When using approval process in sales quotation in Cloud 22r2 we are getting the below error when trying to approve the approval step. This error occurs in any status of the sales quotation.   

Navigate to Disposition Shop OrderSearch a SO-No: >Click on the three dots in right top corner in the header areaGo to Reports> Work InstructionsClick OK from the next window as in the SS.As the next step when you click Preview Button as in the SS the following error appears.When we refer the error from Print Manger following error is there.  This error is only appearing for particular shop orders there are correctly working reports as well. The Error as follows:Error Occured while rendering the (plugin) report. Error: GENREPORTIO:Could not generate report: 'TRANS_SAX_ERROR:Failed transforming report data: 'Error while removing Invalid XML characters. Does anyone have documentation of this functionality in terms of what data it copies from the customer template? I’ve looked on the IFS documentation website but I can't seem to find the details on it. 

Hello, I found that some of the invoices has multiple tax lines, even though there is only one tax_jurisdiction provided. In some of the invoices, duplicated tax lines are found and in some other wrong tax amount are found.This happens for invoices raised for Service Orders and Consolidated Contract types. Is there anything to check from my end that would help me to resolve the issue. Thanks in advance.

Hi All,  We are trying to get guest users on our AAD to access our AssystNet. However when we use the UPN which is formatted as “Firstname.Surname_<Third Party Domain>#EXT~@<Our Domain>.onmicrosoft.com” as the contact users login field beginning ad-. The user is receiving a SAML error.  Has anyone had any success in granting guest users access to their assystNet with AzureAD authentication?

Is is still possible to create data sources for lobbies from saved searches in IFS Cloud 23R1?I can’t seem to find an option to do this?

In some companies there are instances where when currency revaluation is executed there are no foregin currecy tranactions and therefor there will not be any gain or loss to post. In those situations if we try to create a currency revaluation and post an error will occur as “No Gain/Loss to post. But it is possible that foreign currency transactions may occur in the future. when this happens, Is the recommended approach not to create a currency revaluation record for that month?

IFS Apps 10 UPD19 Hi All,As a PoC, I am currently investigating the possibly of moving one of our test middleware services from Windows to Oracle Linux platform.Without creating a new ‘middleware home’ on this Linux server and then re installing 150-ish releases into it, does anybody know if it would be possible to use the ‘Clone’ option from the Windows server and then re create the middleware on the Linux server?If not, has anybody else down this (moving from Windows to Linux) or have any idea what would be the best way forward..I believe my options are limited and would have to go the re installing the releases route..Any help / assistance would be greatly appreciated.James 

Hi All,Assume third parties invoke IFS REST APIs from outside.How do we monitor/audit, What APIs  are called from outside/when and what users calling APIs.Is there any location where we can monitor each and every call? Note that every call may not be successful owing to errors raised from IFS but we need to monitor each and every call irrespective of their status: successful or unsuccessful.

The function to select a macro for example for editing a document is working good in IEE.We get a question if there are more than one macros defined for one document process.In IEE it looks like This dialog is not shown in Aurena. When creating a  Project, the currency rate that applies is based on the company; however, we need transactions to occur based on the Customer’s currency code.  We have entered the pricing for USD rates, but transactions on the Project Transaction screen is still showing as EUR. Is there a field that allows us to change the currency rate so all transactions occur in USD?

There is one invoice which is not picked up by GL Distribution Batch and doesn’t have GL batch ID for this invoice. We checked other corresponding invoices and we could see that they have been picked up by GL distribution batch and has GL Batch ID. What should be done in this case and what is the reason to why this invoice wasn’t picked by GL Distribution batch. Thanks in advance.

Hi, our customer has av Event for notifying the next authorizer by e-mail. Now they want to remove “NOTIFY_NEXT_AUTH” from the e-mail and only have the no_reply_ifs - adress. Is that possible to remove from the event?  Thanks!Emma
