In 23R1, I see that the Dataset screen has a tab at the bottom for parameters, but it is not enabled to add rows in the customer’s environments.  How is the entry of new rows enabled?  The customer wants to enable url links to IFS Cloud pages directly from the scheduling workbench, and I’ve told that this is where it can be done.  Is there documentation about this feature?  

Hello,I’m in 23R1, it is a new database for us.  I’m trying to use Page Designer but when I save, I get a message the system gives me this message:Your system administrator has not granted permission to complete that action.Does anyone know what permission it is that I need to be granted?  Thank you.Patrick

Hi ExpertsI have in App10 update 15 a wierd behaviour. when i Print the reminder the system somethimes fetches the wrong title. Below you see a invoice which is on level 1 and gets the Titel “Letzte Mahnung”.if i check the reminder template translation title is should come “Zahlungserinnerung” but in this case the system fetched for the invoice level 1 the Reminder Title from Level 3 funny thing is that the reminder text is correct thoughI also checkt that the customer has defined in the customer data the correct template 1 does anyone has an idea what the issue is?

When we import IFS e-Invoices then sometimes the file cannot be found. This means when the invoice gets created the file must be attached to the posting proposal manually. This is a awful lot of work when you receive more than 50 invoice a day. the result is that you dont have a pdf attached to the posting proposal which makes the creation of the posting very difficult.I assume this has to do with the release of 22R1. New we must import the PDF through the IFS connect Document__file_ImportBefore the release 22R1 the setup for the pdf file was made in the company header through the tab invoice:The Problem (i assume) whenever the XML gets imported before the PDF(see below Message ID that the xml was imported first)Then the pdf cannot be found when the invoice gets imported through ifs connectHere the Setup:The Routing Adress for the PDF importRouting rule for the pdf Import :Routing adress for the xml importRouting adress for the XML importOne Reader for both routing rulesHere is an exam

HISome customers which are in the process to upgrade to V15.4 are asking the following : in V14.5  (or trough the astea browser in V15) you were able to open  for example in the customer support qbe  the customer support selected in a new tab  in the web employee portal in V15.4SU5 we can’t do this or we don’t know how to do this or perhaps it will be in a future SU ?thanks for your feedbackChristophe

We are finding that when creating Custom lookups and linking them to new Single Select fields, that a blank option appears in the lookup (that isn’t there in the Custom Lookup) But it only looks to be on some, and not others -   Is this something anyone else is experiencing? Are there any fixes?

Hi All, We have following situation for a machine building company: Their machines are build using different modules which are easily interchangeable. So we have for example a Serial Object with Serial ‘1’ which is composed of 5 modules A,B,C, D and E; Each module is also a Serial Object and ‘Contained’ within the structure of Serial Object 1.  The Serial object 1 was purchased by a client X years ago, but his machine was outdated and he replaced it with a new one, our customer got the old one back as part of the new machine deal.  Now they want to ‘upgrade’ that old machine. Upgrading means: they will disconnect all modules, and re-insert a combination of new and existing modules into the machine frame so it becomes a new model (= new part number, and new part serial). So Serial Object 1 is back on stock after the sale has been made. They will strip module A,B,C,D, E and put these on stock - together with the machine frame.  Now they take the machine frame and insert modules, A,B, E,

Hi experts, This is regarding FSM Mobile Cloud deliveries.I have done a customization in mobile and this needs to be deployed in cloud. I need to know if it is mandatory to upgrade the version from the code before building the apk? Eg. Does the this need to be updated to 6.22.8363? Also, once a new apk is deployed to cloud, does the installer automatically upgrade the version as in the screenshot above or is it fetched from the code? Cheers,Buddhima.

Hi,Over the weekend, we deployed Update 18 along with a number of other deliveries to Production environment Apps 10.We have some users whose Service request screen layout has been corrupted, and the fields are not showing clearly allowing them to create records. See below:  I have cleared their dotNET Cache, removed the content in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0 and cleared their personal profile for the specific screen frmWoFaultReportCustOrderTab. All attempts fail. However when user account is used on a different PC, the screen appears okay so suggests a client issue!?How and where do I go to rectify this please? Please respond ASAPThanks in advance 

Hi Guys Wondering if anyone with past experience can answer this.We’ve installed Slovakian Localization pack, but wondering what’s the best way to implement on a Company. Is it better to install Localization and then create a Company (we’re going to use it on a new Company) or it doesn’t matter if Company already exists? Just making sure it won’t cause any issue down the line. In IFSAPP 10, if tax controls of the company has been ticked for Object Level, Address Level and Transaction Level and if a tax code has been given in the customer window Delivery Tax Information ; the customer will be charged with both taxes when creating customer orders. Is this a bug as this amount will be carried forward to the invoice as well? It seems that this was not the case in IFSAPP 09 as we used to have the Tax Regime Concept.

IFS help is asking me to check Scheduling Basic Data but I can’t find it anywhere. All items in my navigator are unhidden. Is it called something else in my version?

Hi,I am looking for suggestions on how to handle the classification of the same physical part for different use cases.  We are looking to classify as part as:For production For Warranty For Repair For MaintenanceWe have thought about the following options, but was hoping for any other suggestions:Use of condition codes on the part Use of Availability Codes on the part Create duplicate part numbers with a prefix/suffixAdditionally, the business is looking to serialize some parts, but not in inventory.  Which would preclude the first two options above.  Option #3 is possible, but would require additional steps when we are looking to convert parts from one class to another. (either a count in/count out or a unidirectional flow of shop orders) Are there any other ways to handle this situation? 

Hello,I have created a crystal report for a customer order Pick list, but when I try to view the report in quick reports, I get this error I configured the selection formula to match the IFS result key on the Customer order pick list rep view’s result key as seen in an IFS Cloud tutorial, but still no luck viewing it on this page. Does anyone have experience with configuring crystal reports?
