Hi all,

When using Mass Update Shop Order Structures to update shop orders, I would like to know where I can see exactly which changes were made to the shop orders by this mass update.
Is there any specific log or history that shows the old and new values for the updated material lines? These updates cannot be found in the shop order history, I can only find the manual changed materials/ routings. Also I dont see the changes records in the background job information.

Kind regards,

Willem

@12gWilleD , yes, you are correct. There is no entry for your test plan, and that is expected.

The system creates only a single entry for a revision update when a revision change is reported. In your case, no revision change was reported; therefore, the system did not create any entry in the history table.

Please note that even if a revision change results in multiple changes to shop material lines, the system will still generate only one history entry for that revision change.

 Hi @12gWilleD,

The system does create the History Log for mass update as well.

Please refer to the screenshot below, where highlighted entry created due to mass update, although, it will be difficult to identify exact entry created by mass update since it is identical to the manual update entry.

Thanks for your reply @Abdul

But I dont see this update in the shop order history in below situation:

-There is 1 revision for a mfg part

-I remove 1 material line from the structure in the shop order

-I do the mass update, I fill in I want to replace revision 1 by revision 1.

-In the shop order I can see the lines is added again

-In the history there is no record of this.

So I am updating revision 1 with revision 1, I assume there is no record because it is the same revision, so no revision change.

Any other page to see these changes?
