PR's for Subcon lines

​@Npoyraz When you mention that your “PR's release the moment a Shop order is created”, are you referring to the PR's are simply being created in Planned status, or that they are created AND change status from Planned to Released automatically? Just looking for clarification between ‘created’ and ‘released’.

Working through the standard flow, i.e., no customizations in use. With the Outside Op Supply Type set to Purchase Requisition, when a shop order is initially moved to or created in (based on the Site setting) Released status, the system will create a Purchase Requisition in Planned status for the outside operation, regardless of the operation's start date. It is then up to the user to release and process this requisition in the purchasing flow. This functionality provides the ability to present suppliers with the requisition in advance of when the Purchase Order must be released.

Hi ​@matt.watters the PR is created when the shop order is released, but it stays in planned status. I want to be able to control the release of the planned req from the subcon line. In our business we would never provide a req to a supplier. PO is issued when the parts are physically ready to leave the building for subcontract process and PO is sent to the supplier advising them parts are on their way and a copy attached to the physical parts.  I want to be able to use the subcon line as a signal between production and buyer/planners so when they see the req, that’s the signal that parts are making their way to shipping and we need to issue the PO. Currently we have lines of planned orders and no idea which are ready and which aren’t. It’s an email back and forth and it’s very inefficient. SAP allows this and it works really well, so I was just wondering if IFS does something similar. I’m new to IFS. Thank you.
