Approval Routing for an Approval ID in Sub Contract

Hello,I’m in 23R1 and working with Sub Contract/Sub Contract Approvals. I have an Approval ID set in the Approvals section of this screen. According to the materials I have and what I remember from the old days, I should be able to associate and approval routing to my approval ID. I must be missing something. How do I tie the approval routing to the approval id so that I need to have all steps approved before I can change the status to Awarded, for example.Thank youPatrick

Removing a custom field Apps9

Hi I had created a custom field CF$_PROJECTNO in ActiveSeparate logical unit, however it wasn’t required anymore so I removed it via the UI, but it is still there in the DB, please see views below - what is the best way to remove this field?this is the UI view - no PROJECTNO field at all Your help very much appreciated as skill set here to alter the database has moved on to pastures new.

Is it possible to restrict the hours in project time reporting?

Hi,We have a requirement in project time registration where hours should not exceed the scheduled hours of the employee.For instance, if hours in employee files>» employment>Assignments > scheduled hours is 8 then system should not allow that employee to book more than 8 hours Is there any options in IFS to control or we can archive it via configuration/modification.

Cloud 22R2 - Error During Compilation of LU

Hello,I’ve created a custom entity (STTaskType) and deployed successfully. Trying to reference an Attribute (Task_Type) from this entity to another custom entity (STDispositionCode).Apart from the Referenced attribute (Task_Type_Ref), I’m able to Publish the other attributes in STDispositionCode.While publishing this attribute, I get the below error. Kanban card No can not be continued scanner within certain interval

HelloWhen to scanner Kanban card no# for replenishment, can we do some limit to avoid duplicate scan within 1 day interval and where to define this limit in IFS? (eg: below barcode ID 101370 only can be scanned maximum 2 times or 1 time per day)Please help to check and feedback.ThanksSusan

IFS Cloud22R2 - Rest API Sending 4xx https error codes

Hi All,Assume we have a custom REST API (POST) called by a third party.Is there a way to generate https 4xx error codes for validations OR is it always 5xx for Business Validations.If IFS Business Logic raises an error using Error_Sys.Record_General, then it will be a 500 error (ORA-20110: ).Third party system who calls IFS Custom API prefers to have 4xx errors for business validations rather then 5xx errors.

Impossible to register arrival of purchase order due to locked purchase order recod

Dear all, I get a problem on 22R2 when I try to register arrivals of some purchase orders. I get the following error “The update could not be performed since the purchase order record is currently locked. Please retry the operation.”Did you already have this problem and have a solution ? WaDaCo app - access to previous versions

We are implementing cloud in stages and the wadaco element is now due. We are currently on 22R1 and when we are testing devices, we are unable to get them to work as the app is asking for the latest IFS version.We won’t be going live on this so are concerned about how the app will work.Is there any advice available for installing an older version of the app that will work with 22R1 please?

Group VAT set up in IFS APP-10

Dear CommunityWe are looking to set up Group VAT return in VAT, There will be four companies, could you please someone please advise how we do this, we are using BTC software to submit the MTD.For example company 100, will be the main company which will be submitting the VAT return on behalf of the all group, how do we add the other companies to the VAT return. Multi VAT on supplier invoices

Dear Community We have supplier who have multiple VAT on their invoice, for example ingredients will be 0% VAT but delivery charge or an item will be 20%.How do we process these invoices via posting proposal as once its created via Prelimiary invoice you cannot amend the VAT amount and the only way we know is going to Manual supplier invoice and processing this.Is there better way of dealing with kind of invoices. Quick Search

Can we remove the “Quick Search” from the modules search fields ?Often employees come back that Astea doesn’t give them the correct information they searched for. They are mistaken by using the quick search field instead of the proper search criteria field for the requiered type of information. Quick Search often is confusing.By default the Quick Search apears in all modules, why not add it in the “Add Criteria” selection so we can create a correct organizational views ? We’re on V15.4.4.0

Can you attach media item type video?

Can you attach media item type video? When I create a new media item (type video) I get an error. You can select Video in the Media Item Type selection but I can’t attach a file. Is there a certain file type I should use. We ar on APPS10 UPD11.

Constraining a task to be manually scheduled

Currently, when we want a task to go to PSO but to be manually scheduled, we apply a skill of MANUAL SCHEDULE to the task. That way, PSO will not find a resource with the matching skill and the task will sit there until it is manually scheduled.However, we want to use Schedule Assistance to manually schedule that task in PSO. We can deselect “Match Skills” and that ignores the Manual Schedule skill requirement, but we want to see suggestions for resources with the other required skills.We tried using a value of 0 for the task, but for some reason it still schedules the task.Is there some way to get PSO to not schedule the task, without having to use the MANUAL SCHEDULE skill trick?

Apps 10 - unable to login after applying delivery

Hi Everyone,I have an odd problem. I have installed delivery 004 to my apps10 test installation (which was previously working) and I am now unable to login either by aurena or EE.All middleware managed servers, deployments and data sources show as green on the admin console. Database is up and running. There doesn’t appear to be any important invalid database objects (the ones that are invalid are ones I’m currently developing), and there were no errors reported during installation. HR - Configuration of start and end times for half-day holiday requests

Hi, We are having a problem with overlapping half-day absence requests.When an employee requests a half-day off in the morning, the end time is 14:00, and when he requests a half-day off in the afternoon for the same day, the start time is 13:00.There is therefore a 1-hour overlap, making it impossible to approve the second half-day of absence.The half-day should end at 13:00 and not 14:00.
