION_REP but the field I want to use is not available. MARKET_CODE is available on the SALES QUOTATIONS screen but not in the ORDER_QUOTATION_REP view. How can I add this field? Should I use IFS Developer Studio? Are there other ways to add fields?Thanks,
