Hi All, I know you can peg a Work Task Material Line to a Purchase Order (either by New Purchase Requisition Line or manually after creation of the PO wher you can use ‘Manual pegging of work Order Material Line’). But can you also peg a Work Task Material Line to a Shop Order? On a CO you can use ‘Supply Code’ = ‘Shop order’ or ‘DOP’ to create a connection between CO and SO. But on the Work Task, thge only options you have for Supply Code is ‘Invent order’ or ‘Project Inventory’. The option ‘New Purchase Requisition Line’ is not helpfull because the part in question is not a purchase part but a manufactured part. But we want it pegged to avoid that the WO requested part will be used for production of wholesale goods. As long as it is not pegged/reserved, there is a chance  by MRP would see it as an available part. Best RegardsRoel

Different tabs in the Attachment section of a Page such as, Document, Approval Steps, Media, etc. can be enabled from the Object Connections page by adding these options to the Service List of the particular Logical Unit. However, I cannot seem to find this page in IFS APP 10 Aurena or IFS Cloud versions. How can I do the same thing in these versions?  

Hello, I have asked this question before but I would like to get final confirmation that IFS Cloud does not currently support the ability to schedule workflows to get run. Workflows can only be run via an event action or projection action. Is this correct? Everything else is a work around that IFS Cloud is not intended to do.  Thanks,Bryan

In Cloud, is there a way to connect technical classes or characteristics (attachments section) to a shop order?

Hi,I have a customer invoice created from customer order, I would like to add prepostings on the Customer Invoice for IP2 when the invoice is in Preliminary. I have added posting controls with prepostings but I still do not get the option to add on customer Invoice-Preposting. How can I enable the option? Appreciate your guidance on issue. Hi, On the Authority Combination screen what do you enter if you want a rule to show all Code part B’s beginning with 2 and all blanks.  I know you enter 2% or ‘space’, but how do you combine the two? Many thanks.

It seems the standard company template for Denmark does not provide a Danish Tax Template. I find it rather strange that a large ERP with strong Nordic presence is not supporting all Nordic countries out of the box with such a basic report.Other parties in the IFS community seem to confirm that DK is not supported with a standard tax report, however, have there been any recent developments in this area?Thank you in advance.

The customer has Invoices which have been paid but are still showing in the final posting proposals screen as needing authorization. Is it possible ? Because he has already posted invoices and closed the accounting periods as well. Is there a way to amend or clear off these invoices from the screen? 

Hi All, Since working with APPS10 I have always worked with ‘Work Orders’, ‘Service Contracts’, ‘Work Task Templates’ and ‘Service Quotations’. But currenlty I’m now learning more about the ‘Request Management’ section using ‘Requests’, ‘Request Contracts’, ‘Standard Tasks’/’Service Catalog’ and ‘Request Quotations’.  And allthough there are some differences in approach to both, there are also a lot of similarities. So I am beginning to wonder about the reason why both functionalities exist next to each other. So could anybody try to explain a few things for me:What is the biggest functional difference between “Request management” functionality and “Work Order” functionality? What are decisive factors to use on or the other? Would there be any use-cases where a business would use both next to each other? What is on the roadmap for these 2 modules.I have read the ‘About’ pages on the IFS Help but that doesn’t give me much additional info on the different use cases for both scenarios. Fo

Hi All,Need your kind adviceMy organization is using IFS version 8We have an issue with supplier check payment. User already create a supplier check payment using below screen. However after that they mistakenly deleted the supplier check transactionThey have made the payment on 9/2/2024 and match it with the supplier invoice. However since they mistakenly deleted the supplier check transaction, transaction on 9/2/2024 missing Cash Supplier Check payment type. Below is for your referenceRight now, user tried to create new supplier check payment for this which they can but they cannot match it with invoice since the supplier invoice already matched with previous (deleted) supplier check payment.Can anyone help to advice how we can fix this or suggest a workaround on this?Below is additional information on supplier invoice for this payment

Hi,Since installing APPS10 UPD18 there is a problem with the night shift time tracking.According to our settings the account date should be set to the date the employee starts the shift.Before the update it always worked correctly. Times are now also booked for the following day:03.09.2023Employee started his shift at 21:43 and took a break at 02:5904.09.2023He returned from break at 03:26 and stopped work at 06:00Now it always has to be corrected manually to get the correct result.03.09.2023The correct result should look like this:We haven’t changed anything in the settings. Anyone know anything about this?Is this a bug or does something need to be changed in the settings? As mentioned we are using APPS10 UPD18. Thanks and best regards,Madeleine

I am wondering if there is a database table that stores the customization details done on particular aliases via the Customizer? For example, I am looking to find what fields are visible to which aliases on specific custom forms. Is there a table that stores this? I’m looking to do this on the Item A field specifically, which is a system field.So far I’m using jptsys_def_state_grp table, which allows me to find which fields have a customization on specific aliases. Now I’d like to know what those customizations are… My organization is currently on assyst 11.2.3 if that helps.Thanks in advance!

Hello, We recently upgraded our assyst production environment to version 11.6.3, and converted off the legacy numbering system. Since the change, our implementation of the assyst Mailbox Reader and our assystETM installation are both creating events which have negative incident_ref values. This did not happen in any of our non-production environments during our testing.A couple of examples are below:  Has anyone run into this before? Thanks, Duncan

We have old Change Request Types that are no longer used or valid for our company, but they’re still tied to old records that we aren’t going to delete. Can functionality be added to the Change Request Types screen similar to every other basic data screen in IFS to be able to set them to hidden or blocked so they don’t show up in our list of values?

We have an issue in IFS Aurena both 22r2 and 23r1 (not tested on other versions, I suppose it all version is impacted) on some client’s. We suspect it’s an issue when running the latest version of Chrome/Edge Version 116.0.xxxxxx When you have links in table windows clicking on the links is working expected, but from detailed windows link’s doesn't work when you click on it nothing happens. If you use RMB and choose open in new windows the link open’s in an new browser window without any issues.
