Hello, community: 

We are utilizing IFS10 Cloud with the existing Java Print Agent. Upon discovering the availability of a .NET print agent, we would like to transition to this newer version. Is it feasible to install the .NET print agent alongside the current Java print agent initially and transition all print agents to the .NET version?

Hi @wijesiri,

You can run both Print Agents side by side. Just make sure you don’t map the same logical printer in both Print Agents. In other words, a given logical printer should exist in only one Print Agent, regardless of the fact whether it is a Java PA or a .Net PA. 

You would also need to make sure the REST port specified in the .Net Print Agent is open in the Print Agent host machine. If it is in use by another process, you can simply use a different port.
