Hello,With an ETL and REST components, I create orders in IFS. Hi,On the document : V6 Through 15.4 SU2 Feature Comparison we have a functionality Time of Day Travel. I think that function is linked to the transaction Time slot DSE.Could you explain how does it work ?What settings in the DSE session is linked to this Time Slot ?Traffic conditions at a particular time slot is not equal for each location : For example Traffic conditions at 8/10 AM in Paris/London is not equal for the same time slot in a suburban area / rural area.In the same way At 8/10 AM in Paris/London on Monday is not equal that on Saturday.So, I would like to know the usage and impact of this functionality ?thanks and Regardsanthony

We are on Appsv9, and have just applied update 16. We have noticed that on occasions, Print Manager is erroring with ‘No PDF report returned from Crystal Web Service’. Obviously this is only on documents that are generated via Crystal Web Service. We have 3 x Crystal Web Services running and as far as I can remember, we have not seen this issue in Apps v9 before. The error in the Crystal Web Service log is: 18/03/2020 15:23:06[IFSCRWebSetupIFS9Lb]-[GetSavedPDFReport] The web instance is busy. The request will be forwarded to the next available instance. Has anyone else had this? has anyone seen this behaviour after an update? (we were on update 12). My guess would be to create a couple more Web services, but i suspect something somewhere has changed, for this to become a problem now. I believe we are only seeing this when the system is busy. Afternoon, I’ve noticed recently within our application messages we’re getting ‘spammed’ every 10 seconds with a failure for the same error. It seems to state the following for IFSAPP.  When I read the XML message embedded it states the issue could be with NotifyMe app which we don’t use currently;<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?><MANAGEMOBILEAPPLICATION_LOADCLIENTMETADATA><APP_NAME>NotifyMe</APP_NAME><CLEAN_LOAD>FALSE</CLEAN_LOAD></MANAGEMOBILEAPPLICATION_LOADCLIENTMETADATA>I tried to edit ‘Installed Apps/Devices’ for NotifyMe however, I get the exact same error within there also. Any ideas on how to resolve, we’re on Apps 10 Upd12.Thanks

I’m wondering if anyone has managed to generate QR codes to be scanned via a zebra handheld? My preference would be to use Crystal Reports (Report def: Inventory_Part_Barcode_Rep) which when printed would create the QR code with some additional basic data (Part no etc). I’ve looked through the community and haven’t seen anyone create any guides or best practices on how to implement QR codes within Crystal. The potential method I can see is using IDAutomation however, I didn’t know if there’s any alternative or a guide to follow? We currently have access to IFS Report Designer and Crystal Reports 2016 which we can use to create 2d barcodes however, realistically I’d like to generate a QR code using GS-1 Barcode Parameters. E.g. similar to below however, instead using a QR code.Thanks all

We want to report all activities as been done at the customer or remotly from our helpdesk.We would like to use the field Location in the activity demands to mark the difference:We use Customer Support module in v15.4.4.0 where phone sessions are automatically added in the order. But the Location is set “On Site” by default. Can we change this to be set to “Last Known Location” by default ?Same happens if we manually add an activity in the Customer Support Order, the activity is also set “on Site “by default” In mobile Edge, the default is correctly “At Site” 

Hi, I have created and released a Work Task from IFS Cloud and it displays allocated in PSO. However, upon trying to manually commit it in PSO, I get the following error message and the Activity remains Allocated:  I also see these broadcast warnings in the Events: Does anybody know what could be causing this issue? HI is there a specific configuration or attention to have when you have two astea publisher website installed on 2 different VM in load balancing ? (for example do we have to copy the astea publisher site from one machin to an other to ensure that the package manifest are the same etc,...) 

Our purchasing department would like to know if it is intended that the Purchase Order Lines overview screen is not editable? I’m in IT so I have access to everything and I can’t modify this screen. My reasoning I gave her that you can’t do mass changes on this (e.g. change all the dates or change the inspection criteria) is because this view PURCHASE_ORDER_LINES_ALL combines both no part order lines and part order lines views. So maybe because of this and no part order lines having different primary keys than part order lines that maybe this is why? If someone could give me a reason or tell me that this screen is editable and I’m missing something, that would be very helpful.

