Hi All,

I am trying to get DDMRP working for a client in Apps10, but I seem to be missing something as I don’t see any data on ‘Demand Driven Execution for Parts’ window. Steps followed include;

1.Run Cumulative Lead Time calculation for the site.

2.Set the buffered parts.

3.Run Perform Lead Time Category Classification.

4.Run Calculate Historical Average Daily Usage.

5.Calculate buffer zones.

6.Manual adjustment to ‘ADU’ quantity (to make changes to calculations).

7.Recalculate buffer zones.

8.Run MRP for site.

9.Can see records in ‘Demand Driven Planning for Parts’ window.

But can’t see any records in ‘Demand Driven Execution for Parts’ window. So, what am I missing here? Any thoughts?

Hi All,

Any feedback/suggestions on this?

Hi,

You need to convert some of your “reqs” to order. For testing: I typically create PO Lines from PO Reqs and then I reduce the PO Line Qty to mess up things. Then run MRP again. So hopefully you get some red or yellow execution alerts when testing this. In Demand Driven Execution system checks onhand  qty versus “onhand” buffer zones thresholds (I think you can read about it in the field descriptions). It signals: “we need to expedite the open supply order, coz the buffer safety is in danger”. We penetrate too deep down in the buffer.

Cheers,

Mats