Hi!We created a new cost element and it is used in cost bucket already. Then we find we need change the description from Finish to English. Seems it cannot be changed. How can I change it? Update it from Oracle database directly? If update DB, is there other table field need change together also?We use IFS 8.  

I am new to dimensions, facts, and items. Is there a document or something I could read? My problem is I am trying to modify some BA reports that use certain information sources, and inside the sources there are existing dimensions, but the dimensions miss certain items that I want to add to them. I tried to add items on IFS from Information Sources → Dimensions → add new. But it asks me to incorporate a Fact that links the item to the dimension.The question is, can someone please show me a way to add a new item to an existing dimension?Thanks 

I have started of with a rather simple workflow and kept expanding it. Until I hit an error that I just can't put my finger on. When using the flow in the place where it should be triggered, I now get an error: “ETag is incorrect”.I've noticed that ETag is shown at the elements, at least most of them, in the bottom. The help text on ETag goes along the line that one can override it so the flow continues. I've left the override ETag to the default of unchecked. I got the mentioned error message. For a couple of elements that I've been adding lately, I have also tried to use the Override ETag option and turned it on. After deployment I still get the error that the ETag is incorrect.Next was to turn on the network debug of Bing (yes, I did the same in Chrome) and it gives me the following error:Still no clue in this one for me. Hi,I have a question about purchasing and invoice processing.Our supplier creates the invoice and waybill on the same date. We receive the products on the date they arrive at our warehouse. However, since the invoice date is before the receipt date, we cannot process the invoice in the system. Why does IFS not allow this?Thanks a lot,Âdil

We are looking at going live soon with an entity in US and weeks before GO live we have stumbled upon quite a big bug regarding sales tax in 22R1. We use the standard/out of the box integration with Vertex O Series to get the applicable tax amount and percentage for the products we sell.It's often the case in some US states that for some products only 80% of the net amount will be considered as taxable. The information about tax % and tax amount and taxable amount is coming from Vertex via standard interface.The issue is that in Customer Order the tax amounts are correct (header and lines), but when the invoice is created, the system recalculates the Gross Amount and Tax Amount at Invoice Header level based on tax percentages coming from Vertex, but it considers the whole net amount as taxable -> thus creating wrong postings in Accounting for IP2 and IP4.It’s hard to believe no other US customer came across this issue and it’s still an issue in 22R1.HAs anyone else faced the same is

The issue was, whenever the customer tried to work with smart client, the Object reference not set to an instance of an Object error was popping out intermittently.This is not happening for a specific functionality or screen. Randomly the error get triggered. Customer only start to face this issue after upgrade the FSM from 12 to 18. Once the error triggered, the user can see the same error message in the other screen as well. After the relogin this issue is not happening for a while, and but some time later again the same error triggered.Based on the log file investigation, I have found that issue in the authentication session token. So customer is facing this issue only login through the SSO credentials. Greetings, IFS Community. As a user, I have encountered the situation where data is not visible after the user clicks the populate button. Is there a requirement that the user belongs to a specific pool of authorizations? Could you please let me know what I am missing? Using IFS9   

Hello Experts, Currently the maximum limit for remittance items for supplier check is 10.   Do you have any suggestions for a customer who is asking more than that. They already use he remittance code as  ‘Separate’ and still not happy with that. Are there any already provided customizations?  Thanks.

The forward button is disabled, when trying to forward a report through report archive window.Once we select the forward button after selecting a report, a pop-up will appear to select a user or a user group. After we selected a user and proceed to the next step, the forward button is disabled.Are there any pre-requisites existing to enable this Forward button? 

Hi,We’ve been using Automatic Account matching for some of our Ledger accounts and periodization accounts. For example account 1700 - Prepayment and accrued income.If I have an account, where the transactions are not related to AR or AP and I want to match by site and/or counterpart or any other code part, would it be possible? Is there a way to decide which matching parameters should apply for a given account? Set tolerance and so on.
